Pros:

Big improvement with acne in just 2 weeks.

Cons:

redness, dryness, peeling however all you need is a good moisturizer and eventually your skin gets used to it

I definitely would recommend trying this. I made the mistake of switching to retin a micro which made my face terrible again so I'm now going back on it. Hopefully it works just as well as last time!!

Pros:

The product helps stop the oil on the surface of your skin and you will be able to see a significant difference with your active pimples in less than 1-2 days of using it.

Cons:

May dry out your skin if u use more than a dime sized amount.

It may also be expensive if your insurance doesn't cover the cost.

I'm 23 and I've had acne since I was about 15. I've used everything from home remedies to lazer treatments and other topical medications but none worked as good as this. I've only been using it for a few days now and I am already seeing improvement (skin is not oily, no new pimples formed, and reduction of existing pimples). For those who have given up hope, it doesn't hurt to try!

Pros:

Since I have been using it I have not had a single spot!

Not having to spend lots of money on make-up to cover spots :)

Cons:

Does dry out the skin in places but if you moisturise in the day and use the cream at night I've found that this problem is mostly sorted :)

I put a bit of the cream on my back to keep that clear too but it bleached my top-it does warn you of this.

I did only have light acne, however, not being in my teens for a while now, I was fed up of teenage skin and fancied getting rid of pesky spots. Having used lots of products when i was younger and not getting the best results I was a little unsure as to whether this cream would actually help. However, after the first week of using this people were commenting about how good my skin looked (!) and I have not had a single spot since :) ! I, personally, can handle a bit of dry skin as I've always used facewash, moisturiser, etc from the doctor's for my extremely dry and sensitive skin. I'd just recommend getting a good moisturiser. Surely it's better to have a bit of dry skin than a spotty chin?

Pros:

-Really Helps Reduce Breakouts
-Skin looks and feels Softer
-Overall cleared up my skin in a month

Cons:

None Really

I had very mild acne in grade school and Freshman Year that was easily treated with Proactiv. When Sophmore Year came around my acne progressed into mild to moderate. I was sick of it and saw my derm and she prescribed me Duac. Some people says Duac works over-night, but it took me about a month to see total results. I expernieced an initial breakout due to the withdrawal to my prior over-the-counter medications and little results for the first few weeks. Then after a month or so my skin has cleared up well with maybe two pimples every other week. Overall, I am extremely pleased with Duac and advise others to be patient with it. Good Luck.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin instantly! NO more acne, less oilyness.

Cons:

Excessive dryness

I have had acne for years and this is the only thing that has reduced it and kept my skin clear. I HIGHLY recommend it! I feel so confident and don't have to wear makeup anymore to hide my acne for the first time in my life- you all know what that feels like.

Pros:

This product cleared all of my pimples and blackheads. Prevents future breakouts really well!

Cons:

Leaves skin dry...if you use too much.

The product now comes with a face wash/moisturizer and it helps with the dry skin. Really good product overall. It really helped my skin.

Duac gel
I used to have a lot of spots on my forehead, cheeks and chin. I started using duac gel 1 year ago and i have to say that it has changed my life. I have absolutely no spots on my face at all it has all cleared. However at the start of my treatment my skin was dry and flaky but that can be avoided by using an oil free moisturiser preferably cetaphil. If you urgently want to get rid of your spots i would highly recommend duac gel and also drink a lot of water.

The only thing that has worked
Mid 2014, around June was the worst my skin had ever been. With around 10 pimples on each cheek and my T-zone covered in redness. I was prescribed Duac after using countless chemist products but also Differin and Epiduo which many people claimed to work. I even tried chinese herbal medicine when I was desperate. The first few days were hard, I had flaky and burning skin with redness all over my face. Despite this, my pimples definitely cleared and in two months time i had no pimples and was left with a lot of hyperpigmentaion (flat acne scars). This honestly helped me so much, when i had acne i wouldn't even leave the house without heavy make-up nor would i have any confidence to look or talked to people. Now that i've used up my Duac gel, I have purchased just Benzoyl Peroxide 5% (It's basically Duac without the Clindamycin) and it still works wonders. Do try this!

worked like a charm for Non-hormonal
Back when I was 14 I ended up with bad acne and occasionally cystic acne on my forehead, near the brows . I was put on this by my doctor and with-in a month my face was 100% clear! after using it for a year i noticed i had grown out of my acne by the age of 20... fast fwd to age 25 and I started having acne again but this time it was just focused at the cheeks (i'm told this is hormonal acne?). again i requested to be put on duac. unfortunately, it doesnt do wonders on hormonal acne. its taken care of most the little white heads but its not done anything for the cystic ones I'm getting in my cheeks. I've been referred to a derm, the scaring on my cheeks from this newest (now year long) break out is depressing. my pores from the cystic are blown out enlarged from the swelling.

Please give this stuff a try!!!!

Pros:

Clears your skin
Skin doesn't feel greasy in the morning

Cons:

Little dryness

I've been using this for a few months and my face is completely clear (occasional flare up depending on how consistently I'm using it /makeup products.) Use it every night and you will not regret it. Worked like a miracle for me
