Pros:

I'm 35. About 5 yrs ago developed huge, disfiguring cysts that never went away. After 4 yrs of USELESS laser TXs, chemical peels, BC pills, allergy tests, ‘detox diets,’ steroids, injections, & every RX invented, this cleared me up 100% in 1 mont

Cons:

Extremely depressed that this seems to have stopped working during past few months. Am currently very broken out, hoping it is just due to increased use of sunscreen. I will be devastated if I have to go through 4 year search again for something new.

Worth every penny and more initially, verdict still out on longevity.

Pros:

Works great!! My dermatologist prescribed this for my acne, and within a week I see a HUGE improvement. Some of my pimples are those huge cyst like ones, and Duac has cleared those pimples faster than anything I've tried before.

Cons:

May bleach clothing or bedding (hasn't for me). Also, it may dry your face a little. I use Duac at night, and in the morning my face is a little dry and flaky, but I just put on my daily moisturizer, and my face feels fine.

Do not refrigerate. Once the pharmacist gives you this medicine (he/she has kept it in the refrigerator), it is good for 2 months, but the patient should store it at room temperature. Bottom line is this has surpased my expectations and I'm glad I tried it.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin so quickly! No more spots! I cant believe how good it is. Everyone says it dries out face and it did not do this for me! Made my skin smooth and spot free so so quickly and i had tried everything (including doxycycline)

Cons:

None at all.

Best thing ever. Highly reccomended. I put quite a lot on at night, woke up with great skin. DO NOT PUT IN FRIDGE. Free as im from england so cant comment on price but i would have gladly paid lots for it if i knew it was going to work this good.

Only thing that worked for me
This worked amazing hand in hand with minocycline it took around 3 or 4 months but it's cleared my not mostly but COMPLETELY I have recently stopped mono. Keeping up with the gel hoping it was helping me the most. So far okay had an increase in small spots. Try to use both but duac does work pretty damn well!

The best!
I'm a sixteen year old girl who months ago started getting pretty bad spots on my forehead. They were red and big and never went. I tried a few things, including Boots Spot Treatment Gel and Salcura Face Wash and they did nothing. I kept trying with hope but the spots stayed. I then tried Duac. This was the best to apply as it isn't sticky and dries instantly. After about 1-2 months, my spots were so almost gone. They are now drastically less red and flat to my skin, now they just need to heal. Duac is the best - don't hesitate to try this :)

Oh and it has completely removed loads of my spots. The ones left are hardly noticeable.

Pros:

It WORKS!

Cons:

-Side effects at first (dry, burning, redness), but they go away.

I told myself that I would write a review when I found a product that works. I'm 26 years old and have had acne since my early 20's, which has gotten progressively worse every year. This past year, I was getting several new cystic pimples every day and felt completely hopeless. I tried proactiv, expensive products such as kate somerville, retinoid creams, every brand of salycylic acid face wash out there, you name it.... and nothing seemed to work. Finally I was prescribed Benzaclin and within a week my face was starting to heal. It's been over a month and I have not had a single new pimple! I actually feel normal again. My face is soft, smooth and even. I LOVE this product and wish I had discovered it sooner. If you can relate to my suffering with acne, do not hesitate to try this product!!! Side note - there were some itchy dry side effects at first. They do go away, just use in tiny little amounts with lots of moisturizer. Your skin will adapt.

Pros:

Cleared me up nicely
Can be used under make-up now
A little goes a long way

Cons:

Messed up my face the first 2 months
- dry
- redness
- flaky
- a little sore even

Touch wood, this product has worked wonders for me and I could not give it higher praise. My acne went from SO SEVERE to 99% clear over 6 months and I hope to stop using it in the coming months and see how I go without it. Of course,, with the good come the bad and the first 2 months were hellish, i was taking an antibiotic and using isotrexin and night, it all made my skin worse at the beginning. I combated the dryiness with lots of moisturiser and my skin slowly adapted and went back to it naturally olive tone. Bottom Line - GET IT, TRY IT, HOPE IT WRKS FOR YOU LIKE IT DID FOR ME!

Pros:

Cleared my spots amazingly!
Noticeable results from day 1
Takes around a month to work, but I didn't notice the weeks go by, just my skin clearing up:)

Cons:

Does dry your skin out, but nothing some exfoliation and a good moisturiser cant fix
Contains peroxide, so don't get it in your eyebrows like I did...

I've had quite bad spots for about 4 years (I'm 15), and I've tried EVERYTHING. Seriously; clearisil, clean & clear, freederm....but nothing worked. At all. But I went to my doctor, and she prescribed me this, and BOOM! My skin is almost crystal clear! It's changed my life! I used to have this massive fringe that covered about 2 thirds of my face (attractive, I know-_-), but since I used this product, I have my hair just framing my face, and get so many good comments! It's even given me the courage to start modelling! Life saver; buy it! Oh, and you don't have to store it in the fridge, it says only the pharmacist has to do that:P

Pros:

Clears acne fast
Gets rid of everything, blackhead, whiteheads.
Skin look amazing

Cons:

Dry skin

I used to average 40 blemishes per week, on average, most likely on the low side, now I maybe have three. After one week I had cut my usual 40 in half, and by week two I started to ask myself "What blemishes" my pimples were large sore swelling under the skin, and a ton of small little whiteheads on my forehead. My nose was covered in black heads, and that number to has decreased drastically. This is amazing, I found a $10 coupon online after my first prescription was purchased, but it would still be expensive, either way I definitely would recommend it! I have T-zone oil so my cheeks get really dried out from Benzaclin, but I use Olay Beauty Fluid, or the Equate stuff if I don't have $25.00, and it really keeps the dead skin soft and easy to remove! Best acne medication I have ever used!

Pros:

Nice and soothing
Gentle on skin

Cons:

Having to keep it in the fridge, but thats not really a problem.
A bit drying.

I have just started using this for a day and I have already fell in love with it. It helps to get rid of pimples you have, pimples that are coming also, redness. This is the only thing that I now rely on mainly. Its meant to dry out the area where you apply it. Would suggest this to anyone who has tried many products like benzac, etc and nothing else has worked with them. Love it!
