Pros:

It appears to have shrunen my pimple, and the redness has definately gone down!

Cons:

At the moment I'm not sure if it will get rid of my pimple

So i have this huge pimple on my forehead. I put some of this on yesterday, and it appears to be working. It immediatly soothed my skin, and i'm pretty sure the size of my pimples going down. I'm not sure if it will completely eliminate my pimple, but it really does seem to be helping me. I'm going to continue use and see what happens.

Pros:

Clears acne FAST and reduces redness by A LOT.

Cons:

Dries out skin but that's not a big problem!

I used calamine lotion last night on my acne. Now I only have acne around and between my eyebrows so i put it there because i had a bright red mark from a pimple that USED to be there and i woke up and that was GONE. all my acne was GONE. and i have sensitive skin so this should work for anyone! Try this because I am not wasting any of my time buying different products. Calamine lotion is the way to go!

Pros:

Love using this product. I have cystic acne and this has cleared up my complexion better than any of the expensive products that I have used. I spot treat at night and they are virtually gone by morning. Also prevents new ones from forming

Cons:

None

Highly recommend! Cheap! A little runny - but if it works that part doesn't bother me at all.

Pros:

It Works!!!!! Does NOT smell bad. Very quick results

Cons:

none

This dries up the pimple quicker than anything I have tried, and I have tried everything in my life!!! I had 2 huge pimples that were still under the skin, For 2 days I've been putting peroxide on them and when that dries I put the calamine lotion on. They are just about gone after 2 days. You will get dry skin if you don't moisturize sometime during the day or night though.

Pros:

It works. Will reverse all forms of current surface acne and even helps get rid of red spots.

Cons:

Won't directly prevent acne. Can be tough to wash off

I've been struggling with acne for 4 years now, I'm 20 now, and I've tried A LOT of products out there. I read about calamine lotion and tried it and wow. I'm not sure if you want to be using it everyday because your acne might get use to it, but when you do use it at night. Make sure it hasn't expired.

Pros:

Extremely cheap and widely available; unbelievably non-reactive: anyone, no matter how sensitive their skin is, can use it; spreads very easily; excellent for reducing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation quickly

Cons:

not quite sure if it has actually reduced my acne itself

Love this stuff. I'm using the cheapo Walgreen's generic brand calamine lotion. I usually put it on my shoulders, face, neck, chest, and back at night and just wash it off in the morning (it comes off fine for me.) To emphasize how gentle this stuff is, you should know that I'm using Differin and Evoclin as well. I put the Differin on after washing my face with Burt's Bees Orange Cleanser, then put on Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion, then put on the calamine. I was my body with Evoclin in the mornings. Calamine is a drying lotion, but even used with differin+evoclin, I haven't had any excessive drying (and I don't have very oily skin) I can't say that it's reducing my acne itself -- I think it may be speeding up the healing process -- but it DEFINITELY reduced post-blemish redness, even overnight. What I like the best is that I can use a really thin layer on my face and it dries almost to invisibility, and it works amazingly well to keep my face matte through the day, worn u

Pros:

Cooling
Soothing
Calms the acne down

Cons:

Dries very powdery

I recently got this huge pimple on my forehead, it just appeared and over the next few days just got bigger and more painful. I tried everything from toothpaste to hot and cold water to antiseptic creams. Nothing was having an effect on this huge addition to my face. I then googled acne treatments and saw that calamine lotion worked. I tried it and hey presto, the swelling went down almost immediately, the redness dissappeared and it doesnt hurt as much. I also found that as I put it on the coolness of it soothed the pain. I would recommend this to anyone who is blessed with huge pimples. Its fantastic!!
