Pros:

affordable & smells clean

I make a pink paste with baking soda and leave on a few mins. til dry and with warm water wash off wait a minute and follow with cold rinse. Really interesting results - my chin which I thought was fairly clear had all the pores open with all the longly clogged tiny whiteheads brought to the surface. Pretty gross I know but the fact they came out and I washed them away is amazing, NO SQUEEZING they literally were drawn out no extracting, forcing or harsh chemicals or redness. I used cold water as a rinse to tighten them back up now that they are the cleanest pores I have had in years. No irritation. Just white skin with less clogged pores.

Pros:

cheap, readily available

Cons:

drying, unattractive

I had a freak break out over 80% of my face this time last year and used calamine lotion every night for several night to heal it. the same exact thing happened this spring too so I have begun the same regimine. It burns a bit but it works fast. It's drying so definitely use a moisturizer the following morning. I just applied with my finger to the active areas and allowed to sit all night while I slept and washed off with a baking soda scrub in the morning then moisturized really well.

Pros:

Works very quickly!
Very cheap!

Cons:

Can only really use it at night

I kept getting very raised white bumps all over my face, and especially my chin which had more of a red appearence. I read about a drying lotion that cost around £20, and i read up reviews on the internet, a doctor said that calamine lotion would do the exact same job and it's a damn sight cheaper, so i tried it, and my face is almost flawless. I would recomment you moisturise your skin after you've washed it off in the morning though :)

Pros:

cheap, effective

Cons:

looks bad on. Not sexy in bed. :)

Works really well. I have stopped using any b.p. and my face is much clearer and the scars are fading. I would wear it all day if possible. Still get acne, but goes away faster and doesnt scar.

Pros:

I just tried this a day ago and it works! it doesnt seem to have any smell, if only a bit of one. Its cheap, and if its runny just close the bottle and shake it for a bit! IM SO HAPPY IT CLEARED ALL MY ZITS!

Cons:

I dont think that theres any cons other than that it stands out on your face, but you can use it at nighttime and then wash it off in the morning. It can make your face a little dry, but thats no matter!

THIS WORKS! i especially reccomend this to anybody that has oily skin, it helps to fix that.

Pros:

-Dries up zits fast
-Soothing

Cons:

-Drying
-Seems to fail after a few treatments
-Can only use at night

Calamine lotion isn't a bad choice for minor acne. I find it often clears mine up, but only for about a week at a time. It then becomes quite ineffective, and I have to stop using it for a time. Then, it seems to become effective again. Strange. Anyways, it's probably not a bad idea to try it.

Pros:

works very well, leaving skin pretty flawless

Cons:

only use at night as it might look a bit weird during the day

i have also read that milk of magnesia supposedly clears skin quickly, so i have ordered some online, just the plain version not any flavoured kind. i am sitting here with calamine lotion on my face right now, it is a miracle cure for spots. if u find it a bit runny, u can pour a bit out in a small container and let it sit for a few hours, it thickens into an ideal thick paste for easy application
