Pros:

whiteheads are GONE!

Cons:

Skin gets extremely tight
Very dry

I used it for a day, because I had whiteheads on my cheeks and around my mouth. I made a paste out of it and left it on my face for about 10 minutes, after that I washed it off, put on some cream and BAM they were GONE! :D

Pros:

clears up acne
fades scars
Makes skin soft and even

Cons:

can sting a little

I've been using baking soda to treat my acne since I was 15. I'm 20 now, and I still use it as a face mask once a week. I just mix baking soda with enough water to make a paste, apply it to my face, and let it dry on. Once it's dry I simply rinse it off and voila! my skin is noticeably softer and more even. I've found that keeping up the routine is a must for me, though. I don't really have acne now, other than the occasional whitehead, but if I stop for even a couple of weeks I start to break out again.

Pros:

Makes skin super soft and cystic acne disappear

Cons:

May sting a little at first

LOVE IT! It is my savior cleanser. I have struggled with acne since I was 16. I am now 30 and started using this product for over a week now due to having 2 huge cystic acne pimples rsing off my chin. I was so embarassed and needed them to fade quickly. I used it as an exfolient on my super oily face then washed with a all natural bar soap and I immediately seen a difference. It dried the cysts up fast. I use it as a face scrub morning and night, I also dabbed it on my pimples as a spot treatment and left it on over night. I actually felt the pimples cringing and dying as they withered away! his is my miricale fase wash.

Pros:

Very cheap
Works quickly

Cons:

Can make skin dry

I started breaking out (blackheads, white heads and some cyst spots) all over my face this year due to stress and I've tried so many things to get rid of it but nothing really worked. I've been using this for just over a week and although at first it made some of my spots scab up, I kept using it and now my face is almost clear, I mix it with water in a bowl and use it as a scrub before I go to bed and then I use an ordinary aloe vera soap in the mornings. I've got no cyst spots, hardly any whiteheads and I've got fewer blackheads. It does dry out your skin, but then most acne face washes do, just moisturise more! I'm not sure if it's doing anything for my scars, but I've only been using it for a week, so maybe it'll make them fade gradually over time! Has worked great for me

Pros:

Effectively gets rid of dead skin cells, revealing new healthy skin. Lightens scars. :D

Cons:

Can be a BIT hard to get it all off. (:

This works great as an exfoliant, and it's cheap! I found that brand name exfoliants just made my skin red and itchy and made me break out more, even though my skin isn't sensitive. Just add half a teaspoon to your regular cleanser and scrub away! (:

Pros:

-Available in huge amounts (value pack!! Thank you Costco!)
-Cheap
-Works immeadiately
-(Depending on whether you like it or not) provides a stinging sensation, and I like to think that that lets you know it is working deep down (in the dermis, which is the 2nd layer of your skin)

Cons:

-Drying, you need to GENTLY buff away the leftover dry skin (best done when wet)
-Runs: in eyes, mouth, down neck, etc. Causing severe pain in the eyes and a unwanted salty taste.
-Flaky, however not so bad as conventional masques

I definitly recommend it, it has worked BEAUTIFULLY on my skin and has DEFINITLY decreased the severity of my acne. I don;t know what I would have done if I hadn't found this lovely little cure in a box.

Pros:

Works better than anything I have used!

Cons:

Nothing at all

I wash my face moring and night with baking soda and my redness is almost gone! my blemishes are hardly there, and this is only after 2 weeks! I've tried so many other products that just don't work. I have also been doing an egg white mask and between the 2 very cheap and simple remedies, my acne is almost gone! I never leave comments or review anything, but I am truly amazed at how well this works. I want other frustrated adults to try it...because it work so well for me.

Pros:

Cleared up some bumps, lighter scaring.

Cons:

None really

I mix it with olive oil (instead of water) it doesn't dry out my skin. I use it every other night or so. It's pretty good No mirical or anything, but better than some store bought cleansers I've used in the past.
