Pros:

exfoliates

Cons:

made my skin raw/irritated in the long run

I liked it at first because it seemed to exfoliate really well, but after a while (once or twice a week for maybe 2 weeks), I found that it irritated my face too much, left my face feeling raw... and my skin tone seemed more uneven. I stopped using it.

Pros:

It lightened acne scars, cleared up pimples dramatically, and prevented any more from coming to head.

Cons:

if the skin was already irritated it can burn and is a little messy.

If you mix it with water and just paste it on your acne will lessen along with scars. I didn't rub it in and I left it on all night like a mask. In the morning I was shocked with the results. My scars were incredibly lighter. I would use it if you have a few hours before going out just in case your skin got red.

Pros:

clears marks/scars
clears acne after 1 use
makes skin smoother
natural

Cons:

can dry/irritate skin of you do it wrong

before i used baking soda, i had light acne, but pretty severe marks from severe acne in the past. i have the kind of skin that gets hyperpigmented even if i dont pop the pimple. that left me with marks on my cheeks like freckles. ew. a couple weeks ago i tried baking soda and immediatley had to stop cuz it made my face bright red for days. the problem was that i left it on for too long. but last night, i tried it again and just used it like i would with a normal face scrub, just circular motions for about 30 seconds. this morning i woke up and looked in the mirror and almost fell over cause of how much ligher the marks were. i think i got a little over excited though and used it this morning too, and it dried me out again. so, im gonna stick to just nights :) THIS STUFF IS A MIRACLE!!

Pros:

Exfoliates, Smoothed skin

Cons:

Didn't work, messy

I mixed the baking soda with honey and applied it to my face for 45 minutes as I sat in the tub. It was a good thing I was in the tub because some dripped off as the baking soda started to work. In the end, it left my skin smooth, it was very relaxing and didn't hurt because of the honey, but it didn't tone down redness or clear my problem areas. I would recommend it for a weekly mask but not a solution to your acne problems.

Pros:

helps at first. cheap.

Cons:

Hassle and mess to make, doesn't clear acne, and feels funny as a mask.

I used this product with dans regimen after i saw the great reviews it got on here. I tried it for at least 3 months but stopped because after a couple weeks it did not do anything for my acne. I would not try this product again.

Pros:

get's rid of acne and problem bumps.

Cons:

none.

I tried this after seeing it all over the internet. I even made up my own recipe. Just mix together baking soda and water to make a paste. Then add a few pinches of cocoa powder. Everyone else says that you're supposed to rub it on but I just patted it on and it only stung a little bit when I rinsed it off. Cheap and it works.

Pros:

Amazing natural exfoliator, Gets rid of scars and dark spots.

Cons:

None

I use this on my face, body and hair. All who have had drying problems you must balance the PH on your skin. A 1 to 1 mixture of Apple cider Vinegar to water on a cotton ball should be applied to your face right after the baking soda wash. Let it sink in and then apply a thin layer of Virgin Cocinut Oil which also has anti-bacterial/fungal properties and your skin will be amazing!!!

Pros:

IT WORKED FOR ME!!!!!!!

Cons:

it stings (but who cares)

i was desperate. i have been dealing with acne for 10 years. i put it in my shampoo bc ur hair can trigger acne. also shampoo w ur head tilted back....dont let it run down ur face when u rinse the shampoo off ur head. try it as a scrub for 2-3 minutes on ur face or use as a mask for 10 minutes. whats worse? 10 minutes of a slight burn or the embarassment of acne? my current acne dried up n vanished in 3 days n the red scars are fading fast i tried it and it works for me...so happy and excited for the first time TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
