Its amazing.
I recommend it 100% its clearing my scars, and for having extreme sensitive skin, its not harsh nor is it drying. I put it on in the morning and again at night with some lemon in it. Of course I do the mask and leave it on for 20-30 mintues. It's amazing guys. Really try it. It does wonders!

May I know how long it took to see the significant result? Because I have been using it for a week but did not see any result, but it did give me few little bumps on my cheeks. Should I continue using it or just stop it?

Pros:

Cleared my skin
Even worked on my cystic acne
Cheap
Easy to apply

Cons:

May irritate ur skin if used too often.

First off, I wanna give a quick backstory to my skin. I come from a family that has alot of acne (mainly hormonal acne--which is the hardest to treat) and have suffered from moderate/moderately severe acne. As I got older (im 20 now) my other acne subsided but I continued to get cystic acne. My derm had prescribed everything under the sun and the only thing i had left to try was accutane, and i really didnt wanna take that stuff. So I watched alot of skin videos on YT and saw a few videos on using Baking Soda as a face wash. I tried it since I had nothing to lose. After buying the BS, i put in a container with water and would shake&pump it to wash my face everyday. MY SKIN CLEARED UP SO FAST!!! it was the clearest my skin had been in years. But since I was using it everyday without fail my skin began to get irritated, really bad. So now I may use it every other day or once a day when i REALLY need it. But honestly I rarely do, my skin hasnt broke out in cystic acne SINCE! ..i MAY get an occasional zit (non-cystic, and very small) about once every 3 weeks or so. Looking back, BS was the only product that cleared my skin up, and now i barely have to use it at all.. overall this worked GREAT for me and it was only a dollar!! :)

A MUST READ FOR YOU GUYS WHO WANTED CLEAR SKIN
Hello! I've been suffering from acne since I was 11 years old and that affected my confidence, I rarely go out of our house because I was so embarrassed of what my face looks like. I have tried many products but none of it really cleared up my skin. So my major breakout was when I was 14-15 years old (I'm 16 now, btw) and I was so desperate to clear and cure my acne because it really sucks having those bumps and puss on your face. :'( And then finally!!! MY FACE CLEARED UP. What I did was to use Sulfur soap (Dr. Wongs Sulfur soap) which works slowly but it really is effective if you are patient then after patting my face dry, I'll put Eskinol and I'll mix Dalacin-c, I'll use that before I go to bed. DON'T use this treatment when going out under the sun because it might burn your face. and don't use this treatment for too long because the dalacin-c will no longer be effective because it is an antibiotic. BUT IT IS REALLY EFFECTIVE, YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE TWO WEEKS AFTER USING IT. I am also using baking soda twice a week and/or Egg yolk mask. this routine cleared up my skin. But just this March I started breaking out again, not that bad tho but it won't stop so I have acne marks again on my skin which really frustrates me a lot. So what I did this time was different, I am putting honey in my face and rub it in circular motion and after a minute or two I'll wash it and then I bought Cetaphil facial cleanser and wash my face with the cleanser, after that, I'll use Apple cider vinegar as a toner (Diluted 50% water, 50% acv) and when my face absorbed the toner I then put Palmer's cocoa butter Skin Therapy Oil for my acne marks or hyperpigmentation and after that I'll put Petroleum Jelly for the dry patches on my skin because my skin is Combination. I noticed the change on my face after 2 or 3 days. I am doing this twice a day, morning and night. It never broke me out. Ever. Now I'm just waiting for my pimple marks to fade. I'm so happy with the condition of my skin right now and I gained my confidence back. Stick to natural methods. It will do miracle. =)) I am planning to buy another box of baking soda because it's doing its job well on fading my marks and preventing pimples from coming out. I am also doing Oatmeal + Honey + Tea face mask or Turmeric + Honey face mask once a week. I also exfoliate using Oatmeal only once or twice a week. I tried exfoliating with sugar but I broke out after using it, I thought that's not the cause so the following week I used that again but sadly, I broke out again after that so I changed to oatmeal. It leaves my skin soft. I also drink tea (green or black). I also tried drinking ACV, a cup of water + 1 tsp of ACV, in empty stomach before. It really did its job. I noticed dramatic changes 2 or 3 days after :) and drink lots of water. It really helps. Occasionally, I rub banana peels on my face before I wash my face whenever there is banana available on our kitchen. Hahaha. I also tried using Defensil, it's so good!!! But I decided to use the Cetaphil instead. But you can use Defensil also because it really dried up my pimples. :) So yea, guys, you might wanna try those routines that I did because I can vouch for its effectiveness. :) God bless and don't give up! You guys can fight those suckers. :)

it works great
This is the best thing I have ever added to my skin care regime! I tend to get acne around my jaw and cheeks due to the pores there being smaller and more prone to clogging. I use this as an everyday exfoliator and cleanser. I have never seen my skin so clear and help with my acne scars. i also mix BS with toothpaste and brush my teeth as it is teeth whitener and Its a great deodorizer too.

Pros:

Cheap
Easy to do
Effective

Cons:

I guess it could be messy but I do it in the shower so it's not a problem for me

I've spent so much $$$ on different products that I pretty much gave up 3 years ago. Nothing worked at all, most of them just made my skin dry or more irritated, and I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide (which didn't work anyway). Recently I was wondering if there was a way to at least fade the left over red marks and I read that baking soda was a home remedy. I thought I'd give it a try since I had nothing to lose. I sloppily rubbed some half-expired baking soda on my face during my bath and the next day my marks were already half as light. I heard that some people leave it on at a mask but then it burns your skin so I don't leave it on (plus I am too lazy anyway). I just massage it into my skin after washing my face normally with gentle normal soap. Then I thoroughty rinse it off after a minute. I've only done this every other day for 6 days (so a total of 3 times) and my marks are about 90% faded.

Pros:

*great for exfoliating
*dries up pimples
*can be used as a wash, mask, or spot treatment
*cheap!

Cons:

*have to use oil free moisturizer
*give it some time to work!

After having allergic reactions to several different acne medications, I was looking for something that would get rid of my acne and not irritate or cause an allergic reaction. I had heard about using baking soda but was a little sceptical, to be honest, but decided I had nothing to lose. I made sure to test the wash (a tablespoon or so of baking soda mixed with a tablespoon of water) on a small part of my face to make sure I wouldn't have an allergic reaction. The next day, I tried the wash on my whole face. I did this for a few weeks and combined it with two other things. I washed with a salicylic acid wash, then exfoliate with the baking soda, then use an astringent pad. I also used the baking soda as a mask every few days before bed. It works great! It gently scrubs off all the dead skin and leaves my face very smooth. It tingles to let you know it is working, and it got rid of my oily forehead and chin. The only con is you have to use an oil free moisturizer (I only use it in the morning) or your face will get dried out. Also, you have to give it some time to work and allow your skin to heal. I have tried so many different things and nothing has worked for me the way this has! I have incredibly sensitive skin and have had allergic reactions to so many things, but this works great for me. If you are looking for something new to try, I would definitely recommend trying it!

Pros:

clears marks/scars
clears acne after 1 use
makes skin smoother
natural

Cons:

can dry/irritate skin of you do it wrong

before i used baking soda, i had light acne, but pretty severe marks from severe acne in the past. i have the kind of skin that gets hyperpigmented even if i dont pop the pimple. that left me with marks on my cheeks like freckles. ew. a couple weeks ago i tried baking soda and immediatley had to stop cuz it made my face bright red for days. the problem was that i left it on for too long. but last night, i tried it again and just used it like i would with a normal face scrub, just circular motions for about 30 seconds. this morning i woke up and looked in the mirror and almost fell over cause of how much ligher the marks were. i think i got a little over excited though and used it this morning too, and it dried me out again. so, im gonna stick to just nights :) THIS STUFF IS A MIRACLE!!

Pros:

It lightened acne scars, cleared up pimples dramatically, and prevented any more from coming to head.

Cons:

if the skin was already irritated it can burn and is a little messy.

If you mix it with water and just paste it on your acne will lessen along with scars. I didn't rub it in and I left it on all night like a mask. In the morning I was shocked with the results. My scars were incredibly lighter. I would use it if you have a few hours before going out just in case your skin got red.
