it works great
This is the best thing I have ever added to my skin care regime! I tend to get acne around my jaw and cheeks due to the pores there being smaller and more prone to clogging. I use this as an everyday exfoliator and cleanser. I have never seen my skin so clear and help with my acne scars. i also mix BS with toothpaste and brush my teeth as it is teeth whitener and Its a great deodorizer too.

Calmed my irritated skin
I almost never have breakouts, maybe one or two blemished during my menstrual cycle. My business has recently expanded, and while painting the walls, I noticed the paint loosened and started to separate from the wall. So I took a scraper and started to chip away any the many layers covering the concrete. What a job it was. 8 hours or so for 5 days in a row I chipped away at the paint. It was hot, I was sweating, and I'd come home each day covered in chips of paint. After the second day I noticed my skin was irritated and deep zits were rising to the surface of my cheeks. After a couple more days I was positive it was related to the paint. My dog also started having wheezing attacks and it didn't take long before I realized the paint I was chipping away at and coming home each night covered in was lead paint. I stopped working and for the next two weeks I was tormented by the worst acne of my life. My skin was so irritated and every day it seemed new painful zits were popping up. Finally I decided I needed something cooling to just calm my capillaries and nutralize my very sensitive inflamed skin. I'm a huge fan of baking soda, it cured my heartburn that I suffered from for years. So without hesitation, I mixed baking soda with coconut oil each night and gently scrubbed my face with it. I saw incredible results literally the next day after using it. My pores calmed down, and I could see the skin smoothing out. It took a total of about five days, my skin healed and the acne retreated. I do highly recommend baking soda. I don't think it's something to fear. Sodium bicarbonate is a naturally occurring chemical in our bodies the regulates the level of electricity in our blood stream (ph levels). the balance of alkalinity and acidly in our bodies in crucial. Of course acids are important, acids digest our food in our stomach, but alkalinity is vital. Without making sure we take extra steps to alkaline ourselves our bodies tend to go acidic. Baking soda is a easy way to keep those levels in check.

Not bad at all :-P
I'm making cream like consistency out of soda and fresh orange juice and tap taping it into my T zone with contour brush (if I go outside T zone, my skin around is burned). I'm very satisfied by seeing 50% improvement of presence of my nasty pores just in couple of minutes :-)

Works overnight!!
I mix a small amount of baking soda with a small amount of water to form a paste, then I apply it with a clean foundation brush to any affected areas on my face. I let it sit until it goes dry and then gently rinse it off. Afterwards, I dab some hydrogen peroxide on and then leave it at that. Works frickin fantastic! Only thing that will clear up my cheeks. I only use this method when I'm having a bad breakout but it works!! Stops the pimples in their tracks.

And another quick comment, I never actually rub it into my face. Just gently pat it on and gently rinse it off :)

Feels niice
Every now and the I add baking soda to my facial scrub with Dr. Bronners Tea tree oil soap and it makes me face feel extra clean and soft. I am a fan. I'm glad to find what I thought was an experiment is actually a tactic a few others have tried as well (FYI, if you add a pinch to your toothpaste/ brush.. It makes your teeth feel extra clean as well!)

Great. <3
The only thing that bothers me is that sometimes it irritates my face, but I have to realize that I'm the one who's exfoliating too hard. But all in all, it actually helps me. I have literally about 20+ little tiny bumps all over my face and forehead. I use this about every night, and USUALLY I scrub very gently, and it does the job for me. It takes away those stupid, irritating little bumps.

Its amazing.
I recommend it 100% its clearing my scars, and for having extreme sensitive skin, its not harsh nor is it drying. I put it on in the morning and again at night with some lemon in it. Of course I do the mask and leave it on for 20-30 mintues. It's amazing guys. Really try it. It does wonders!

May I know how long it took to see the significant result? Because I have been using it for a week but did not see any result, but it did give me few little bumps on my cheeks. Should I continue using it or just stop it?

AMAZING
I've struggled with acne since middle school. I am now almost 21 and although my skin isn't AWFUL, I still suffered from breakouts and scarring. I've been using the baking soda treatment for about a month and a half and EVERYONE around me has noticed a difference! My skin is brighter and clearer. My scars are fading and my acne dries up almost as soon as it starts to appear! I rarely wear foundation anymore, i just use concealer on a few spots. I could not recommend this enough to anyone suffering from persistent acne. I just pour some baking soda and water into a little cup and mix it until it is the consistency of a thick paste. I massage it into my skin for about 3-5 minutes and then wash it off. My skin always feels amazing afterwards! *(When I first used it, my skin was stinging a little, I think because of all of the acne. Now that my face is clearer, it doesn't sting anymore! Just because it might sting a little doesn't mean you shouldn't use it.)

Works.
I read stuff about baking soda and decided hmm why not? The first two nights I put about 2 tbs of baking soda in my hand and a bit of water (enough where the bs didn't completely dissolve) and did swift motions all over my face for about 2 min. to exfoliate my skin. After those two nights I have done it every other night sometimes skipping a day so my skin wouldn't dry out too much. Now that I see my skin, it looks a lot brighter and it feels as though my skin has evened out as well. If you have oily skin like me this is a good product when used in moderation and if you gave dry skin I recommend using a good moisturizer after. P.S. I didn't really have pimples during the use of baking soda so I can't say if it helps with pimples but I think it has helped a tiny bit with my blackheads. But it made my skin very nice :)
