Pros:

Eh.. it works great for a while (ive used it consistently) The fragrance is quite nice...

Cons:

Works for like a month then i get all kinds of acne all over my face. Makes my skin really dry... the toner stings my face. My skin feels so tight after i use it. REFINING MASK HAS NEVER WORKED FOR ME.

It doesn't work. I dislike how it is hyped so much and it doesn't even promise it's guarantees.

Pros:

Worked really well at first. Cleared everything up in a few days.

Cons:

After a few weeks, my face started to get oily again and I got more pimples than I had before even though I hadn't changed the way or amount of times a day I was using it.

Not worth it.

Sulfur mask for acne
I watched the commercial and I was complelled to buy. I wasn't really impressed with the kit but I did like the Sulfur refining mask. So my Dermatologist recommended using a different brand that has been around for 50 years. He suggested using Joesoef Skin Care Sulfur soap 10% with .25% Salicylic Acid. After the first day I can see and feel the difference in my complexion. It's been 3 weeks now and my break outs have diminished even during my pms which is amazing. I've also added into my skin regimen their Joesoef Acne Sulfur 6.6% drying lotion, which I use as a spot treatment targeting my break out areas. I leave it on overnight for maxium affect. These Sulfur products are a must have and worth every penny. I haven't been back to my Dermatologist in months.

Pros:

Helps to keep acne under control, comes with 3 step kit, uses BP as main ingredient

Cons:

Overpriced small packages, harsh cleanser, and the skin around my mouth got really dry after using it for a week (although I expect this would happen with any BP product)

I've been on Proactiv for a week and some days and it's working pretty well. It's helped to keep my acne under control for the most part. I've gotten 2 tiny pimples that went away within a day or two while using Proactiv. Before I started using it, I had a few under-the-surface pimples on my forehead that took a while to go away too even after using Proactiv. Proactiv is on the right track by using BP--I think ultimately their Repairing Lotion is the best part of the kit. The cleanser is exfoliating and uses BP as well, which makes it esp. harsh. It's not good to exfoliate your skin everyday, so I don't even use the cleanser. The toner is all right, although it seems unnecessary. I don't think it does anything. proactiv is way overpriced though for such small bottles, I think you could get the same result by using regular BP on your face everynight/morning.

Pros:

-Works for a while.

Cons:

-Stops working

I've used Proactive for about two years now. Sure it cleared my skin up in about a month. and i continued to use it through out those years. But my acne has come back 2x worse. Im still using it in hopes that it will clear my acne just a good as it did the first time but i'm loosing hope and currently online looking for a new solution. I think an all natural soultion would be less harsh and clear my skin in a healthy way. You should try the same before you make it worse with Proactive!!!

Pros:

I like the complimentary gifts that Proactiv Solution included for me which is the Proactiv Refining Mask and also the Proactiv GreenTea Mositurizer.

Cons:

I don't necessarily have enough money to pay for the products every time (considering the fact I'm un-employed which is probably the reason why).

I'm 18 years old and I think I started noticing something different about my face when I was 17 years old. I tried the Clearasil Ultra Acne System but I stopped after the second week because they contain harsh ingredients so I thought I should try the Proactiv Solution System. So far it has been 30+ days and it's done a good job on my chin because before I used to break - out on my chin, but it still leaves my forehead, and nose oily. Even though people say that you have to be consistent, I feel like if I'm "too" consistent I'm being too consistent with the way I spend my money and I find that my waste of money but like I said every person's skin is unique, so maybe it'll work for others, and not for others but just because it, "might" not work for me it doesn't mean you should stop. Just feel confident and hope for best! Proactiv Renewing Cleanser: The only thing that I'm concerned is those micro-beads since it tends to irritate my skin a little but that seemed to improve. Also my chin area tends to get a little tight which is funny now because that's one of the area's that actually doesn't have oil so maybe it's just a normal process. :-) Proactiv Revitalizing Toner: The only thing that I'm concerned is that the ingredients contained in the toner since it's highly concentrated and it's left my face tight even though it clearly says on the website that it's not suppose to do that but maybe I might just have an allergic reaction now Proactiv Repairing Lotion: The only thing I'm concerned is that since it is contained with highly concentrated ingredients, it makes it worse for me but with the Proactiv Green-Tea Moisturizer, it'll decreases the tightness that's on my face which is a good thing so I can at least talk or smile XD

Pros:

Fast shipment
Step by step instructions on how to use
Left my face feeling soft
Bonus extras!

Cons:

Stopped working after a few months
Product became more expensive overtime

I have seen some improvements within the first few months. It left my face feeling soft and smooth. However, it has been almost seven months and the product eventually seemed to stop working. I haven't noticed any improvement within the past three months

Pros:

-Cleans face well
-Good against breakouts
-Minimizes my pores

Cons:

-Doesn't work for majority of people
-Slow results
-Dries my face out

I've been using Proactiv for maybe over a year now. The upsides to Proactiv are that it really does clean your face. Whenever I'm done using the 3-step system, my face feels legitimately clean. It fights well against breakouts. When I have a bad breakout, I only use it once, it instantly looks better. Another thing is that it minimizes my pores. I went camping and when I came back my pores on my cheeks were huge. Then I used some Proactiv and it minimized my pores. Lastly, Proactiv's Highlight lotion works very well. My acne scars are going away day by day. The downsides of Proactiv are that it doesn't work for everyone. From all the reviews I've been reading, it doesn't seem to help many people at all. Another downside is that results are slow, which sucks because then you blow $40 a month on something that won't end up working for you. Also, it can dry out your skin a lot. I use it twice a day everyday and after a week or so my face will get all tight and dry. I have to stop using it for 4-5 days because my skin gets so dry. I hate that the only way to get rid of acne using Proactiv is by completely drying out your pimples. But it does work occasionally. All in all, unless Proactiv completely gets rid of my acne, I'm not gonna buy anymore. It's not worth it and I see so many people saying how much Proactiv has damaged their skin, I'm scared that it will damage mine. Well, I hope that helps!

Pros:

Proactive works great (if you use all three products every day). It only stings a little bit when you put on the toner. (I decided that meant it was 'working'.)

Cons:

Proactiv is a little, um, labor-intensive. I did it once a day. (Who has time?) I also didn't need the 'automatic' membership, the 'automatic' charge to my credit card, and the 'automatic' shipment every other month.

Use it if you have mild to moderate acne, rich parents, and too much time on your hands.

Pros:

Smells great.
Leaves skin feeling soft.
Easy to use, not time consuming.

Cons:

Does not work.
Too expensive.

I have a lot more pimples when NOT using it but overall it does not clear up anything or help my appearance. I am not satisfied with this product at all. I have been using Proactiv for a while now thinking nothing else would help but I've recently read great reviews on Mary Kay's Acne Treatment Gel and I'm going to try that out and STOP using Proactiv.
