Pros:

It smells nice and it cleared things up in the first 2 weeks. My jawline was breaking out terribly and my nose/chin was covered in blackheads. It definitely stopped that.

Cons:

My cheeks, chin and forehead are not doing so well. I get large painful pimples that don't become whiteheads, but they don't go away for days sometimes weeks. Their customer service/shipping is completely inefficient. Body system just does not work.

I don't think this is worth the money. I've tried almost everything on the shelf. I went with this company because of it's many claims of being a "miracle" treatment. It is NOT. I am very frustrated because I don't know where to go from here. I can understand the dry peeling skin at first, but my skin STILL burns terribly after the second application. They say all bottles should run out at the same time which is NOT TRUE. I just think there has to be something better out there for me.

Pros:

sleek packaging, well-advertised. Money-back guarantee

Cons:

dried my skin out. NOT SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN!!!

for the first few weeks, proactiv made my skin feel nice and smooth. but after a while, it started breaking out again, and drying up. My aunt used it after me, and she has sensitive skin: note: the cleanser has scrubbing beads that literally scrubs the skin! not for sensitive skin at all!

Pros:

nice packaging,it works!

Cons:

its expensive!, i dont like the smell, makes my skin looks shiny & oily, bleaches my clothes, pillows n towels,& also makes my skin even more worse & more sensitive than before i started using proactiv if i stop using th

i've been using proactiv for 6 years..before i started using proactiv, i only have breakouts around my forehead and chin area. proactiv does help clearing my skin but i do sometimes have a few pimples here and there (due to stress etc). learning that proactiv contains glycolic acid and etc. (i dont like most of their ingredients) in their ingredients i felt like im torturing my skin.. so i stopped using them for a while...and guess what after 2 weeks my skin looks terrible! breakouts everywhere (i even have plenty of pimples in my cheeks & jaw line) and also its getting more sensitive..so i consult few dermatologists and they told me that glycolic acid did this to my skin, they also told me that my skin layer is getting thinner because of the product (that explains why my skin becomes more sensitive) and some of their ingredients may also gives other side effects in the long term (just imagine ive been using them for 6 yrs!!)...im sorry to say but this product does sucks!!

Pros:

proactive really helped me get rid of my acne. I noticed results quickly and it helped my skin stay clear for a year or more. Then I stopped using it...

Cons:

I figured my skin would stay clear but after using a different cleanser, my face broke out again. I tried to get back on proactive but now it is drying out my skin like crazzzy. It kinda burns too. I never remember it doing that before.

I would recommend people to use this prodcut and stick to it. Don't think that your acne is cured though, you should stay on proactive if you decide to try it.

Pros:

WORKS!

Cons:

PRICE! and fear that i may become so reliant on it or it might stop working at some point in the future.. altho with price, i figure i prob used to spend an equal amount on skin care stuff trying to rid of my spots anyway.

I have not had skin this clear or smoothe for years! I think its very important to use exactly as directed - cleanse for 2mins, rinse very well, & leave time between each step for each solution to sink in. I am not getting 100% clear skin 100% of the time but i am very close to it - every now and then i may get a spot but it goes away so quick and is never as bad as the big mountains i used to get - the kind that stayed for weeks! can get a bit drying with use twice a day but nothing a bit of moisturiser cant fix, PLUS proactive really helps get rid of scarring. I am so glad to have found it, i never had chronic acne so don't know how it will be for those people, but I think its definately worth a go. bit pricey tho...

Pros:

It cleared up my face pretty fast. I like it so far!

Cons:

It dries your face out! After I use the three step system I use clinique face lotion and that takes care of it.

If you have sensitive skin I would NOT recommend it, but if you dont got for it! I have noticed good results so far.

Pros:

I have used it for over 6 months and no breakouts. A zit here and there but nothing noticeable. Even the proactiv workers asked why i needed their product... I use their salycic acid body wash and cream on my face. and benzyol peroxide toner

Cons:

I reccently went off birth control and I got a breakout before my period. Proactiv was not good enough to fight it off but it was my first breakout in half a year..... incredible!!!

Try it out..... it worked for me but it seems like not everyone. Don't get the benzyol peroxide one unless your skin is naturally oily. Salycic acid works for me and i have combination skin.

Pros:

Proactiv cleared up my skin fairly fast.

Cons:

If I used the system as directed, it stripped my skin of moisture.

You must adjust usage for your own personal skin type. I now use Proactiv once a day or once every two days, and try to keep my skin moisturized with other moisturizers.

Pros:

helps clear acne and also prevent, easy to follow

Cons:

OVER DRYS SKIN BIG TIME!!!

i think its working, i just need to keep using it and stick to the system. My skin is extremely dry!!!! though, but is becoming clearer. Nothing seems to be able to make my skin moist, so im cutting back down on the repairing lotion to once a day or once every few days and are using the scrub less vigoursely.
