Pros:

Doesn't dry skin out. Makes skin somewhat smoother.

Cons:

Expensive. Doesn't work as well as promised.

It worked at first then the longer I used it the less it worked until it finally just stopped. Not a very good product. Doesn't work like the commercials say.

Pros:

I used it for the first time about a year ago with acne clearing results.

Cons:

I started it back up again about a month ago and it isn't clearing me up at all! Plus, my skin is flaky and itchy, particularly around my chin and mouth area.

I'm ready to try something new! I think this product is awesome for some people and bad for others.

Pros:

i liked proactive. when i saw it on tv i was so excited to use it. people noticed a good improvment and it felt really good.

Cons:

people saw an improvmnet in my skin, but my acne never fully healed. it also made my skin dry in the forehead area. when i would get a bad pimple, i would use the mask, but the next day the pimple would still be there.

i recommend it if you know how to treat the dryness that may occur. my doctor gave me differin, which caused a severe reaction to my skin and now everything seems to make my face irratated. i asked my friends and family about which skin treatment made my skin look the best, and they all said proactive so im probably going to get back on it soon.

Pros:

It smells nice!

Cons:

Worked great the first day or two, nothing noticably different, but I began having a severe burning and then drying within a few days after that! Extremely expensive stuff, do not agree with the price at all.

I think it works for some people. We all have different skin types so I suppose it varies. I have yet to see "Jessica" or "Vanessa" results, as they imply, but maybe I will soon enough. I would not reccommend to someone who has little income-you can find something that helps just as much over the counter at your local store.

Pros:

Seemed to work well, only used it every second or third day but after a month my skin was clear. . .even before my period.

Cons:

Rip-off price. At at a yard sale, a lady had some unused kits that she bought for the 39.99 a couple years back and I noticed the sizes were DOUBLE what they are now! The cleanser and toner were 8 oz. and the repairing lotion was 4 oz!

I cancelled my subscription after seeing their special deal of 19.99 was only because they cut their sizes in HALF! Proactiv is good but they are a scammy company!!!

Pros:

Doesn't take that long to start working, faily easy to get, seems to keep skin clear for months, doesn't seem to have toxic ingredients, smells alright, and isn't too hard on your skin whil it's broken out.

Cons:

You need to keep buying every month, it makes having sun block on a must, you have you use it like every day, it you have facual hair it can bleach it, doesn't seem to do anything for scaring, and brake outs can still happen while you are using it.

I have used this stuff off and on for years, it can work for clearing your skin, but I only use it now at most once a day unless my skin brakes out... many times because I try life with out it for a few days or a week. I always seem to go through the Renewing Cleanser long before the other stuff, I guess that part helps me the most. While I was at the beach for two months I stoped using anything besides Aloe and swiming twice a day for a month and I did great. Once I got back to Colorado though with in not much time with out the Ocean my Acne started back up. I am still on the look out for something that will help me control my acne naturaly and free me of this product nightmare. I do recommended this product for people that have nothing else realy work, but most of all just try not to touch your face a lot, and moisture lotion SPF 15 is realy important too I like Olay complete. Good luck and try to say stress free!

Pros:

It did make my skin (the part not covered with acne) softer.

Cons:

It didn't work very well at all.

It doesn't work. At least the regular kind. When I used it I still had a lot of my zits and it only make the redness worse. I don't recommend it.

Pros:

it helps clear blackheads AND LITTLE PIMPLES, ONCE CLEARED A HUGE ONE.

Cons:

it made my skin have a reaction, and sometimes the cleanser can irritate your skin and make fricken acne worse.

i dont use it anymore, stopped using after like a month almost a year ago, but kept the reparing lotion which sorta helps. dont buy it tho, well may work, idk.

i have somewhat sensitive skin and i use the gentle form of proactiv. it still uses salaylic acid but instead of having benzoyl peroxide in the formula there is tea tree oil and natural skin soothers like aloe. i still find i have mild acne after using it but think i'll have to deal with acne until i grow out of it. however, i have been dealing with acne all my teen years and have tried many products (including the generic form of proactiv) but the proactiv GENTLE formula has worked the best. i recommend this produce for someone who has sensitive skin along with moderate acne.

Pros:

I started using proactiv last year for about 3 months and then I stopped using it for like 5 months. I recently started using it again. It works but only if I use the repairing lotion with it.

Cons:

The repairing lotion leaves my skin dry and the next day my face is red.

I guess it works for some people so if you have acne you should at least give it a try.
