Pros:

i don't see good thing come from Murad except that it didn't make my face red and super itchy like Proactive and Clearasil.

Cons:

it is a bit itchy when i use the exfoliating acne treatment gel...so i don't use it too often.i used the soap and the rest of it. But i saw nothing but more acne that i usually never get "white tiny blackhead aroung my mouth" it sucks

i used this since the end of november. And i see no difference. It only make it worst than before. I will return this as soon as i have time.Man... when can i find product that will work for me...

Pros:

It definitely dried out my pimples.

Cons:

Like everyone else, in less than a week I started getting red tiny bumps around the mouth, chin and jawline area (almost like eczema).

The acne clearing up was definitely not worth itching and burning. I called Murad to ask about this. The only suggestion they had was to use the exfoliating gel every other day. Tried that and after a few days, I started to get scaly! As soon as I started to look like a mutant, I quit right away. All this in only 7 days. No thanks! Too bad I bought it on ebay (no money back guarantee for me).

Pros:

The cleanser was nice and makes my skin feel smooth and fresh. The gel seems to work at first. The lotion was not greasy and feels light.

Cons:

Did not work as advertised.

After using this kit for a year, I did not notice any difference. In fact, my acne has gotten worse. Even though when you initially put on the gel, your face will feel tingly, but then my skin started to itch. I also used the sulfur treatment that came with the kit. It supposedly is supposed to get rid of inflammation. However, it just stinks up my face and didn't reduce any redness at all. Overall, I would not recommend this product. It's too expensive and it does not seem to work for my moderate to severe acne.

Pros:

fancy package,

Cons:

Expensive. DOES NOT WORK, headache to return, deceptive customer service.

DO NOT ORDER MURAD OR TRY IT. The worst Aspects 1. The company is shady. i ordered one kit and they charged my credit card 3 times, then again for hte next month for another 3 kits, for a total of 6 kits. THe reason: the first time, the order didnt go through. So i decided okay, guess its my credit card, so i used a different one, failed again, then another different credit card, then the orders all magically went through. If you return it they only refund you 35, when you pay 45. so i lost 60 and wasted lots of time going to the post office. 1. it doesnt work, at least for me. im medium oil skin. my face got really red and i followed thier regimen religiously for 4 weeks. 2. its about the same as proactive. Pro active worked for me in college, but then i stopped cuz it got all better, and then came back. 3. The only thing good is the clay mask, that was nice and helped a little.

Pros:

The cleanser really feels like it's cleansing your face really good, you get that Tingling feeling, but it didn't work for me=(

Cons:

I still break out, I'm still currently using it, but once I'm done with it, I will not buy it again. I never saw my skin improve...and it's been 3 months.

I have a friend who told me that her friend was using it and it was working for her, but again it didn't work for me. I can't say it won't work for somebody else, but I would say stick with the trials first since they are less expensive then the regular sized bottles, and see if it works for you!

Pros:

It helped a little.

Cons:

Smells bad, left my skin uneven and rough looking, not worth the money.

It cleared my skin up a little. It was by no means as good as they make it out to be. My skin tone in uneven and I still have little blackheads around my mouth and nose and my forehead broke out more then it ever had using this product. I thankfully didn't go through the much revered purging process.Basically my skin stayed the same. I still had break outs but they weren't as big as the ones I had before I was using Murad. I gave it a fair shot and used it for 4 months before I decided to switch back to Proactive. I won't be using this again. It's not worth the money.

Pros:

Smells nice, uses several natural ingredients

Cons:

Where to begin... very expensive, treatment gel comes in a poorly thought out container, alcohol used in some products burns and dries skin, "purging" process never stops. Acne became worse than it's ever been.

Don't waste your money. Look at all the negative reviews on this site and elsewhere. It started out well, with my skin feeling soft and clean. After about a week, I started to break out pretty bad, in places I have *never* had breakouts before. They say this is the "purging" process, so I didn't worry about it, figured it was working. Through the second and third weeks of use, I kept thinking I'd turn a corner, but the "purging" just got worse. Zits and blemishes that went away were replaced, and I had more breakouts in areas of my face I never get acne. By the fourth week, I looked worse than I had my entire life, and by the end of the 5th week my skin was red and irritated as well. That's when I checked this site, and stopped using it. I wish I had done so sooner. I just hope it doesn't take me too long to get back to the relatively mild acne I was dealing with before I tried this product. BUYER BEWARE. Murad not only doesn't work, it may make your acne

Pros:

It worked for about a week.

Cons:

It made my skin break out worse than ever before. I have oily skin in the forehead area and this product did nothing to control the shine on my forehead. Proactive controlled my acne and the shine, but was too harsh.Murad was milder but didn't work.

Don't bother with this product.
