Pros:

The only pro of this product is that it felt good on my skin. My face looked fresh

Cons:

It did not clear up my skin at all. The spot treatment burned and didn't do a thing for my breakouts.

I was so excited to get this product. But after two months of using the product exactly as they directed, it had not cleared my acne up at all. I think that the company should have had a longer money back garentee. This is a horrible product and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Pros:

evens out skin tone

Cons:

huge puss-filled zits, which cancels out the even skin tone!

i'm approaching 30, and started having more pimples around PMS-ing, so i decided to try something new (besides clearasil face soap). worse mistake of my life. i have huge red zits on my cheeks, forehead and hairline! i've NEVER had zits on my hairline! and they ALL have puss!!!!!! before using this product, my pimples would go away in a week, now i feel it's getting worse! i had faith in this product, so i kept using and using it. no luck. my skin is worse off than ever. and they all scar REALLY bad. i really wish my friend never recommended this to me. if i could rewind time, i would never have tried this crap.

A Mediocre Product

Pros:

Price
Accessibility

Cons:

Lack of viable results

I have tried Murad numerous time, and I have gotten mixed results about their products. Hence, I don't know how effective they are. What really worked for my, with break outs and scarring is an all natural product I have purchased from Holystic Hut dot come, I have used the spot treatment "Almogan" their Detox Tea "Nikuzit" and their moisturizer "Neve" all you can find at Holystic-Hut website

Pros:

I didn't think the smell was bad at all; one month supply has lasted over five weeks, and I still have enough for at least another 10 days.

Cons:

After five weeks, still purging. Cystic acne, whiteheads, etc. Embarresed to be seen in public with my face the way it is.

I am not sure if my face is worse than it was before, but it's not better like I hoped it would be. I am 37, and am having worse acne now than when I was a teenager. I don't think the lotion is any good. The cleanser is fine. I am going to finish it up, but I don't think I am going to buy it again. I know different things work for different people. I just don't think these three-step systems are good with my skin. Back to the dermatologist.

Pros:

Nothing other than giving you false hope when you begin using it.

Cons:

Makes your acne worse than before.

Using this made me brake out with whiteheads that eventually got worse, gave me horrible scars and ruined my life.

Pros:

It was affordable, and had a "money back guarantee"

Cons:

Ruined my skin - over a year later and I'm still trying to repair the damage. "Purging" never stopped.

After glowing reviews and a "money back guarantee" - I thought, why not? If it doesn't work, I could always get my money back. Nothing has worked to clear up my mild to moderate adult acne (26 YOF, developed acne about 6 years ago) - I thought this might be the answer to my prayers. I couldn't have been more wrong. My skin looked fantastic for the first week - I used exactly as directed, except I cut back on the gel because it was so harsh. Within a couple weeks I broke out in deep, painful cysts. I developed acne on my cheeks (which had never happened) and a cystic lesion smack between my eyes - to this day, it's still there haunting me, refusing to budge. It completely changed the balance of my skin - it's never been the same since. OH - and the money back guarantee? TOTAL LIE! Sent in my bottles and never received refund!

Pros:

smells okay, feels like it's working. The first week I think it DID make my skin better, but it didn't last for long.

Cons:

After a week I had more zits than I ever have before and now I have scars from them. It doesn't get better after 3 weeks of "purging", it gets bad and I saw no improvement.

My friend told me she was using this and to give it a try. Like I said it got bad quickly, but I stayed on it because she would ask about it and kept telling me to push through, it'll get better, but after about 5 weeks with no improvement, I sent it back and got my money back, minus the $15 shipping!! >:| Anyways, I see her often and she still gets acne, even though she likes the product she still has it and she's been on it for a year, at least. don't waste your time, get on Accutane or some other pill. To get rid of your acne you need something working from the inside as well as the outside. BEST OF LUCK! :)

Pros:

The pro I would say is the smell

Cons:

Made your face break out

The bottom line is that I gave this thing a chance.. I used it as recomended.. I used it for about 4 weeks thinking ok.. The purging is going to stop.. EVERYDAY something new formed.. Then in week 4 I would have about 3 to 4 pimples form and they were huge... By the mid of week 4 I wanted to crawl under a rock it made my face so bad.. I mean I really gave this thing a chance.. I guess it really didn't work for me.. So I would say if you want to try it, try it for the length of time recommended to see if it's really right for you..

Pros:

Worked well at first......

Cons:

Stopped working all together after a few months. Used to have a lot of small pimples, now I have a few rather large ones at all times. I can handle the small ones better than the large ones!!

Not worth the money!!! I have tried many cheaper products from Wal-Mart and had better success than with this product and at a fraction of the price. I have been looking everywhere to try and find a product that actually works....guess I'll try another one!

Pros:

You can have a refund :)

Cons:

It burned my face
It made my T-zone greasy!
The price for this isn't justified

My face is worse than before I started the product The step 2 "gel-exfoliant" irritated my skin painfully! Proactiv is way better.. it's not as irritating and it smells so much better than Murad.
