Oh I misread your post. Sorry about that --   Did you do anything else differently that might have triggered it? Remember that Accutane makes it harder for you to break out, not impossible.

Sounds like upping the dosage kicked it into gear. Normal.

This is very normal. Part of accutane is that is breaks apart the stuff that holds dead cells together (basically all the gunk under your skin), causing it come to the surface and flush out.

Just go to a different derm if you think yours is an incompetent jerk. You can't force your dem to prescribe anything she's not comfortable with.
