I haven't changed my diet on accutane much. I avoid dairy because I know it breaks me out but that's about it. Honestly I think accutane is so powerful it doesn't matter what you eat.

i tried the strict diet as a last resort for 2 months before recently starting accutane. Honestly i didnt notice a single difference, though my diet was pretty good before going on the super strict diet. Good luck on the accutane i hope it works well for you!

Honestly there's very little evidence that shows what you eat effects your acne.

true but personally

you dont need an evidence when you have 100 clear skin and then boom after eating crap you get acne

so you BS yourself and say it was just luck

but what if this keep hapening everytime ....you kinda have to say F it and stop eating that crap

but the question is ....when does accutane starts cancel the diet effect

i hope i reach it ...becuz i cant take another major Breakout

This is false. There is very little conclusive evidence that points specific foods, etc. as causing acne -- but this is likely because food and nutrition is a complicated ecosystem and lots of things can trigger or help prevent acne.

However, it is well understood that what you eat definitely effects your health and therefore your skin. By decreasing your oil production, accutane will help you to prevent breakouts, but if you're awful enough to your body, you can still overcome it, especially once you're off the meds. If you're convinced you can do whatever you want and it won't affect your skin, you are going to be battling acne for a long, long time.

You're one of those naturalists aren't you...

That fact is there is very little scientific evidence that food is CAUSE of acne. Whether or not it contributes to acne is a different story. Changing your diet isn't going to give you miracle godly skin.

Your eating habits aren't causing your major breakouts while on accutane. It's completely normal, I've been through three huge breakouts on accutane even though I eat very healthy and always have. You're probably not going to get better until a few months in and even then people experienced breakouts. I'm only on month two.
