hmmm...well this is day 5 and so far im catching the breakout......and i do notice that some of  the bumps are starting to peel..i cant say for sure whats causing it because im taking b5 and using bp while on this.

did anyone else experience peeling while taking this?

i am breaking out also and it is already 2 weeks cry.gif . I am also peeling but i don't know it it is the retinyl palmitate or the 20% topical Niacinamide i am using that is causing the peeling skin. Niacinamide is well know also for its exfoliating ability.

deepboi, i live in canada and had the high shipping, but the manufacturer says he incurs some base charge for each package. don't no if that is true but if you order more than one bottle the shipping rate is almost the same. i guess you can't do more than one until you see if it works but the initial cost was worth it for me to try in the end.

Re-reading the instructions on thevitamincure.com... it says that my skin should soak in/absorb while I sleep, but I have the solution all over my face in the morning exactly how I went to sleep with it. Anyone else have this problem?

Not especially, its still there a bit, but most seems to be absorbed. How many drops are you applying? I put a few on my forehead, about 1.5-2 on each cheek a couple of blobs on my nose and one on my chin.

It takes a while for the stuff to get absorbed properly. If you have oily skin it will push the stuff out I guess.. Once the oil get's better (less of it) the vit a will be absorbed better.

That's how it worked for me..

Im surprised that noone has reported severe side effects yet. I have the same side effects as when I took accutane. Horrible muscle/joint pains and eye dryness/swolling. Im using less than 6 drops every day.

I hate everytime I use it just as I hate everytime I took accutane. I still do it because I have no choice, nothing else works for me.

hey jh11OK, how did accutane work for you while you were on it? i've heard that the results aren't permanent... i'd kill for a permanent fix to my oil slick! i have my derm appt tomorrow and i'm gonna ask him what my options are.

Hmm that sux man. But no one is reporting side effects cuz really know one is having them... The only thing I've noticed is a slight burning sensation when I initially apply it that dissipates roughly 10 minutes later. Possibly due to the fact that I'm still doing Botchla's reg.

I think the burning feeling you speak of after you apply it may be cause by the clove oil (which is what the stuff smells of), very overpowering, not sure why it's in there, must be a reason tho.

Ah-ha, I googled ""clove oil" acne" and the first site that came up said :

Clove oil is a very potent essential oil that has burning and purifying properties. In its pure form it is very irritating and should be blended with a skin friendly carrier oil (like grapeseed oil) before being applied to the skin. Some devotees use it full strength as a spot treatment for stubborn acne, but this is not generally advised. When diluted, clove oil can be applied to the skin to treat emerging or existing breakouts. It is very strong and acts very quickly.

I use the vit a 15 drops (3 on each of cheeks, chin, nose and forehead) I can't get a good coverage with anything less, even with 15 I feel Im not getting a chance to spread it anywhere before it sinks in. I think my skin is very dry, tho my Rachel Perry moisturiser has arrived now and Im hoping that will solve my dryness, this moisturiser feels so nice smile.gif

I think my oil production may have improved slightly. Hard to tell whats done it as Ive recently overhauled my whole regimen.

The other thing I was thinking was: what vitamin pills are you on? You can get toxicity at only a few times the RDA. I've actually had very minor toxicity symptoms at 100% supplementation level before. It took months, but I managed it eventually, through sheer consistency.
