The regimen reccomds a 10% BP *wash*, which is the Blackhead Scrub, I believe. You can add the BP cream to the regimen if you'd like, but the original regimen includes just those two face washes.
Jred - I used the Botchla regimen for almost two years (my skin is good enough to where I've been able to ease off the face washes and just use Dan's cleanser and BP cream). It took about two months to see a radical difference - with a few breakouts in between - but it did work very well.
Okay so I'm using this regimen after going off it for a few days. Boy did I regret it. I switched over to Delna's method becuase I've realized I don't really have acne but a whole bunch of red marks and blackheads. I started breaking out badly and peeling and flaking, and now I'm back to Botchla's plus 100% aloe Vera gel to help with redmarks. *crosses fingers* I'm cleared up but now the problem is the blackheads. Will they clear up in two months or will I need to do something else to exfoliate better? Help help!
Nazual :
I am coming up on 5 weeks and I have to say, I'm starting to see improvements. I will post some new pics as soon as I get my digital camera back
You're starting to see improvements at week 5? Bleh, today is the beginning of week 3 for me and Im still breaking out. Hopefully the regimen is bringing everything to the surface. How were you around week 3?
Has anyone else been seeing good results? Any pics please??? Im thinking of starting this regimen......feedback is welcomed....thanks
Not yet. Botchla mentions that you should see results around 4-6 weeks. I'll upload pics around then.
i have got everything to switch to this regimen from dans regimen but im scared to change! i have been on the dans regimen for over a year now and im worried my acne will get worse if i swap dans regimen has not cleared my face up 100% and i dont like having to apply the gel and leave it on all day and it makes my face oily!
has anyone switched to this regimen from dans found that it reduces oily face and keeps ance away as good as or better than dans?
should i or should i not swich????
not sure how long it has been since I started this regimen. I know it's been at least a month....well anyways the blackheads are going away and I only have about 1-2 active pipmles at any given time! I've been using mederma for the redmarks and every morning when I wake up they've faded a little more. At this rate I should be mostly clear of redmarks in two weeks, just in time for the family reunion! Then people who haven't seen me with clear skin for 8 years will be amazed! As soon as the redmarks are gone I'll add the bp wash in and that should clear me up 100%. Just wanted to say thank you so much Botchla you've saved my life!
I've been using Neutrogena Men's Acne Wash (2% SCA) and C &C Continous Control (10% BP) at night, and then using a C&C deep cleanser (the one that makes your face tingle), and after about a month or so im starting to see improvements in some areas. Under and on my eyelids i used to have these cyst like pimples that are just too delicate and small to squeeze, and now they are mostly all gone. However, i did get worse in the chin area, probably because ive been trying to pop pimples there. I have gotten some red marks in the chin area, but it looks like they've been dissappearing, i'll start using a mixture of baking soda and sea salt to make my skin better once a week.
So yeah all in all, this is starting to workout, I've gotten maybe 1 swelled pimple per every 2nd week ever since i started using it, and its usually on my forehead. On top of that ive noticed some visible clearing, but i would suggest that you put a lot of effort into making sure the BP sinks into your pores, i usually message it into my face and then stop for about a minute or so.
would this regimen be recommended for me?
This regimen takes a while to start working. When I began using it about 2 years ago I broke out for the first 2 weeks and then after that it kept me almost 100% clear. After about a year I decided to try to eliminate one of the products. I was initially using the bp and sa both morning and nights so I started using BP and SA at night and only BP in the morning. After a month with no new breakouts I cut out the BP at night so I was using BP in the morning and SA at night. I have since cut out the BP all together and am able to keep about 95% clear by only using SA in the morning and at night. This regimen works great for my acne but doesnt control excess sebum.
I just started this regimen today. After my first wash in the mourning using both the SA and BP, I have to say that my face is really feeling soft and smooth. There is also no dryness! I'm planning on using both the SA and BP mourning and night unless my skin gets irritated. I will keep you guys updated!
alright so i've been on this regimen for about a month and a half, i noticed some clearing but i still managed to see forming pimples, in fact more forming pimples than i ever had. i also noticed that whenever i tried to squeeze any pimples the tissue on and near the pimple would turn red, this would never happen. my skin was so weak! and i thought to myself, am i poisoning my face? do i really want to be like Dan and buy products every month for practically the rest of my life? didn't God make our bodies perfect? if so, then why is my acne getting worse. why has my acne grown since the first day i had a pimple and treated it? i swear i had like an epithany, and i came up with this. i will be using no products using BP, SA, or any other chemicals. i switched my regimen to cleaning my face with salt water (i went to cuba for a week 2 years ago and i noticed that my skin was completely clear due to salt water), and spot treating with tea tree oil. im also gonna start doing a Baking Soda mask once a week to reduce red marks.
the human body can physically repair itself, and that means our acne can be repaired if we stop poisoning and weakening our skin with artificial chemicals, and letting our body fight it off. if this all goes well im expecting for me to be clear with little or no pimples here and there, having tougher/thicker skin, and be like that for the rest of my life. and so far i am almost 3 weeks into it and my skin is starting to clear up and scars are starting to fad.
I have been using this idea for a little while now
( the whole SA and BP combo )
I use a 10% BP spot treatment on my big pimples, but I hardly ever break out
When I do it's only on my cheeks and it's usually small, rash like looking bumps, but they look like tiny little pimples
My face doesnt break out- only in that rash thing every few weeks or so
I don't know whats up with it, I've taken something called deoxycycline or something like that? and it just made the rash thing worse.
Using the SA and BP together has helped my skin a lot though
The BP freaked my skin out the first few times I used it, under my eyes got puffy and my whole face turned bright red
Probably because I used 10% BP all over my face
Bad Idea? hah.
Well, hopefully YASMIN and this specific regiment will clear my stubborn face
Thanks for the help
wish me luck
these rashes is what im talking about. the further you get into the regimen the weaker your skin becomes, and whenever you touch a pimple u start getting rashes on your skin that takes like 2 weeks to fully dissapear. this happens especially when you pop a pimple, its really annoying. thats why i stopped and the rashes quickly dissappeared and i never get them when i squeeze a pimple.
I'm currently using on the spot BP in the morning and retin-a micro 0.1 in the night. Before applying products, i wash with cetaphil wash for normal to oily skin. Afterwards, I moisturize with olay spf 15 complete moisture. Acne wise, my skin has almost no spots, but it is very oily and very very dry. I was wondering if this regimen might be simpler and easier on my skin, but I have sensitive skin and was thinking, will this be too drying? Thanks in advance for your advice!
Hey everyone!
After reading some of the posts here, I've decided I'd give this Clean&Clear regimen a try. I've been using one of the C&C daily washes for some time and I liked it so maybe this regimen will work for me.
I only have one tiny problem. I went to the pharmacy today and I could only find the Blackhead Clearing Scrub. The pharmacist told me they will order all C&C products available in my country (Romania) and hopefully the Continuous Control will be among them. The thing is the C&C products are quite new here and I'm not sure I'll be able to buy the BP wash here.
So if anyone knows an online drugstore or something that ships to Romania(that's in Eastern Europe) or maybe I could replace it with something else that I might find here containing BP.
If anyone has any suggestions, they're welcome
I have a question for all the CSR users out there who switched to this regimen.
I have been on the CSR for a few months now, and I'm pretty much clear. I absolutely love it. However, I am the type of person who loves to travel and staying in other people's homes means that I cannot spend forever in their bathrooms every day. This seems to be a much quicker and easier solution to my problem then the CSR.
I just want to know if switching over to this regimen means that I will break out again, or if all of the infections have already been brought to the surface by the CSR.
My face right now has one tiny pimple and a bunch of red marks that are slowly but surely fading. I don't want to mess that up!
one more question before I start this regimen...
Is there anything special that I need to do after swimming, showering, etc.? Like moisturize again or something?
Dan's regimen required and extra moisturizer application after swimming because it was so drying. Is this anything like that?
