This is the FIRST time that I've actually come on acne.org with a happy face and not always with suicidal thoughts because acne was ruining my life. I have finally found something that is CLEARING my face 100%. I know that Botchla's hasn't worked for many of you, including myself but PLEASE you have to try my routine. I will be making a post explaining my results and how I got them so please come check it out because it really, really works. It will be posted as "Clear from three products"

Reporting: I am very, very satisfied with this regime. I had to incorperate a few small changes, but it's working wonders for me.

MORNING:

SA Wash

BP Wash

1 squirt Neutrogene Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 15

EVENING:

St. Ives Medicated Scrub

BP Wash

I found with my job (lotso' sweat and chemicals) I needed something with more exfoliation in the evening, but the SA is the same amount. It has taken care of the bumps I got on my forehead.

This provided me with a formula. And it works. The ONLY visible marks on my skin (over three weeks in) are the two small scabs from pickings a week ago. (I heal slowly!)

I am using Botchla's reccomended CC BP (blackhead scrub) and CC SA (continues acne control) for the morning, and St. Ives for the evening SA scrub.

In all honesty, this is working so much for me that I actually LOOK FOWARD, eagerly, like a kid (I know, I'm a doofus!) to washing my face at night.

I use both the SA and BP scrubs both morning and night, it's just at night I use the St. Ives SA scrub due to the need for slightly more exfoliation after a day's worth of sweaty work. I also might add that I have skin of steel - BP and exfoliation don't irratate my skin too much, but I still only use the St. Ives scrub at night, since it is slightly harsher than the Clean and Clear Blackhead Scrub.

A month into this and I'm swearing by it. This may not work for everyone, but it gave me a formula to experiment with, and it's worked for me.

I was not going to bother to reply, but Botchla's regimen is great. I am the mom of a 12 yr. old girl, who has had acne for about 1 1/2 yrs. now. We have tried everything and every doctor. Two weeks ago, her acne had become so inflamed from what the doctor had recently prescribed along with everything else we tried that I couldnt stand to look at this child beautiful face destroyed by acne. I'll tell you it was worse after we started going to the doctor. I really thought she was going to start scarring, this child's face had becom so red. With no hope, I started searching another time on the internet and I saw all the postings to this particular regimen and deceided to have her try it. It has not even been two weeks yet and this child's face is almost completely clear, even all the redness. I really am not kidding. This worked greatly for us and I just hope it continues to do so. So, all she does is wash with SA (C&C brand) at nite and then the BP (C&C Brand) rite after that, leaving each one on for about 30 -45 secs before washing off. In the morning, she washed with the SA. Absolutely wonderful results. I am so pleased. The only reason I posted this is with the hope that it helps someone else.

I have something to add on all of the speculation that Botchla may be a paid advertiser for Clean and Clear.

So what? Isn't that sort of thing (advertising, in this case, by word of mouth) how we learn what kind of products that could help us are out there? AcneFree, Dan's Regimen, Pro-Activ, etc etc are ALL advertisements of sorts. If no one advertised what worked for them -

this site would be completely null, void, and useless.

It was wwwayy too drying....

plus I don't think I react well to SA

My regimen at the moment works wwway better.

I can see how this would work for others though, maybe oilier skin types.

Anyways, just wanted to put in my experience.

I have tried Botchla's regimen for the last 4 weeks and have DEFINITELY noticed results! I use the SA wash in the morning and the SA and BP wash in the evenings. My skin is 1000% clearer.

My background: I am 36 year old white male (from Italian descent) and have had acne since I was 14. After 25, I would mostly get acne where I shave and on the back of my neck, most likely from perspiration and not from hormones. I tried Cetaphil for a few weeks, and it didn't do jack squat. And that Cetaphil recommendation was from a beauty care manager at the local CVS. She told me not to do the SA/BP regimen (because she said it would be too rough on my skin) and to try the Cetaphil first.

Well after seeing that Cetaphil didn't work, I tried Botchla's SA/BP regimen and I can't believe how well it works. I have virtually no acne at all on my face and neck, and my wife and other family members have noticed my clear skin as well.

Thanks Botchla for this regimen! And no, I do not work for J&J. I am a regular average Joe Nobody office desk jockey...

I have been using the Botchula regimen for almost five months now, with slight adjustments. I use a BP gel at the end of the night, and also use a Clean and Clear Astringent in the mix.

But I say that this has worked wonders for me. And this really does work better the longer you use it.

My acne is fairly mild, so this may not work for everyone. But it's worked for me!

May work for other people, but didn't work for me. I gave it four weeks, and It just irritatted a broke out my skin. But then again, everyone is different right?

I just started this regimen about 2 weeks ago...

I didn't realise that clean&clear had salysic acid in it or i would not have used it with BP because of what people say about the over drying. BUT! using this face wash with bp ive gotten the best results than anything else, including Proactive, b5 all that jazz. Recently i tried using other face washes but leaves my skin more dry+flakey than when i use C&C w/ SA!

So in conclusion, these 2 chemicals or whatever you wanna call them together are ACNE KILLERS!

Great regimen!

Cheers, Dalsor. There have been some who have used this with disasterous results. It's all rather personalized, really. I have skin of steel - not at all sensative or easily irritated. That is an important thing to note.

Yeah BP + SA is a killer combination. I haven't tried this regimen, but I have used the BP cleanser followed by Clean & Clear's acne advantage spot treatment with 2% SA (I apply it some-what generously over my whole face) with great results.

Hmm... now that I think about it. I haven't really read anything about this regimen fully working.

I must say that I'm 14 and my face is looking worse than when I began. My forehead used to be clear and now it isn't. Granted, I've only been on this for 10 days. But still. My face was a lot clearer before when I just put on a generic 2.5%BP cream on and no moisturizer. Maybe I should go back to that... I'll stick it out with this regimen a little longer.

some people have an initial break out with SA. I remember thats how my forehead was too. so I stopped, and left it alone for months..

now im using sa again and im fine. it works great.

if youre good with sa and bp, this plan seems to work. but if your skin doesnt like either or one of the two, it wont work well.

personally my skin works well with both if its in small doses...so i might give it a shot.

Hey I know this thread hasn't had any replies lately but hopefully I can still get an answer.

I have one question:

Is it important to put it into your hand and rub into a lather in your hands and then apply to your face rather than the just applying to your face straight away?

If you're talking about the SA, I would say no (assuming your reffering to the same one as used in this regimen). But with the BP, I find it much easier and efficient to lather it in both hands, and then gently massage it all over your face, using gentle circular motions to sort of work it in. I did this regimen for about a year. It kept my acne under control, but never completely cleared it so I gave up.

Nearly, I just switched to Dan's Regimen (been on this board for 3 years I think, and only now I try it), and I have like 1 tiny zit left. The dryness is really kicking my ass though, I need to find a good moisturizer to take care of this.

Also, don't get me wrong, I loved Botchla's Reg. When I coupled it with oral antibiotics, I was always SOOOO close to being completely clear. Unfortunately, once the antibiotics stopped working, Botchla's could only keep so much acne at bay (without using any meds I have a moderate case). Anyways, Dan's is working fine right now, hopefully I'll be 100% soon.

Well, I switched to Clearasil sensitive skin like the first poster suggested, but all I've had is extremely dry flakey skin evey since! I usually have the oiliest skin on the planet and I've had to moisturize twice a day the last few days too. I think I'm gonna stop using it.

Anyone know of a good sensitive skin cleanser that won't break me out?

Does the CC Cleanaer make anybody elses face feel like its on fire for about three minutes. I actually kinda like the feeling, but I don't know if it's supposed to be happening.
