Day 9 - this seems to have no negative effect on my skin, no particular dryness, no initial breakout. While it hasn't cleared me up 100%, it seems to have the EXACT SAME EFFECT as the Pro-Activ (due to the similar contents, I believe). Therefore, I'm cancelling my Pro-Activ membership and I can comfertably continue to use this. It's waaay cheaper, for the same effect.

I've noticed my skin does not get near as oily in the middle of the day (a definate bonus for how sweaty my job makes me!) and keeps the worst of the acne at bay. I've noticed the zits I get heal faster. I've also noticed, in small bits and pieces every day, my skin tone is evening and getting smoother.

Has anyone used this regimen for a while and had negative results? I've been on it for a month and a half and it cleared my face for a week, then made it crap for the next and so on until eventually it just ruined my skin. So I decided to get off the regimen and now my skin is horrible. I dont get acne but I keep getting like red spots on my cheeks..looks like acne but it's not...it's flat and just red.

P.S. One thing that I've been doing lately is putting pure honey on my skin and it has been working really, really well....just a tip I wanted to share!

This is kinda off topic (botchlas) but has anyone heard or tried LIVER FLUSH?? I've tried every line of product even prescription creams such as RetinA, Tazorac and Clenia but nothing has ever worked...just made it worse.

I want to try the Liver flush but i'm too scared...I dont know of what but i just am.

It worked for awhile for me. First two weeks were GREAT after a bit of an initial breakout (which seemed like it was coming even before I started this), then kind of meh for the next 2, then the last 2 just got worse and worse until I was getting like 2 new plump and juicy pustules a day. I'm almost positive something in the washes was irritating or breakout out my skin even though I didn't really feel irritated.

I've been trying a dead skin theory since and using AHA stuff, a week or so in on that and my skin is doing great. After some crap that came in near my nose the first day I've only gotten 1 noticable whitehead and 1 blackhead thats like right on my lip which I try to avoid getting any meds on so it's understandable, a few tiny whiteheads which pretty much brushed right off and left no marks, and to top it all off my old big marks are fading super fast.

You guys are giving up way too easily. I'm on week 7 right now, and im looking 100% better. Up until just a couple weeks ago it appeared that there was hardly any change at all. I was getting a couple whiteheads every morning, but now I'm not really getting any new pimples except for the ones that I could feel under the skin a few weeks ago, they are starting to surface. Hopefully once these are gone i'll be in pretty good shape. In Botchlas original post he said the longer the better for this regime. I'm hoping that at month 3 i'll be 100% clear.

Btw this is the best regimine ever because I dont have to leave shit on my face all day. I never have to worry about reaplying anything durring the day. I like to play a lot of sports and I sweat a lot and with thoes perscription meds it always made my face sting when it was sweaty. Not anymore. Give this regimine more time, its awesome.

good call, Crackers. I've been on this for almost 3 weeks and I like it. It's waaay cheaper than alot of other things, and it feels good. The acne is clearing up - taking it's time, but it's clearing up. I still get the occasional small breakout - but I think that's more hormonal than anything else.

I think I'm coming to the realization that outside of a complete and absolute diet/lifestyle overhaul (I do believe many of those 'naturual diet regime's work, I just don't want to do them!), nothing will make it 100% better immediatly. BUT - this is far more than tolerable price-wise and seems to be working day by day. This is only for me (I'm also finding out how PERSONALIZED skin care is!), but I believe others may have similar results.

Sometimes, the best things come to those who wait.

Yeah this reg takes some time. This is my second time on and today is day 9 and I am having a really bad breakout, but I know its because my pores are clearing out. What I do like about this regimen, is that once you do have a breakout it does clear it up sooner than later.

Ah I've been sick in the past 2 days and had to stopped the regimen for like 2 days and then did it, and then skipped another day. Now I am completely cleared of my fever but I hope I haven't done too much dmg to my face. I've been going back on now.

Do you think I kind of weakened the effect of the regimen?

I'vd tried this three times...SA sucks for me.

2nd round 6weeks

Last round 3weeks

Everytime same results, looks good, gets bad. Gets bette, and then worse again. I've since stopped and have never looked back.

Ok guys I just got back from the derm IN TEARS. He was such as asshole to me (sorry about tbe language). First he claims that no matter what u use to wash your face, your acne wont get better because it's hormonal. So I asked him why does he prescribe topical meds if they are not going to do anything and he claimed that they open up your pores in order for the dirt to come out..WHATEVER lol

THEN, I asked him if the liver could have anything to do with acne and that a lot of people do the "liver flush" and he LAUGHED AT ME..seriously. He just started laughing and said...listen to this.. TO GET EDUCATED ABOUT MY PROBLEM!!! And I said to him THAT"S WHY I ASKED YOU SINCE I AM NOT A DOCTOR

He said that ACCUTANE would make my skin 100% clear and that it's the ONLY thing that will clear up my acne completely but he won't prescribe it to me because i'm not the right candidate. I asked him what the side effects of accutane were and he replied "I won't discuss this with you because you are not going to be on it so dont worry about it..I dont want to waste my time"

I was on this regimen for a month and a half ..did nothing but cause damage BUT according to my derm..it's not possible since topical meds/products DO NOT CAUSE OR FIX ACNE!!

And he claims ACCUTANE is a miracle drug (his exact words) which cures acne but I actually know two people who have been on accutane and still have acne!

What did he prescribe that fucked up your face? I was on Tazorac and Clenia but didn't do shit so now I'm tetracycline and clenia.

first the "in office chepar retin a " for 30 bux in a generic tube with penciled in label

then the extremelly fucked up benzoyl peroxide that must have had some other chemcial in it

so then they said i need a corrective facial

well than her stupid loop hol extractor left me with a face full of scars i wish i can ruin their stupid ' skin care salon thing' they just wanted to seel a bunch of bull shit all the ladies who came in ther had fucked up skin

Hmm... now that I think about it. I haven't really read anything about this regimen fully working.

I must say that I'm 14 and my face is looking worse than when I began. My forehead used to be clear and now it isn't. Granted, I've only been on this for 10 days. But still. My face was a lot clearer before when I just put on a generic 2.5%BP cream on and no moisturizer. Maybe I should go back to that... I'll stick it out with this regimen a little longer.

This is working for me. I have decided to cut back to just one squirt of lotion in the morning instead of two.

Not 100%. But definatly clearer than I was on the Pro Activ.

Has anyone with minor acne tried just the C&C continuous care wash?

This didn't work for me I tried it for about 5 months and in fact entirely ruined my face

this doesnt sound that promsing to me eihter - after reading ALL THE PAGES for a whole week - i would defintaly say it doesnt work. and i dont want the menthol irritating my skin either- what a waste of money - cant belive i bought these 2 products now im never gonn uase it
