Haha, yeah now I have to use makeup too. It's just to cover all the shit thats coming out of my face. Hopfully in a week or so it'll be gone. Anyway, with botchla's regimen, nature's cure pills and B5 I think this should be gone soon.

Hi, I started using Blotcha's regime 2 and half weeks ago. It seems to be working as my face has cleared up quite a bit but not completely and it looks its worst when I've been out for the whole day and haven't washed my face yet. I will continue to try them for another few weeks and will post and update later.

this regimen seems to be working pretty good for me, using both products twice a day. it's only been a week but I haven't had an initial breakout and my face definitely seems to be clearing up a little. I'm going to wait about a month to see what happens, and probably add that alpha hydrox lotion in for the red marks

Forehead is clear.. NO BUMPS and zits...ALL GONE but shitty cheeks still have bumps. As of now, I have TWO zits on my left cheek and like 5-6 bumps and on my right cheek I have two scars and like 10 or so skin colored bumps. THEY ARE DRIVING ME NUTS!!! I seriously dont know what to do with them..it's been over three weeks since they first started appearing. I usually have them on my forehead but never on my cheek but there I go.....I get one part of my face clear and usually the rest blows up in zits or "bumps"....crap!

P.S. Since I've been on this regimen my skin hasn't been oily or shiny..looks good so far but I will probably jinx it now

Anyone have any other method of curing these damn "comedonal acne"/bumps???

I'm dying to try this regimen... but I just fear its going to be WAY to harsh. Even after washing with just the Original Dove Bar, my face feels a little tight. Anyone with dry cheeks/slightly oily T-Zone try this?

My face hasn't felt better in ages...in texture. I was really oily in my T zones but dry in my cheeks. I feel like this regimen has balanced my skin.

Using Salicylic Acid and B.P for your acne means you are on stage 1 and 3 , so if u are lucky and your skin only has that problem you would be lucky enough to be cured from acne. your post needs more information, you should know all the stages of acne and tell ppl which product is for what category of acne, just cause it worked for ya majically doesn't mean is going to work for everyone. Everyone has a different stage and some are lucky enough to get the right products for that specific need of a stage.

I've been on this regimen for about 3 weeks now, and I'm getting much clearer now. I have pretty much no active pimples as of now, just red marks (which will hopfully fade in time.)

One question I have, is that do you think replacing the CnC Blackhead Scrub with this (click here) [Edited link out] would be a good idea? This product seems more appropriate for all acne instead of just blackheads. I ask because I have to go buy more in about a week or so, but I'm not sure which one...

I used to have that too, but I threw it away...

I think I might try instead when I have to restock, and I think it'll be fine (it's CnC and has 2% salicylic acid, so its basically the same.)

Why change to that if it is unprooven?

I've been on the reccomended products for a week now and have seen improovments that I didn't expect (considering I've been using SA and BP products for years and have never been clear), and its just getting better every day.

I've been on this regimen for 3 weeks. My first couple days I saw improvements but then I broke out as hell. Second week I was finally close to being clear and now my third week...broke out as hell but still, I'm sticking with it!!!!

Oh i have totalllly annoyed myself ! I was going really well with the Clean and Clear although things started to get a bit worse again - for some reason i started using the proactiv travel pack i had lying around once my Clean and Clear was running out - and then i really liked the proactive lotion.

Now I dont know if its cause I stopped Clean and Clear and moved more onto the Proactiv - but my skin just got worse and worse, nearly putting me back at square one before the Clean and Clear routine started up in September.

I have now rushed out and grabbed more Clean and Clear and i will never stray again !!!!!!!

Well, I have been on this regimen now for exactly 19 days. I am about 95% clear now, only 2 new zits (which promptly disappeared) in the last 3 days. This is coming from someone who was on Dan's regimen for 2 months with no results.

Just like other people were saying, there is a initial worsening period, which was slight for me, and then it gets rapidly better.

Now the question is if it will stay this good, or heaven forbid, get even better. I'll make sure I post here again in the next couple of weeks.

Well, here's my experience:

I guess I had mild to medium acne. I used the SA and BP for about 3 months, pretty much every day. In the beginning, there was a lot of breaking out, and there wasn't much improvement. I kept using it though. After about two months, I had less acne appearing, but there was still a lot to go. Around the three month mark, I was satisfied with the results. So I started to use the BP every two or three days. I would still use the SA everyday, and I would still get a little acne here or there. And for the last two months, I haven't used BP at all, since I have very little acne, and if it does appear, it's usually not that noticable, and goes away in a few days.

I do have quite a bit of scars from the BP usage, but overall, I'm glad I tried this system, and am very satisfied with the results.

I agree with using BP and SA. In my regime the BP cream has a moisturizing base so it doesn't seem to overdry and I only apply it to any remaining pimples or to areas where I am prone to breakouts (chin & jawline). I get my dose of SA from a really cool mask (Clear Masque... regime deets below) that I apply every 2-3 days... goes on like a gel and stays that way while providing a mild heating sensation. So far so good.......

i've actually been on this regimen for 6 months now, and to be honest, i don't know if i has helped much. my acne is mild, but it is persistent. i'd usually have 1 or 2 pimples at any given time and red marks. the longest i've stayed clear was for about a week... then i'd get another pimple. i just had a break out last week and i'm recovering from that. also, i've noticed that i stopped getting pimples in areas where i used to:my forehead. i recently have been getting pimples in areas where i was once clear: my lower cheeks. there are possible reasons as to why botchlas regimen didnt work so well for me:

-i wash my face too much. about 3 times a day. when i get home from work or school in the middle of the day i usually wash my face to get the makeup off. my face gets pretty dry and i dont moisturize.

-i irritate my skin by overdrying, that is why i get pimples in areas where i used to not. because thsoe areas were not oily and acne prone, i made it acne prone by scrubbing it too much.

-i use the clinique acne solutions concealer to cover redmarks. sometimes i notice that i get new zits in areas where i use the concealer, so the concealer might be causing me to break out.

thats all i can think of for now. here is what ill do:

-continue on with botchlas, but make some modifications. i will start using LESS of the cleanser. i will only use the blackhead scrub in the day and the BP wash at night and try to wash my face no more than 3 times a day.

-when i apply concealer, ill be careful to keep it to a minimum.

-ill keep my hands and cleansers away from the areas where i was once clear and see if it'll clear up.

i hope this will work... if not, i'm moving on to a new regimen.

Botchla's deals with active acne and tries to prevent further acne after a while, just like Dan's. It's not really meant for red spots, any regimen with BP in it is not really meant for red spots. Red spots (leftover from OLD acne) should be dealt with in other ways, BP can possibly prolong the healing process in this case.

I'm not sure what treatment Delnas is, but I think its meant specifically for red spots isn't it? (Is that the egg white + vinegar regimen?)

Personally, I'm doing this regimen and am going to continue doing so until I'm sure that I've grown out of acne (if I do)... I may move on to something less extreme of course someday. But I'm not going to accelerate the fading of my red spots most likely, too much of a hassle for me...

BP fades my red spots..it actually bleeches your skin

If I go tanning and use a BP cleanser, my tan will just fade and I will be pale as a ghost but anyways....BP helps with my red marks
