Well you know if nothing clears you up. It doesnt hurt to try new products. There are a bunch of salicylic acid treatments out there that might help ya and if those dont then you could always book a derm appointment and go on accutane. Even though some of the side effects of accutane arent pleasant it will clear up the acne really good. I am also in the same boat the bp is working great for the acne but it just drys my skin up which I think looks even worse then having acne. Having these huge white flakes all over and barelly able to open my mouth when I eat its terrible. So I am going to switch to S.A product. And if that doesnt work then I am going to go on accutane. good luck man peace.

Ok, I visited the store today and managed to find C&C Blackhead Clearing Scrub (SA ingredient).

I couldn't find the C&C continuous control cleanser (BP) though... all I could find was C&C continuous control wash (SA). BTW they had TONS of C&C bottles, most of them look almost identical and all say they treat acne.. Hmm I wonder what is the difference in all of these? Seems strange the same company (johnson & johnson) would make many different bottles with seemingly the same ingredient in them. All had SA in them. I live in the USA. Going to visit another store tomorrow and hopefully get the right stuff with BP in it.

One thing I noticed is that in all of the success stories on this thread very few seem to have much luck with it with cystic acne, and that is what I have the worst off. Right now I have 4 large cysts of it on my face. They are awful. Nothing has worked well for me yet (can't get and try accutane). My hopes aren't too high, but I will be giving this regimen a shot and report here how it goes for me in the next few weeks.. cross your fingers for me!

So far I've tried: Retin A, SA, BP, neutrogena, clean and clear, loreal pure zone, proactive, supplements, clearasil, aveno, phisoderm (?spelling?), clear tone, clinique, vichy, nivea, st. ives, other loreal products, origins, and every other regimen known under the sun..NOTHINGGGG works.

If I went to the derm he/she would NEVER prescribe accutane. I dont have severe acne to begin with. Right now, I have two zits and that is it. BUT then I have about 50 bumps all over my face. And when I do get a zit it turns purple and leaves deep scars that last forever. My entire face looks discolored from one freakin zit...

First BePimples 1. you are to young to give up and 2. could not have tried everything. I have had acne for 15 years and only now have found what worked for me. Dont be discouraged though I didnt have this site and was gullible to the sales pitches.

Now on to your bumps. I have the same problem, flesh/white/black colored bumps that stay for months/years and if you muck withem they turn feral.

Here is what I did, I hope it helps, I list them as they dont seem to be in your list. A warning though I have some tuff skin.

1.Oral Antibiotics

2.differin

3.Night cream containing 10% AHA, 2% SA and 1% retinol (not retin)

Plus the normal cleansers and masks etc

This is very aggressive method and the first 2 weeks I didnt think I would stop purging, but I did and for the first time ever my chin and forehead are smooth.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

Tracey

hey davii,

I had the exact same experience as u, yesterday was week 5 and i am completely clear. My face was pretty much clear before i started botchla's because i was on dan's but i couldnt spend the time doing it. I switched to botchla's and started getting breakouts worse than ever before in my entire life. I woke up yesterday morning, looked in the mirror and i had absolutely no acne, (usually i get white heads or a few small red ones over night). But my face is great. There are still red marks but they are fading. Its important that other people realize they shouldnt stop if its been 2 or 3 weeks and they are still breaking out.

this sounds good and I'm definitely gonna try it, I just have one question. wouldn't the BP wash bleach your eyebrows, or get in your eyes?

I use a BP wash and I never get it in my eyes...just be careful and keep your eyes closed when you use it. My eyebrows have also not bleached...though I notice that every so often my hair does, but that could just be due to the fact that my hair naturally bleaches itself under sun (which basically gives me free highlights, even if I don't want them ^_^)

I've been on the regimen two weeks. I want to stay on it but I'm just too afraid. My skin is getting worse and worse. The Loreal Pure zone worked great...cleared me up but after using it for months it made my face hell. I had these huge swellings under my eyes and enlarged pores. My skin was very oily in that area and I had big red bumps. Once I stopped using it, the skin went back to normal. With Botchals my face was actually getting better the first week but now it's hell. The same thing is happening as with the Pure zone product. This morning I woke up and cried for about 2 hours. I refused to have breakfast with my family because I looked so disgusting. I have to go back to college tomorrow but I refuse to. I'm really desperate...I even thought about quitting school. I just hate to go outside and have people look at me. I hate it!!!

BePimpled, firstly I know how it feels to have a pimply face and be so imbarrased to not want to go to school, I even wagged afew classes just cause of them... I hate pimples and also I hated not being able to look a person in the eye cause you were so embarresed he/she was looking at your pimples it was humiliating and annoying...

Back then I didnt even know of this site!!! now I do and with this regimine I'm able to go around and not be worried about my face as much, but since I was always hiding and such im very shy, but when all my pimples are gone I believe I'll be much more open to going out and such!! and this regimine looks like it can do the trick, Im on week 4 and 1/2 and so far so good, week 2-3 were very bad, worse then when I first started but after that prepare for a nice change and alot of pimple clearing.

This should really go in the emo forum, but I will put it here and you can start one there.

Do you really care what people think of you? I mean think about it, these people will go on living their lives with out a second thought to you. They will get marred, have babies and live happy lives while you obsess over people who could not care less about you.

Do you want to be a check out girl all your life, do you want to pick up other peoples dinner plates, cause if you do thats fine, the world needs waitresses. In fact I did it while getting through school.

You need to re-arrange your priorities. Love who you are, hold your head high.

I was a model before my face decided to blow up!!!! It's just upsetting that nothing is working. And the last post WAS about this regimen....it's making my breakouts worse with time.

Upsetting I can understand I have been there and I feel your pain, but to give up on yourself to even let this disease come into making life changing decisions will lead you to where you dont want to go.

You were a model before but now you have a chance to be something else, anything you want if you dont classify your looks as who you are. Something will work for you it takes time, and that is on your side.

I may be off here so someone correct me if i'm wrong..

But I think it is much harder on your skin if you just try treatments for a few days and then quit whenever you go through the initial 'worsening' phase of the acne.. I haven't done this but i've been using bp periodically like every few months.. a few months on, a few months off, and I think my acne is worse because of that, and because of that I have started getting a lot of scars. Because what happens is it brings all of them to the surface when you start using it, and then you stop... and you have to go through the whole ordeal next time around. I think if you stick to treatments for a good amount of time, like at least 3-4 weeks before giving up, it is better. And perhaps continue using bp/sa even if just in small amounts daily just so you don't have to go through that intial break out phase again if you come across a new regimen to try....

acne is diet related, with the wrong diet and even the right topical reigmen you will get no where.

Hey do you guys think adding nature's cure pills to this regimen would be a good idea? As i've said I'm breaking out really bad right now and I'd hate to get more cleansers/gels for my face since it can irritate it more, but yet I want to clear this shit up fast.

darkarchon,

the same thing happened to me, i was breaking out worse than ever before up untill week 4. I'm telling you stick with it. I just finished week 5 and have one very small white head. Everyone who has stuck with it past 4 weeks has seen success. Don't give up now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm using the pills right now along the regimen. It seems to be working better for me but dont use the bp lotion that comes with it. It dries your skin like a MOTHER!!!

Alright, thanks a lot guys! I'm definitely going to stick with this for at least 3 months, and hopfully my breakout will fade soon! I'll probably throw the nature's cure cream out, since its useless anyway.

another thing, does anyone using this stuff feel like little beads in the SA scrub are ripping your face apart? I'm used to being really gentle with everything I do with my face and these things seem to be pretty rough on the skin, my acne is pretty red and seems irrated when I get out of the shower. I'm not really rubbing it on too hard, I guess I can go a little lighter, but it still seems like something that would really irrate the skin. what does everyone else think?

You can get the pills at like CVS or even walmart..i think. They are not even that expensive. I got mines at CVS for $9.99 and a coupon of $2 came with it. I love the pills. I'm finally seeing improvement with the pills and the regimen. My face isn't oily at all and God knows how oily it was before. Zaleski, if you have REALLY, REALLY oily skin I would recommend that you apply a TINY (i'm being serious about that) layer of the bp lotion, that comes with it , to your face. You can also go to www.drugstore.com and check out the reviews. It has some great reviews. Some people with really severe acne have noted that it didn't do anything for them but it's worth a try, huh? Oh if you do get them, just make sure that you chew the pills very good and let them dissolve in your mouth before you swallow them. And dont worry, the pills have no taste so it's not disgusting or anything.

Anyways, I really urge anyone with mild to moderate acne to try the Nature's Cure (two part acne treatment). It has NO side effects and if it doesn't work you will get your money back....doesn't get better than this style_emoticons/

Oh by the way, I'm also using Neutrogena Multivitamin lotion with SA. I use it at night as a moisturizer and during the day with a moisturizer. It dries up acne really fast and fades red marks....I think I have FINALLy found something that works and I am going to stick with it for atleast two months no matter what!!! Anyways, here's a summary of my regimen

Morning

C&C SA wash + Neutrogena MV lotion + Nivea oil free moisturizer + Nature's cure pill

Evening

C&C Sa wash

C&C bp wash

neutrogena MV lotion

Nature's cure pill

Oh and a make up tip for girls.....Loreal Feel Naturale light softening one-step makeup is the BEST make up out there. It has such good coverage and you can't even tell that you are wearing any make up. I dont use much of it but after I put it on my face looks flawless and it doesn't get oily at all....thought I'll share it with ya
