so i should rub them in my skin real good, so they go in my pores, right? is that how it works? if it is then good cause i hate leaving creams on my face and i get all greasy and stuff. this really does look like the thing that will help me get some decent looking skin. FINALLY! i'm sure you know this by now but Botchla, your the man!

ps. wow neosporin really is good for my face too, getting rid of the redness i got from leaving the cream on for too long, it only took about a day to really work for me. neosporin and the clean and clear creams is all i need now i guess, yahoo!

Hey all, I'm on my fifth day of the regimen, and I'm almost totally clear! It's unbelievable. I still have red marks, so it looks like I have pimples on my cheek, but my skin is smooth, no bumps. Hopefully it'll clear up the red marks soon. I started using the SA and BP twice a day, instead of just the Scrub in the morning, then both at night. It hasn't irritated my skin at all.

Overall, this has been a phenomenal success, time to return those unopened Proactiv kits!

Thank you so much, Botchla, I don't know if you read this anymore, but you have given me something I have been trying to achieve for years, and I finally can get some confidence. Maybe I can ask out that girl I mentioned earlier, now that my face doesn't look like ass!

Thanks again man, this stuff is the best.

Well I'm just finishing Day 3 and my skin is still bumpy on my cheeks where i have blackheads at. I have to red spots on my face where i think some new pimples are coming in, i hope not. There's a lot of little white heads sprouting up around my face like other people mentioned so hopefully they'll be gone in a few days. I really hope my face is as successful as everyone elses, i hope my skin will be clear in 5 days...

Drewboo...DONT FORGET TO PUT SUNSCREEN since now you are using Bp wash 2 times a day!!!! It even says so on teh back of the Bp tube. Ur face is very sensitive to the sun now...

HERE IS A VERY GOOD SITE THAT EXPLAINS BP [Edited link out]

arggg my face kinda blew up in the last two days after being on the regimin for a little over 3 weeks.....is this regimin not right for me?

could it still be part of the initial breakout?

It could be apart of your initial breakout, if you haven't used Sa with Bp before then your skin will need to get used to it. Give it a month and see how it works for you. I didn't use either wash in the morning, I dont want to go to school with a dry face.. I used both Sa and Bp twice and I rubbed them in for a good minute pretty hard. Dont leave on

Ok so I tried it. I have always been allergic to BP..but I tried it anyways. Yeah, my face turned red like it always does after I use BP.

Should I keep using it? Will my face eventually stop turing red..and get used to it? Or should I switch to a milder BP wash? Like 2%. Can anyone suggest a wash??? HELP.

unless its really painful and swelling id stick with it.....i was red at first, and one time it even felt like my face was burning off.....but i stuck with it and ive got a little more used to it

but then again im no doctor but i doubt you are allergic if all you do is turn red....thats normal

Oddly enough, I use the BP two times a day, and my face has actually stayed just as oily as before. Am I the only one who has experienced NO dryness whatsoever?

I'm not complaining, everything else made my skin feel like crap afterwards. This stuff lets me go through the day without an oily substance melting on my face all day.

I'm a bit worried, though, because my class is going on a trip to the lake for a weekend; I'm scared I'll get roasted. Hopefully that will not be the case...

hey everyone. this is my first post but ive been reading for a while now. ive had acne for about 14 years now. ive tried just about everything at least twice (save accutane). the same seems to happen: ill get clear for a week then ill start getting pimples again. its like my pimples can adapt to just about any medication. i have tried the regimen and that was good for the first two weeks. then slowly but surely the acne started coming back. until finally it was just as bad as when i started. so after about 2 weeks of cleared skin and 6 1/2 weeks of the same old broken out skin i thought to myself "sheesh i could have the broken out face WITHOUT having to do this" so i began the daunting task of finding yet another means to clear my face. after droning through pages and pages of this and many other forums i found this thread. all at once it hit me; what have i been doing since ive had acne? treating it; which for me means leaving gunk all over my face for the better portion of the day. the answer was so clear and in my face (or rather ON my face) that i couldnt see it. im sure many people know how that goes. leaving all that stuff all over my face was just not helping at all!!! now im not a scientist or a doctor but for how long can bp be effective on your skin????? your sebaceous glands are gonna keeping pumping out oil no matter what you do right (your face HAS to have some sort of lubrication). so to me bp is effective when you put it on and shortly afterward. after that oil is produced and on top of that you have a thick layer of bp and whatever moisturizer your using (if any). now maybe im just talking out of my @$$, i dunno, but it just seems logical to me that having excess stuff on your face all day long is not gonna help anything. botchla hits it right on the head. the VERY FIRST DAY of using this regimen my skin felt amazingly better. why? cause i wasnt walking around all day with all that gook on my face. now im not gonna tell you that i cleared up the 2nd day. before i started this regimen i was coming home with at least 10 new (mostly tiny pimples) on the "T" area of my face. the 2nd day of botchla's regimen i came home with almost no new pimples and the pimples i had were receding. there was WAY less oil on my face and my skin just generally looked better. now the bad part of it was that at first my skin was really tingly and seemingly a little drier which im still trying to figure out. i was using less bp and still was only using the 2.5. i wasnt dry before when i was plastering the stuff all over my face so it would stand to reason that with your pores WIDE OPEN after washing the bp is getting deeper and working better. now the story of my acne and the war ive waged against it to retake my face has been one of constant fighting with my side being made up of tiny little rebellions here and there that ultimately get squashed by the acne overloardian. it goes like this: i find something new, i try it, it works for a while, then acne comes to reclaim the little ground that i gain. so why is this exciting for me???? two reasons: 1st im using the LEAST MEDS EVER and getting the best results. my guess is because its going to where its needed and the excess isnt left to befoul my pores. 2nd my skin looks better now WITH the acne that i have then it ever did without it. that is to say that it looks healthy. ive never achieved any of these results to this degree with other meds. i am still a bit skeptical. not enough time has passed to call it a complete success. but when the weeks roll by ill keep posting. ive also just ordered Mandelic acid. dont know if i have to leave this stuff on all night or if i can do like the bp and just wash it off after use, but ill search the forums and see. if i do i might have to rethink using it or maybe using it every other night. well, thanks for your time every one. and the best of luck to you all.

I haven't used one.. and my skin has been the same as ever (does that mean i have always had dry skin?) ALSO, my skin has started to "peel" lately.. but not so badly.. do I really need to get one?? and if so any suggestions?! PLZZZ AND THANK YOU!!

I believe this is day 7 of my treatment, and I have experienced a huge improvement. I have no more pimples on my face. I still have red marks and scarring, but the only actual pimple I have is one that never surfaced. It's near my mouth on the right side, but it's already going away without even fully forming.

This stuff is amazing. Just amazing.

One thing I recommend doing. When you use the Blackhead Scrub, rinse your face off, but don't dry it. Immediately apply the Continuous Control Cleanser while your face is wet, rather than patting dry like the regimen says. The BP soaks in more when your face is wet because the water thins it out a bit. You can work it into your pores more efficiently. Only pat your face dry when you finish completely. It's doing wonders for me.

I live in Europe. Is there any place on line that delivers? I got the blackhead stuff, but not the BP product.

update: its been like 4 or 5 days now and my face has started to peal. no biggie. my face was really dry on using dans regimen right before i switched, so i was kinda expecting it (my face usually peeled like once every 3 weeks on the other regimen). pimples have still been sparse; maybe 2 or 3 tiny ones. what i have noticed was amazing (i amaze easily) after a wash i can see all the little pores on my nose pushing oil (the thick white kind) out of my nose!!! my nose, which has ALWAYS been a huge problem area for me is exceptionally clearer since i started. once again i must say im still a bit skeptical just because of the way my skin is (see last post on this thread) and the true test of this regimen on me will be after the 2 week period. but i must add that no other treatment has given me these results and have the most hope ive had since my dad gave me my first tube of clearisil. the peal isnt anywhere as irritating as before and peals usually take some darker areas with it so im REALLY cool with that. will start posting on the botchla regimen from now on so drop in there to see how its going. take care and good luck to everyone.

My face keeps getting better. I think I'm at 8 or 9 days now, and I only have ONE actual bump on my face! It's below my chin on the jawline, so you can't even see it. It's also healing nicely.

I had about 15 active pimples when I first started.

Now, I just have to keep using this until my red marks go away. I dunno how long it will take, but damn this regimen is the one! Thank you so much Botchla, I can finally ask a good girl friend of mine out without worrying about my giant red, bulbous, oily pimples being a sickening distraction. I've also noticed people talking to me more. I guess my natural sexiness has been revealed at last.

Anyway, thank you again and again, you've made me so happy. I... I love you.

hmmmm im still not clear with this regimin, after 26 days

i still get some stuff on my forehead, occasionally very small whiteheads on my chin, and i have a pimple on my nose right now

should i continue this regimin? like does it sometimes take 2 months to get completely clear? or after like 4 weeks if its not making you clear it jsut doesnt work for you?

how long should i try this regimin for before giving up?

nothing has cleared me up and kept me clear. right now im pushing my first week and with new treatments usually ill start breaking out again after two weeks. if another week rolls by and im still clear my advise to you (like im someone important) would be to stick it out for a little while longer.

Time for Accutane?

Time for Accutane?

if you were talking to me, accutane is not an option at this point for me....i wouldnt even consider it because ive heard of bad side effects and my acne is pretty mild.....im not even sure if its worth going to a dermatologist for

but still, it doesnt seem as though tyhis regimin is clearing me after 27 days, it seems pretty much the same as before i started the regimin

maybe i should try dans? i just cant imagine having all that bp on my face all day though! i would think it would make my face feel all gross....do you get used to all the bp on your face?

or i could make my own regimin......maybe sa cleaner and bp cleaner and moisturizer in the morning, and then sa cleaner and APPLY 2.5 bp all over the face at night and mousturize....does this sound good? the applied bp at night would be like dans, and the bp cleanser in the morning would be like blotchlas, so i wouldnt have bp on all day, just at night

How long are you washing? Describe how your washing and how you dry, also make sure not to touch your face to often, a little bit is ok but alot will get your skin oily.

I just bought the two products and I already did the SA wash earlier today. But for today and yesterday my face has like an itchy rash on it and I think it's probably because of this exfoliant from Dermalogica that I used. It worked fine for me the first time I used it but then I just started getting itchy the 2nd time after which is like a week after. I dunno if it's an allergic reaction or anything cuz its only itchy on my face... Does anyone think these C&C products will help this go away soon? Or will it just go away if I just stay away from that exfoliant? I hope it will be just a phase...

Oh yeah I forgot to add. I used this exfoliant like 2 years after I got it just to see how it would work...heh I guess that was a mistake cuz it probably expired. Well I've certainly learned my lesson

I just ordered my stuff. It should be here in about three days or so. I hope it works!! I'm tired of shelling out all the dough for ProActiv to have it only sort of work.

At this point, it probably won't get any worse and it's cheaper than most other alternatives. Gonna give it a shot.
