Ok so i finall got the Clean & Clear Acne Cleanser. So can anyone just tell me when i use both products at night do i apply them together in the same wash, also i heard it takes round about a month to see results, but if these products do clear you 100% do you have to carry on using them or is that it then YOUR CURED. Its just im a bit worried that 10%BP might do some long term damage to my skin > Can anyone confirm this please!

no buddy there's no cure for acne. this regimen is great at allowing u to keep the acne under control untill u grow out of it.

i've been applying both products at the same time on my face and leaving it for 1 min, just once a day and it seems to be working better then applying the SA first then the BP

So do you know if the BP will cause long term skin damage!

Ok, I have bought these two products and have been using them for few months ( I have long experience with pimples and tried everything including 2 cycles of Accutane!), this regimen with Clean and Clear keeps me at bay.. .. I also apply 10% BP gel on the spots at nights if I feel that they are going to come out. ( I buy either oxy10 or equate or Panoxyl, I have found that Panoxil is less irritating and I can apply it to the larger area at night without getting my face too dry). And I use products 2X a day.

I see that you guys are discussing about putting both products at once, I am not sure if they are not interfering?? Does someone know?? It would save me sometime if I do it at once. Now I try to keep the scrub a bit longer in the shower ( like while I am applying conditioner to my hair- more than I minute). The recommendations for these two particular products have really saved me a lot of frustration, because after I was done with Accutane for the second time, the pimples started again within 2 month!!!! Like I never took that damn accutane!! About the treatment that is promoted on this website ( I mean the Neutrogena 2.5%BP- that treatment irritated my skin horribly, but it cleared, but I couldn't take it for more than two weeks- thanks to C&C!!)

I'm new these boards, but have tried using Dans method for clearing acne. My skin couldn't handle that much BPeroxide. So I broke down and went to a dermatologist for antibiotics. I asked him if large amounts of BPeroxide had any negative effects on the skin. He told me that BPeroxide has been determined safe by the FDA. He went on to say that BPeroxide in large doses, over an extended period of time, can oxidize the skin. Kinda like the way weather will oxidize metal and cause rust. This oxidization (sp?) of the skin leads to premature aging....i.e., wrinkles. Add to that, most people do not use an SPF every day, and as a result are at more risk of skin damage.

To make a long story even longer.....the antibiotics did not help. Now I'm trying the C&C regimen. UGH!

added B5 into the regimen. can't tell if my skin is clearing because of the B5, since my skin has always been fairly inconsistent- some good days, some pretty bad.

recommended moisturizer: fruit of the earth 100% aloe vera gel. my skin is still slightly dry because it's so darn cold outside, but it does a good job making red marks go away faster, too.

Botchla: I have a question and if you aren't here to answer it maybe someone else can... You say to wash with SA after shaving your face, but do you then put on aftershave after the SA?

Does anyone have really oily skin but has found a moisturizer that keeps it at bay? Im using Eucerin Daily Control and Care but i always get oily. The number one reason i have acne is clogged pores and i think if i can stop my face from being oily i can prevent some of the stuff that blackheads are made of from ever being created in my skin. Ive been using this regimen but I need to stop this oil before i can get 100% clear. Please help and recommend me a good light moisturizer.

I LOVE the Clean and Clear shine free moisturizer (non-medicated, comes in a tube). I have terribly oily skin and this is nice and light, but still moisturizes. I use it day and night.

About vinegar: It burned my skin so badly! Pain, pain, redness and pain! Plus it stinks. I would not recommend that method to anyone. I don't know why it got such great reviews in the forum about it...

And lastly, what's the BEST sunscreen out there? Something readily available, not too pricey, won't cause breakouts, not a bit oily...Anyone?

I use lancome vinefit cool gel moisturiser, it has grapeseed extract and its more like a light cream but it's oil free and hydrates my face nicely without oiliness, it feels really refreshing and smooth on my skin. only downside is it's a little expensive, about $40 US

Go to your local healthfood store and purchase Nature's Gate Dry Sportblock SPF30. It dries matte, does not leave a whitish cast to your skin, costs about $6 to $8 bucks depending on where you get it and if they don't have it they can order it for you. Also, I have problems with sunscreen making my eyes water....I can apply this under my eyes and even on my eyelids without that problem. (I hate greasy sunscreen. )

Does anyone know what this website is that delivers C+C internationally??

While on Botchla's regimen, what do you people do during the day after you workout/sweat? (i.e. shower? just pat dry?) After you swim? (simply just pat dry?) When it rains or snows?

I'm in australia so I couldn't get the c&c bp 10% one so I got benzac AC wash bp 5% instead. Jus started today, using it the way u people have suggested (with the c&c blackhead cleanser) and seems to be pretty good. Hopefully the benzac will do just as well.

well my 2 cents;

this stuff hasn't had to many great results , Ive read through nearly all the responses and it seems theres 4 or 5 people that broke out in a rash or it was too harsh for their skin. I thought this was going to be great stuff and my face broke out in about 12 really sore pimples across my chin and jawline. I feel so gross and disappointed. this is good stuff if you can handle it but if you have sensitive skin like mine then beware..stick with the gentle cleansers and 2.5% like in Dan's.

I've been on Dan's regime since December, and it has got me 80% clear...(good stuff), but im sick of spending nearly an hour with the regime....wash, wait 10minutes, rubbing in bp forever, wait 20mins, moisturise, wait 15mins, makeup.

also, ive got lots of flaky skin, still, and there is only so much taping my skin can take.

im not too easily irrtated, but my skin sheads easily, so hopefully the scrub should take care of that.

im really hoping this will take me that 20% closer to perfection.

i will get the supplies and give it a month or two.

i can always use a bit of leftover quinoderm bp on active spots. that has seemed to work for some, and i like the idea of the sa wash, i have used the L'oreal one which is nice.

There must be something to it, this thread is huge, some hype!

fingers crossed. [-o<

For the people who live outside the US, these products can be bought online at www.medshopexpress.com.

well, i live in the uk, and i found the SA wash easily enough, but the BP wash doesnt seem to be available.

and there is no way on God's green earth i am paying the international shipping charge that^ site wants, the product is four times the price with the shipping!

does any one know of any sites that ship to the UK without ripping me off?

or if i cant get the clean and clear, is there another suitable 10% BP wash i can try?

thanx.

Does anyone know if it's ok to add an exfoliate to this regimen? Possibly papaya soap or a St. ives scrub? :-k
