wet my face with warm/slightly hot water. wash with the C&C blackhead clearing scrub (salicylic acid), massage around/into my face for about 45 seconds to a minute. wash it off. immediately apply the C&C continuous control (benzoyl peroxide) and GENTLY massage that into your face for about 30 seconds to 45 seconds, then wash it off. pat dry with a clean towel=D>

I've used both products now for 2 weeks, and unfortunatly can't say that it has helped me. I think it has only made things a little worse.
But I'm patient about it, and continuing for a few weeks.
I have been on it since yesterday and i can tell there is a difference. My skni is softer and the spos are starting to heal by the look of it!
so how many ppl have success wit hthis regime?
I think this is my 4th week on it.
Before I started this regimen, I got these twin zits on my cheeks (I was on dan's regimen), and so I went on this regimen to see if it would have better results than dan's regimen.
What I find is that this regimen helps control outbreaks, but it doesn't do a good job with existing zits. It takes longer for existing zits to go away, but after I went on this regimen, I haven't gotten any new ones, or I should say, no zits, but only small little ones that goes away very quickly.
I would suggest doing this regimen along with spot treatments of BP.

Botchla, I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but what are your thoughts on this regimen + parts of the Proactiv regimen? I was thinking of washing with the C&C Blackhead Clearing Scrub, and then the Proactiv BP wash, then applying the toner in the morning. And at night repeat all of that and apply the BP lotion as the last step. I have already been trying your regimen for my chest/back but haven't seen results yet, and am considering buying some Mandelic Acid to apply to these areas after the regimen at night. Anyone, post thoughts please 8-[
I've been using the proactiv repairing lotion in the morning after washing with the C&C SA wash then at night use both C&C washes. It's been working very well for me. The only problem I could see with using the proactiv BP wash is that since it is also designed to exfoliate the combination of the SA wash and this might be too irritating (two exfoliating washes are probably overkill).
I think the repairing lotion is the most effective part of the proactiv system and ever since I've been using it with the C&C stuff my skin has remained clear with no new pimples for about 2 weeks now. You may want to give that a try.
Raw, ive been doing the same exact thing!
In the morning i just use the blackhead scrub, then the bp lotion, at night i use both washes and the bp lotion. A little drying but very very mild.. its been working great too.
Im thinking of using mandelic once my skin is more used to this regimen so i can fade the marks etc.
The cleanser in this regimen has salicylic acid, right? My derm recommended something called "SalAc" a while ago, but it was too drying for my skin in addition to everything else I was using. It's OTC, but you have to ask for it from the pharmacist (still no prescription needed). It's just a simple 2.5% Salicylic Acid cleanser with nothing else in it. I think it costs about $8 and it lasts me a long time. I just started using it again because I stopped all the other (Retin-A, Clindamyacin, etc), though it's still a bit drying. Anyway, I like it just because it's salicylic acid and nothing else - so has anyone else heard of / tried it?
Hi, I just started this regime about a week ago.
I have done everything imaginable to help with my acne but nothing has helped. I did Dan's regime and was cleared about 80% but didn't like all that BP on my face. I recently also did the acne cure and did not have much success. I was taking Doryx for about 3-6 months and stopped it before I did the acne cure... I had the worst break out ever. Not sure if it was the Cure or stopping the med's. Anyway my face looks really horrible now.
I had some success using bp one night and then differin another.. but it didn't stop everything.
I have decided to try this regime and have been using the two C&C products. I had been using the C&C acne foaming face wash for the "Cure" and really liked it. I now use Boltcha's products in the morning and the foaming face wash at night (it get's my makeup off much better). They both have SA in it and the foaming is oil free.. so I don't think there should be much difference from Boltcha's regime.
Anyway I also am using differin every night to see if I can speed up my recovery and stop the breakouts.
I will let everyone know about my success (keep your finger's crossed!)
Yeah yeah.. so i'm trying this crap too. lol So far i'm using the neutrogena oil-free acne wash in place of the blackhead clearing scrub because I need to get back to the store again. How are you guys finding the blackhead clearing one? Ok? What about for semi-sensitive skin?
Tnks,

ok , this regimen is working great for me , but i still have those red marks , i was wondering if u know if its ok to use the C&C moisturizer https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000052YJM/ after u use the products. maybe it would help blemsih those red marks.
I'm currently on Dan's regimen, which has done pretty good things for my face. I'm going snowboarding next week, and I know the minute I get some snow in my face it'll turn ghost white from the moisturizer and bp. I'm wondering if I should try Botchla's regimen, just for the week that I am snowboarding, and if it works, maybe for good... hmm. Plus I'm gonna be sleeping in the same room as some laaaadies and I don't wanna have white crap all over my face. Any suggestions/opinions about Botchla's regimen and its effectiveness? (short term and long term) Thanks.
yeah the downside the Dan's regime is that white crap on the face
when i play ball and forget to wash it off, i look like a freak.
i'm currently on proactiv, and i'm thinking of going onto this regime also.
its nice and cheap and it seems to work..
as for you , i suggest that u only use the regime during the night
jcp9- How severe is your acne? I agree with SCAR, maybe use the bp only at night and during the day you could spot-treat. When are you going away or whatever? Because I don't think using the different stuff would be a good idea right when you go, because your skin may not take well to it. You could get used to it now if you have enough time before you go (plus the bp). Good luck & let us know!

Thanks for the replies guys. The trip is on Friday. My acne is not severe at the moment, knock on wood, pretty mild (1-2 zits, sometimes none at all) but it has the tendency to get sort of severe i.e. a few weeks ago I had 3 cysts (the first time I think I had cysts in my life!) but was able to drain them and they were gone in a few days, I think it might have been caused by just starting Eucerin Renewal. Yeah Scar, I was at the haircutter one time and a drop of water went down my face from the spray bottle, obviously leaving a white streak, and the lady absolutely freaked out! I felt like crap lol.
Also I've been on Minocycline for like 15 months and it hasn't cleared me completely, so maybe that's an indication to the severity of my acne. So I don't know, that's why I'm so worried. I think that the idea of going on the regimen at night is kind of risky, but the spot treating may help a bit. I agree that doing the Botchla regimen during the day in concert with Dan's would probably screw me over (as I haven't touched Salicylic Acid in a while), so I was thinking maybe I could just do the Continuous Control Cleanser (BP) during the day and then Dan's at night? I just tried the Continuous Control thing on my forehead last night, it actually seemed less drying than my normal soap (cetaphil bar). So that could be an option, but I'm also worried about needing sunscreen during the day as the UV rays are pretty strong from the reflected sunlight off the snow. Thanks.
Does anyone's face burn when you put on the C&C BP wash? I can only stand to have it on for about 30 secs. Then my face is very red for about 30 minutes afterwards.
Is this normal or should I not be using the BP wash. My face is usually pretty tough. I have used 10% bp cream before.
Could it be the menthol in the wash that is doing the burning. Isn't that what makes the tingeling sensation?
Any ideas would be helpful.
