Pros:

Light weigh
Fast working
Exteamily effective
Attractive packaging
Moneys worth

Cons:

Greesy apperiance
Comes out a bit quick

so i have spent the past near enough 4 years of my life suffering from spots thanks to stress and purely because of my teenage years, which has resulted in me having to spend most of my income on different make up products to cover up these yuckie things! ive tried so many different brands to help my skin but not ever truly works that well, and if it does, its never for long term! and then i came across bio oil! i first started using it after my 3rd degree burns healed up as they left me with some very nasty scars, then one day thought, why not try it on my face? so i did, and its the best thing i have ever done! yes, it does look very greesy when applied and can last a while, but when your in the comfort of your home does it really matter?! i would rather have a nice cosey night in throughout the week so by the time the weekend comes i can be a step closer to the flawless skin everyone is dying to achive! i did find that the substance came out the bottle at a rather rapid speed, but it just means you have to be careful with how you choose to apply it! i extreamily recomend for anyone who suffers from spots or has any nasty scars, because this stuff really has worked mirricals with me!!!

Pros:

-Smooths out skin
-Clears acne marks (Hyper-pigmentation)
-Prevents acne from forming

Cons:

-Leaves skin slightly greasy after a couple of hours of use.

This product has done wonders! After using Acne.org's Acne products, I was finally able to get rid of my acne. However, I still noticed I had marks left from the acne. I decided to give Elicina a chance and after a couple of weeks ,y skin has drastically gotten better. Acne stopped forming and my skin became smother and clearer. I def. recommend it. Not to mentioned I skipped a few days between then and now. If would have kept it consistent my skin would have probably been much better. P.S. Don't let the small size of the product fool ya..It goes a long way! I bought mine 2 month's ago and I still have more than half left.

Pros:

Serum works well with my oily skin, doesnt clog pores. Using along with rolling to repair damage on my skin. So far so good, going to up the CP strength with my next purchase.

Cons:

Broke out initially when skin was not used to this.

I believe that CP along with consistent work, will be able to remove the damages and scars on my face!

Pros:

Concha de Perlop bleaching cream: Immediately brightened my skin and made it feel very soft! I think it is slowly starting to fade my dark spots.

Cons:

Texture is a little weird - but nothing that bad, just a bit of a gritty texture.

LOVE this product! And it is so cheap! Definitely worth a try - I think everyone should at least try this out to see if it works for them. I am very excited about how it has been working for me.

Mineral oil
This product has mineral oil in it, which is highly comedogenic (clogs pores --> more acne). Take hormone balancing supplements instead such as DIM, and Vitamin A to reduce oiliness of your skin. Evening Primrose is also good for women (hormone balancing). Drinking a lot of water with these is essential because excess hormones will be flushed out of your organism with these vitamins.

Wrong! Mineral oil has the lowest comedogenic rating - 0. Source -> https://[link removed]

Pros:

Works well on newly formed scars/marks!
Used it once before and really helped diminish my acne mark, now using it to diminish a minor burn mark :/
Accidents happen right? That's why we have products like this haha!

Cons:

Time, Time heals all they say! DO NOT pick at the scar while it is trying to heal, otherwise it will get worse or take even longer to heal (learned from experience)

This product is great. I bought the one with SPF because it is simply worth it. The one with skin protection helps your guarantee you will not permanently discolor your scar. I actually did not buy it for acne this time, I have before and it healed one of my scars beautifully I bought it because I put a new product on a little part of my face and it literally chemically burned it! I am now left with this hideous minor burn, but this should really help it heal faster and better. Do not get Neosporin, Neosporin has an ingredient in it that can cause break outs and irritate the skin, Mederma should not do that at all.

Pros:

Reduced redness AT FIRST
Smells nice
Little goes a long way
Can wear under makeup

Cons:

Cost
Itchy skin
(used for acne scars) Caused a bad bumpy rash all over my face after about 3 weeks. The redness that disappeared after 3 weeks returned 10 fold. My face hurts and feels burnt and looks worse than it did before. I'm so disappointed. :(

Be careful with this product. I can't recommend it, sadly.

Pros:

Lightens skin, evens skintone
Fades marks
SMOOTH texture
Skin GLOWS
Rinses off easily
No down-time
Skin left soft, not dry
Heals actives quickly
Has helped treat my stubborn jawline acne!

Cons:

as if.

Ok: Concha Nacar de Perlop, Bleach Cream no. 3. 6 bucks at Walmart for 2 oz. Short list of ingredients, all effective. Let me put it this way: 9 years of acne and thousands of dollars into skincare, and the best mask I have used is this cheap 6 dollar cream. My average mask used to be $60 dollars per 2 oz. I only wish I had tried it sooner. Only been a week and my skin is now 90% clear. Yeah, that pretty much speaks for itself.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
