Sulfur is the best for clear complexion!
I love this product! Sulfur does wonders for me. If you follow these simple steps every time I promise you'll have a wonderfully clear complexion with no break outs at all. It's simple I use only 3 products. First step is to use the Joesoef Skin care sulfur soap, leave on a couple minutes then wash away with warm water, next step use their Sulfur lotion 6.6% on your problem skin area with a q-tip. Every couple of days or 1x a week I use the DDF sulfur mask. The results is amazing. What I love about these sulfur products is it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry like most acne treatment products do and the smell is not intense. Best of all Sulfur is all natural from volcanic rock. Try it out for yourself and you be the judge. Great for small pimples
I purchased this product about a month ago. I use it for small red marks. l dip a qtip into the bottle and spot treat overnight. After about 3 nights the pimple is gone! It's so great! The best part about this product is it does not dry out my face. My only complaint is that it's pink and stands out against my skin. It can rub off at night so be warned you may want to sleep with a towel over your pillow.

Still going strong after a year of use
I love sulfur! For me it has been the only acne treatment to work longer then 3 months. (OTC or prescription) I switched to this sulfur product after the De La Cruz brand sulfur started adding a fragrance that irritated my skin. It contains niacinamide too and it has faded my old red spots substantially, one right between my eyes had been there for 8 years and is about 75% gone at this point. Its sold as a concentrate so you can adjust the strength, I mix it 50/50 with water and its still double the strength of any sulfur or niacinamide product Ive seen for sale thus far.

Totally dried me out and caused some breakouts. I was also using the kavi salicylic acid peel so I'm not sure which one I got the breakout from but definitely dissapointed. The reviews on here were really good so I was hopeful

favorite colloidal sulfur, less irritating on skin than the other version of KAVI soap

Pros:

no smell, good lather, washes off easy
does not dry or irritate my skin type like other sulfure products tend to do

Cons:

costly, only available through online purchace
I'm forced to buy it in bulk of 12 bars but it lasts me forever

This is my primary acne treatment product! I no longer use prescription creams like I did for a decade. I use this once a day, every day but instructions say to wash twice a day, but I'm lazy with my skin regimen these days. This bar works for me well as breakout prevention. My skin stays mostly clear, but occasional breaks out do occur and I'll use more potent Coral Kavi and even spot treatments. You need to give a few months to see effects. Sulfur purges your skin by removing surface layer and initially it may look like it's breaking you out more. Don't forget to moisturize your skin after washing!

Pros:

Skin soft

Cons:

Seems to be clogging my pores and causing break outs

I have been using this product for a week. During the first 2-3 days, everything seemed ok. However a couple of days ago, I started to experience break outs that I normally do not have. I noticed excessive clogged pores and blackheads as well. I am quite disappointed as I thought this would help to prevent acne.

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.

Red flags:
