Perfect spot treatment

Pros:

Works overnight!
Helps my redness
Clears and closes pores

Honestly, the 3-step proactive system is bull honkey'" never worked for me, or a lot of people! This mask, however, is heaven sent. It is not for people who have very dry or brittle skin though, because it dries the skin out, that's how it works! I personally have medium to oily skin and tend to get a few bad pimples every month. I also have pretty bad black heads. I usually scrub my nose where most of my blackheads reside and put the mask in a thin later covering my nose. I go to bed, wake up, wash it off, and it's like my nose doesn't even HAVE pores. It sucks everything right out and closes the pores. I also put it on deep pimples to draw them out, or on the large painful ones to shrink them. It never dries my skin out because I do have oily skin. It also helps with my redness. I love using this overnight mask to treat problem pimples fast. My favorite acne product.

Pros:

I had a huge pimple on my chin. The first night, I put some toothpaste on it, went to sleep, and woke up with the pimple bigger and redder. The second night, I used the Proactiv Refining Mask. It was completely gone in the morning.

Cons:

It's a little hard to rub off, but just take a shower and it will go away.

You should definitely get the Proactiv Refining Mask. Of all of the products and home remedies I have tried, this is by far the best and fastest working.

Pros:

**in reference to this product as a spot treatment!**

-Reduces swelling.
-Reduces redness.
-Makes zits dry up fast.
-Helps soothe painful zits.

Cons:

-If you use too much too, or too often, it will dry your skin pretty bad.
-Hard to wash off.

This product has been my best buddy for a long time. It works great, it's fast and effective. I recommend using it after applying moisturizer, so that your skin doesn't dry up. Because I've learned that if my skin gets dry, I break out! But overall, I LOVE this stuff!

Pros:

Dries out pimples quickly, can be used as a spot treatment AND a mask, absorbs excess oils, controls oil, softens skin, good consistency.

Cons:

Sulfur smell.

I don't use this on a regular basis. I mostly use it as a spot treatment to heal pimples overnight. When I do use it as a mask, it does a really great job of getting rid of oiliness, and it keeps my face pretty matte for a while. I definitely recommend it.

Probably the best proactiv product

Pros:

Reduces redness/irritation
Evens skin tone
Makes skin feel smooth

Cons:

Smelly
Time consuming to use
Doesn't help a lot with whiteheads or blackheads

Proactiv hasn't really worked very well for me, even though I continue to use it because it at least manages my acne when it gets really bad. I have moderate acne, and incredibly dry skin. I use this after I've washed my face in the shower (I'm lazy) and then apply it. It also helps if you take a towel and run it under hot, but not burning water and wipe your face for a few minutes first to help wipe away anything that might still be on my face and open my pores. I use a fairly thick later over my entire face about 2-3 times a week (or more if I'm breaking out pretty bad or I'm feeling less lazy) and leave it on from 15-45 minutes. It says to leave on for 10-15 minutes but I feel that it works better if you leave it on for longer. I'm a zit-picker (which I know doesn't help, trying to break the habit lol), so if I've been picking at my face or have any red, inflamed areas, it takes it away. It really does calm your face down quite a bit. I feel like my skin is more even toned and I think it helps heal my zits quicker, because they seem to go away a few days after, rather than sticking around for a week. It does kinda dry your skin out after rinsing it off, but you're supposed to use the revitalizing toner right after which helps. Using a moisturizer also is useful after using this product. So basically, if I'm breaking out a lot or half a lot of inflammation, it helps. It doesn't completely clear my skin, but it makes it look better. I do recommend this product, even though it's pretty stinky lol.

Pros:

--Even reduces size of pimples UNDER the surface layer
--reduces redness & size of pimples overnight!

Cons:

none! :)

I use this for spot treatment whenever I go to bed--Just put a liberal amount over affected areas & I see a HUGE difference in the morning. Couldn't live without this product!! (I've used this product for over 5 YEARS & it has never failed me yet!!!)

Pros:

-Made my skin smoother.
-Cleared up a few of my smaller zits.
-Reduced the redness of my zits.
-Awesome spot treatment or mask :)

Cons:

-Sulfur smells funky.
-Do NOT leave the mask on overnight, it'll make your face all red the next day. If you want to use it overnight, use as spot treatment.

Fantastic spot treatment, not too expensive and it lasts a long time.

Pros:

-Dries out cysts
-Minimizes appearance of pores
-Cleans gunk out of pores
-Smooths skin

Cons:

-Odor.Bad,BUT if you have acne, the odor will not bother you as you'll just want to get rid of acne

I use it 2x a week, and as a overnight spot treatment. For me,I personally have cysts(pus filled),whiteheads and blackheads. This works good for whiteheads/cysts,and I also happen to have oily skin with large pores,so it helped minimize the appearance of my large pores, and it isn't over drying.I definitely recommend this to people with whiteheads, cysts or large pores.I got this in the $5.99 offer from ProActiv,so I got the whole set for $5.99
