Pros:

Only product that has worked for me in 10 years of fighting cystic acne.

Cons:

None that I've noticed.

I used to have super oily skin and after accutane it subsided along with the acne, but a couple of years later, the acne came back with a vengeance. My skin doesn't get as oily anymore, but ever since finding Coral Kavi, the acne is slowly but surely losing the battle. I still get breakouts and I'm actively working to find a way to stop those from occuring as well. Acne.org and Kavi forums have a great list of recommendations I've been working through. If you haven't found a solution yet, try this product. I'm currently using it with the salicylic acid peel. One more note, I told my derm's office about Kavi and relieved them of their services in the same phone call. If they don't know what works but are happy to keep taking my money, they can find someone else to bilk.

Pros:

10 years and thousands of dollars of treatment and it all came down to a $6 bar of soap? Forget the oil companies.. someone should do an expose of the great con perpetrated on the american people by big pharma.

Cons:

I should have done my own research sooner.

Pros:

I've been 90% acne free for 14 months and counting.

Cons:

Zero.

I'm 31 years old and have been suffering from acne since I was about 16. I remember my first year in college thinking my acne would clear up by the summer in time for going to the beach without the 150 to 200 or so cysts on my upper back. Well, my "teen" acne never cleared up, even with Accutane, ProActiv, and every prescription med out there until I spent $25 on three little pink bars. I don't know why I tried it and I didn't know about acne.org. It was like God was finally taking mercy on me. And from the second I felt tingling on my back from the soap, I felt this jolt go through me like this one was going to work. Next morning, I swear the red death on my back was looking different. Two days later, there was definitely a difference. I looked at my back with a hand mirror every 6 hours that first month, and last summer was my first summer at the beach since I was 15. I'd gone 16 years without the feeling of sand between my toes and saltwater on my lips because of dermatologists who want to prescribe expensive treatments and nonsense that doesn't work. If you've given up, you need to try this bar. I do not work for KAVI or anything like that so please do not call my story fake. Good luck and god bless. P.S. I also use their Toner, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and SPF. All great products.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Simply didn't work. Tried it for months, and it did nothing for my acne. Ordered extra stuff from the company to supplement my treatment to no avail.

The reviews on this website for Kavi seem too good to be true, and I'm guessing that's the case -- they're not from real customers.

Pros:

Reduction in oil production
Clearing acne
Gentle
Inexpensive

Cons:

Have to order online

I have been struggling for adult acne for the past four years, which frustrated me to no end as I was relatively clear through my teenage years. I am also a skin picker, so the bad breakouts only got worse and worse. I had been at wit's end, until I recieved the KAVI Coral... AMAZING! After trying everything, including the extremely pricey EPIONCE brand products sold to me by a derm, all I needed was this little pink bar and a good non-comodegenic moisturizer. Who knew it could be so simple? Results: Immediately upon usage, your skins feels tights and really CLEANSED, but not overdry. Now, nearly a month later, I am seeing a drastic improvement in my skin. In fact, I have actually gone three days now without a pimple popping up. That is incredible to me, as new pimples were a daily occurrence for me before. Without new blemishes, I have no reason to pick. Now all I need to do is sit back and wait for the old stuff to heal up. To speed the scar and dead skin removal, I have been using a Salicytic Acid Peel 20% once a week (BEWARE: very drying at first, but your skin will get used to it). If you want to give the Coral KAVI a try, but don't want to start with three bars, you can buy them individually on Amazon. That's what I did, but now I wish I would have ordered at least three! Still, as I said, I have been using this product for nearly a month, and I still have about 80% of the bar left, even with 2x + daily washes. Some people may find it pricey for "just a bar of soap", but TRUST ME, it's not. For $8 or less a bar, you can't find a better cleanser for oily/combo, acne-prone skin.

Pros:

Powerful anti-acne, anti-oil cleanser.

Cons:

It doesn't come with a CD of the Ride of the Valkyries for you to play when you use it.

It works with a vengeance. I could see my skin drying out if I were taking minocyclene or still using BP. But it doesn't matter because I'm glad I don't have to use anything else.

Pros:

Soap lasts a while
Cleans skin

Cons:

Acne didn't clear
Ordering online

I have had pimples for about 10 years now. I didn't get real acne until last year. I've tried so many products, from proactiv to tretinoin. My skin continues to break out. I was only clear for about 2 months (except for scars left over from tretinoin) while using Bactrim- but antibiotics aren't a long term solution. I tried coral Kavi with high hopes. I went through 2 soap bars and nothing changed. My face was still shiny/oily in the day (and yes I washed face 2x daily). I still got big pimples. I was using it by itself for a month, and because no results were seen, I started using it together with BP. Still didn't clear up. Everyone's skin is different, so I would recommend trying it at least b/c of all the other good reviews. For me, this made no difference.

Pros:

Easy, inexpensive, natural, and it works, very good customer service

Cons:

None for me, and I checked to make sure there wasn't anything in the product that I might know I have an allergy to.

I got 3 bars of Coral Kavi for $18 a few months ago, and I'm just now onto the third bar. The soap has worked perfectly for me. I have oily skin and get a lot of break outs on my back and face. Since I started using the soap, my skin has gotten much better and new acne has disappeared. I use the soap once or twice a day and not more because it can make your skin dry. I prefer their natural approach to prescription chemicals. I would highly recommend it to anyone battling acne and looking for a natural alternative.

Pros:

I ordered the Anti-Acne Systems for Oily or Combination Skin, System III (which includes the Kavi Coral), $140 and two days later I began using Kavi. It has been 12 weeks and my skin is beautiful! All of my papules and pustules are healed, my blackheads and whiteheads are on their way out, and my skin is radiant!

Cons:

None really, spending $150-$200 for skincare may seem like a lot. But it is well worth it for results. The products last quite a while too. I am still on my first bar of soap, about ½ way through the toner, haven’t made a dent in any of the others and just reordered the moisturizer.

So these are the products I use, I ended up buying more than just System III: Morning: Wash with Coral Kavi Treat any problem spots with Kavi Complex P (this has BP and can dry your skin, use sparingly) Moisturize with Hyaluronic Acid 95 or if going outside with SPF 30 (my skin seems to get oily if I use both so I just pick one) Then apply make-up, I use bare minerals and it doesn't irritate my skin and keeps it glowing not oily Evening: Wash with Coral Kavi in the shower (I break out on my back before my period so I also wash my back) Get extra clean with the toner Apply Salicylic Acid 8 once/twice per week: 1st week: 30 seconds 2nd week: 60 seconds 3rd ' 9th week: 90 seconds 10th -11th week: twice per week Mondays and Thursdays for 90 seconds 12th week: let skin rest Moisturize with Hyaluronic Acid 95 Treat any problem spots with Kavi Organic Sulfur Suspension (you have to glob it on and it stays yellow so only use at night, works well and not too drying)

Pros:

No more oil, easy to use, takes off makeup nicely too.

Cons:

None so far!

Okay, this review might be a little premature, since I've only used the Coral Kavi twice (once last night and once this morning) but I'm so freaking excited about it that I had to comment. Normally by this time of day (1:30) I'd be a grease pit. I can usually fill up one of those Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets completely by mid afternoon. As of now, my skin has produced little to NO oil. This is coming from the oiliest person EVER. I haven't been using the Coral Kavi for long enough to attest to its acne-clearing powers, but as far as oil control, I've never tried anything better. I can't wait to see the results in my complexion in a few weeks. My acne is mild; so perhaps the people giving this negative reviews have worse problems than mine, but so far I LOVE this product. Buy it, buy it, buy it!!!
