Pros:

I love the tingling feeling when applied to the face and neck (makes me believe that it's fighting the few pimples I have) . I also appreciate that it's an oil free moisterizer. It's the only thing I put on my face before I go to work every morning.

Cons:

There is no SPF.

A great moisterizer.

Pros:

-wonderful cooling sensation, oil free, medicated, doesnt break me out, sanitary pump bottle, lightweight

Cons:

-you dont feel the cooling sensation after you use it for a while [lol, what? it feels nice], can take a while to sink in, small bottle

great moisturizer! it helps maintain my skin and doesnt make it worse. i used to use it morning and night but i have recently started to only use it at night becuse it has no spf and i found that it causes my foundation primer to ball up when i am applying it..which i have concluded is just the combo of this with my primer. other than that its great.not harsh at all. i have stopped using bp except only for spot treating once in a while (i use 5%) and this seems to keep my skin from breaking out just as well as bp but without gross dryness

Pros:

Pros:

Exfoilates

Cons:

Does not help with blackheads a bit and it stings

If your looking for a blackhead remover scrub DO NOT waste your money on this, your better off buying an offbrand one.

Pros:

a lot of product in the tube
...

Cons:

BURNS <-- because of the burning sensation the pimple turns red and this made me get a chemical burn. smells like alcohol, didn't see much of a difference even though it has all these claims. made me break out a couple days after. Irritates skin.

Spend your money on something else, personally neutrogena is a better company than clean and clear. I guess if you use it for a long time your skin will get used to it,adjust, and eventually work but that just shows they are advertising false claims.

Pros:

does lighten skin complexion

Cons:

caused more breakouts and very itchy on some parts of face.

I have used this for almost 2 months now and my skin went from ok to bad. I never used to get whiteheads and blackheads before using this moisturizer. When I used it the first week, i had numerous whiteheads on my cheeks - about 20 on each cheek. I thought my skin was just getting used to the moisturizer. Weeks passed and my whiteheads turned into bigger and painful papules.

Pros:

-Works
-Easy to use

Cons:

-Dries out skin
-Redness (sometimes)
-Makes skin peel
-Works same as other cheaper brands

This product works but the results are not as dramatic as the commercial said (you got to read the fine print....). Other brand like oxy works the same. If used before going to bed, the acne will not be as red.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
