Pros:

Clears up breakouts.

Cons:

Can be irritating to sensitive eyes. Use small swimmers goggles.

I posted in January, and am still using the product. It continues to improve my skin 95%. Because the benzoyl peroxide can bleach clothing I purchased some bundles of inexpensive, white, wash cloths. I rinse my face and then pat dry with a wash cloth. Then I apply it to my dry face, work it in thickly everywhere I might breakout, wait a minute or two, and then wipe it off with a white washcloth. Then I rinse my face thoroughly with warm water. I moisturize with Cetaphil lotion afterwards. My eyes are sensitive, so I picked up a pair of small swimmers goggles to use. It is worth it to me for the improvement in the breakouts. My skin is older and I found using the benzoyl peroxide creams too strong and drying at some point. I went through all kinds of other remedies with poor results before finding this wash. Leaving it on for a minute or two is just enough to keep my skin clear and rinsing it off and putting on the Cetaphil lotion keeps my skin from getting too dry.

Pros:

Acnefree cleared up about 75% of my acne and made the other 25% smaller and flatter. It really helped me to deal with my problem.

Cons:

It takes forever to put on and dries out my face a little.

This stuff WILL help your acne alot, but don't expect it to completely cure the symptoms of acne.

Pros:

very good product, seen results in just 2 days. skin was almost completely cleared in a week.

Cons:

dries up the skin very much.

Great product, fast results, skin dries up but not terribly bad. DO NOT USE PROACTIVE, I USED IT FOR 2 MONTHS AND SAW NO RESULTS!! I USED THIS PRODUCT FOR 2 DAYS AND SAW RESULTS, PROACTIVE IS AN OVERPRICED JOKE!!

Product used: The Regimen
Amazing
I received my acne.org regimen kit in the post about a week ago and I honestly haven't seen my skin this clear in the past 7 years. I am one of those people that is constantly thinking and being conscious about their skin whenever I was out or even just in the house looking in the mirror on my own, i haven't had clear skin in the past seven years although I have tried everything on my face, from dermabrasia to all the antibiotics and creams from the doctors and I even saw a private dermatologist but nothing ever worked. I don't write reviews but I have honestly never been happier with a product in a very long time. I use the regimen kit exactly how the instructions tell you to, i also purchased the jojoba oil because my eyes are very dry, my skin is either super dry or super oily and not much inbetween unfortunately but this has done wonders! My skin is so soft and smooth. Honestly if you have been struggling with skin troubles for a while and nothing has worked please give this a try, I know not everyone's skin is the same but it's definitely worth the risk and the money!!

Worse company ever
This is really bad company I ordered Proactiv last March and it said I suppose to get 3 installments and it's 75$ but however they send 3 kit by every other month and I thought I am done with paying with it but they charged money from my acc on August September and October I called customer care on September and I said I don't want items anymore and Plz stop charging my card and they said ok but next month they charged again and then I called my credit card and disputed payment and Proactiv start sending letters to me and it said I have past due of 75.36$ so however I had to pay double. Worse company ever I think I spent more than 200$ for 3 boxes

Could've been better.
This was what I used on my breakout days few months back. I sometimes question if it actually works lol... But it does "dry" it out at some point. I feel like this product has a mind of it's own haha. Only chooses which pimple deserves to die though my friend likes that it works for her but hates the part that it leaves a dark scar on her.

AMAZING
I am so happy with this system. After 5 years of suffering with moderate acne, I have finally found something which keeps it at bay. My skin is not totally clear YET, but after 3 months of using this it is a hell of a lot better than it was before. It reduces redness and makes skin tone look more even and clear. I still get spots, but they seem to disappear quickly and rarely leave a scar. I recommend everyone to try it even though it is quite expensive, but if it works, it's worth paying the price.

DON'T DO IT!!!
I tried this product out last night and woke up this morning with my entire face being BRIGHT RED. I spot treated the cream on only a few spots on my cheeks and chin but by the morning everything was inflamed all the way down to my lower neck!!!!.!!?? It itches and burns like crazy! And even worse I feel acne bumps coming up under the already inflamed skin!!! So not only do I have a rash, but I now have even more/worse acne than before. How pleasant. Just be careful before using this product!! :/

Did your red and puffiness ever go away?  I wish I would have researched before buying and using.  I got a ugly red spot under my eye from this and its puffy.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
