Pros:

It wasn't expensive and it worked within 4 days on me.

Cons:

After the first week it dried out my skin on one spot and not enough toner.

It started making the pimples not red after 4 days and I used a whole package and thats all it did.

Pros:

IT WORKS!....Customer service is beyond amazing! They not only mail the products well packaged and promptly they also send a friendly email on how to use the products and include samples from time to time. Loyal customer for over three years!

Cons:

They are the only reason I keep my ebay account.

I'm 34 years old..My adult acne that I thought I was going to have to live with after trying so many other products has disappeared and has stayed gone for over three years'. which is the amount of time I have been dedicated to these products. I receive complements on my skin often. Their customer service is truly a rare find' I was on eBay over three years ago desperately looking for something to cure my adult acne and I unknowingly ordered from a copycat company that never sent me my products 'PayPal was no help in recovering my money'..so I left them a really bad review'.I then received an email from Carley's Clear & Smooth explaining that the other company was a copycat company and that they would love to send me samples of their products for free to try out'they sent a gift package of their products which to my amazement cleared my skin and even seemed to erase the acne scars that had formed through the years! I cannot say enough good things about this company and

Pros:

the mask is AWESOME

Cons:

smell
inconsistent
drying

the mask is awesome and works immediately. I have been using this for about a year and it worked the first couple of months and then it stopped working. My acne never got worse but it didn't get better either. My face got VERY dry. Once i stopped using it and then tried to go back to it, it didn't work. In the summer after sweating and being in the pool, the product never worked again but the mask is definitely worth buying. I still buy it even though i dont buy the other products.

Pros:

It is a simple skin routine with great results. My skin always feels rejuvinated after I use it, never dry or irritated. This is the only product that I've ever really enjoyed using, and it actually works!

I've been using it for over a year now, and have had varying levels of success from month to month, and I've realized that it depends on the makeup I use. Now that I've finally found some makeup that doesn't irritate my skin, my skin is very happy with Clear & Smooth. Now I don't even feel like I have to wear make-up. I'm glad I stuck with the treatments even though I'd still have the occasional breakout, because now I don't even break out. (It took me almost 9 months to get to the point of consistency.) IT was worth the wait, and I will never go without it.

Pros:

Used in conjunction with Benzaclin, Tazorac, and Aczone. Works well.

Cons:

Expensive, even with insurance.

Good cleanser, a little on the expensive side but works for the price which is good.

Pros:

It made my skin feel smoother for a while and it also cleared my skin- for a while.

Cons:

To be honest, it made my skin worse. I have had problems with acne for 4 years and I thought it would help but It didn't. It made my skin peel and even after I stoped I had to put up with peeling skin and a very red irritated face for 2 months.

Maybe it works for people with light or moderate acne, but it didn't work for me. I regret using it now. The process of puting the medication on every morning and night does take up time. It can be a hassle if your someone who feels uncomfortable puting a cream on top of a cream. Like I said it did work for a while. It was slowly making my acne clear up and then two weeks later, it came back twice as bad. If it gets in your eyes it does irritate it. I would never use it again, but I did get my money back.

Pros:

You can see results within a week, the smell of the product does not stink and is actually refreshing, and it's reasonably priced.

Cons:

It dries out your skin a little bit and It will take a while for your skin to completely clear up.

Acne Free works really well! You just have to give it some time and your skin will clear up a ton, trust me. I've been using AcneFree for about a month and my skin is almost entirely clear of acne. The price of it is really reasonable too, especially if it works well.

Finding a Doctor

The right dermatologist can make a big difference to your patient experience and the success of your acne treatment plan. Here are the steps to find a dermatologist who is a good fit:

  1. Use the search feature on the American Academy of Dermatology website to look for board-certified dermatologists in your area, and filter the search results for doctors with a special interest in treating acne.
  2. Read online patient reviews of any dermatologists you are considering and ask people you know whether they have any experience with these dermatologists.
  3. Do your research and go to your first appointment with questions prepared.
  4. Listen to what your gut feeling tells you once you see a dermatologist in person. If you are not completely comfortable, try a different dermatologist.

Finding a Doctor

Only a select few plastic surgeons specialize in acne scar revision surgery. Be certain to find a provider who specializes in acne scar repair and who is passionate and experienced in this area.

Be sure to:

  • Look at before and after photos, the more the better, especially patients with similar scarring to your own.
  • Be realistic about results. Look for improvement, not a cure.

Questions to ask a potential scar revision specialist:

  • Are you board certified? Be certain that they are board certified.
  • How long have you been performing these procedures? Normally, the more experience the better, however, some younger surgeons may be more on top of the latest procedures.
  • Can I speak to some of your other patients? Ask for references for several patients who had similar scarring and speak to them about the process and their satisfaction with results.

Red flags:

  • Their story changes: As you discuss different treatment options, if they tend to change their mind easily, or agree with whatever you say, consider this a red flag. A confident, experienced surgeon will possess strong, unwavering opinions.
  • Your gut tells you "no": Trust your gut. If you just don't feel that the doctor is the right fit, trust that and move on. On the other hand, if you feel they are the perfect specialist for you, trust that feeling.
