Pros:

Works well as a toner, inexpensive, smooths skin.

Cons:

Hasn't made a different to my acne :(

I'll keep using it and hope its just taking awhile to clear my acne. Good as a toner.

Pros:

Cheap, Found in most stores, Sold in large bottles, All natural

Cons:

Has a funny smell-but this goes completely away as it dries

I found out about Witch Hazel on this site and decided to give it a try. Using it as my toner my skin feels very clean and I've noticed a slight improvement(a bit more of a 'glow')to my skin. This has not helped my acne, but I'm happy with what it has done on my blackheads. They appear a bit smaller and less noticeable. I use T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel which I found at Wal-Mart.

Wonderful toner!

Pros:

Cleanses
Leaves skin smooth
Light scent

Cons:

Drying (easily solved with any moisturizer)

This toner makes my skin glow and feel fresh! I use it twice a day after cleansing with Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar followed by moisturizing at nights with Now jojoba oil. For the day it leaves my skin prepped, smooth, and ready for makeup if I choose to wear it. At nights I moisturize because repetitive use of this product can be drying but it has not caused me any excessive peeling or dryness. I apply it with a cotton pad or ball and it always removes any remaining dirt or makeup left on my face left after washing. I love this product and am thankful I came across it, it has helped boost my regimens ability to improve my teenage acne.

Pros:

Bottle lasts long
Cheap
Makes skin soft
Helps with acne a little
Natural

Cons:

None really

I liked this product. I bought dickinsons all natural witch hazel and thought it did wonders for my oily skin. I used it with the body shops tea tree cleanser and aveeno positively radiant daily moisturizer. Wasn't a miracle product though.

Pros:

It visibly smooths out your skin tone and really makes your overall complexion look healthy and radiant. I have noticed right away that it really works a lot different and better than harsher face washes I've used before.

Cons:

When I first opened the bottle (The Dickinson's Witch Hazel) I almost threw up. I had to try not to gag when I applied it, and resorted to putting it on with vicks vapor rub under my nose at first. Its not bad after you've used it a few times.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to look fresh and had combo or oily skin. If you can deal with getting used to the scent, go for it!

Pros:

Works great for removing oil from skin and isn't overly harsh, like some prescription creme seems to be.

Cons:

Doesn't smell all that great, but its not awful.

Witch hazel has been the best thing I've ever done for my skin. Its worked better then every cream or gel I've tried....I use it together with my acne pills and I have very even skin! And its very affordable...a major plus for this college student :-)
