Pros:

Doesn't dry out my skin! Very gentle and works great!

Cons:

none

Very cheap and effective product. T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel is much better than the generic brands (believe it or not). I had been using Hannaford's brand with no good results then I bought Dickinson's which has an amazingly different effect on my face. Makes my face actually look 'dewy' and moisturized not dried out. I am very happy with this!!!

Pros:

This product does not irritate or burn my skin at all. It goes on cool like most toners and works incredibly on scars, cuts, and acne. After applying I've notice how smooth my skin feels.

Cons:

The smell really bothers me! I know most don't mind it, but I do. Because it works so good, I usually try not to smell it. I would plug my nose and use a nice but not too strong scented moisturizer afterward.

I bought my Witch Hazel toner from Sally's Beauty Supply. The name brand is "Beyond Belief - Skin Renew - Witch Hazel". I've notice a lot of change after changing toners. It works pretty well and my scars on the chin is disappearing! I would recommend the product even if it smells bad!

Pros:

I bought the TN Dickinson's for 2.39 at Harmon's. Yes, does smell a little but is a very gentle toner. Noticed less breakouts

Cons:

Does smell a bit

It works in reducing my pore size and I have less acne breakouts now than before.

Pros:

Doesn't dry out skin; makes skin feel soft; disinfects without being as harsh as alcohol; removes some redness; reduces inflammation; helps heal acne wounds faster.

Cons:

i'm not sure how it would work on really severe cystic acne. I have had hormonal acne for years, and this has really helped calm my skin down. I use it in addition to an exfoliant, an acne wash, and sometimes cetaphil, so the whole process is long.

I'd give it a try for how cheap it is. It's worth it. My skin reacts badly to Sacyclic (spelling?) acid, so I can't use many acne toners. Witch hazel isn't too harsh and doesn't irritate my skin, but still helps tone and cleanse it. I also use it when I've been sweating to make sure it doesn't clog my pores. I'd really give it a shot.

Pros:

Didn't irritate my overly sensitive skin, Removed surface makeup/dirt, Instantly tightened pores, Felt nice on skin, Made you feel like you were freshening up your face

Cons:

Sometimes too drying, Didn't really clear up acne or redness (it just didn't irritate it), Weird smell,

I'm still looking for an amazing toner that will actually start helping me fade red spots and reduce acne, but this wasn't the one. It's great cause it's non-irritating and natural, but it really didn't show a drastic improvement in my skin health. I'll probably keep using it cause it helps me take off makeup and remove oil and dirt.

Pros:

Cheap, gentle, effective

This stuff is great for everyone, but for me ACV is much better. ACV however can dry out the skin pretty bad for some people. Witch hazel is much more gentle.

Pros:

inexpensive
big bottle (lasts a very long time)
available at almost any supermarket in the first aid aisle

Cons:

Doesn't clear acne 100%

This is a great pick me up astringent for after the gym or for taking off makeup. While it has not completely cleared my acne, it has helped very much with inflammation and redness. I still get whiteheads and blackheads but it has decreased how often i get them. It feels very fresh when putting it on my face AM and PM.

Cons:

The smell is not pleasent at all. Because of the results I can definately get past this.

It's inexpensive and it really works. Also it's non-irritating.

Pros:

It doesn't Irritate the skin, you can use it as often as you want, it is also good for removing makeup, and a quick way to clean your face if you don't have time to thoroughly wash. Great stuff. It also works for insect bites.

Cons:

Smells bad, but you get used to it, and you can buy witch hazel with added scent.

It works, great for sensitive skin, I love it.
