Pros:

A great toner and natural.

Cons:

Honestly your face will smell like a portapotty for a few minutes until you moisturize.

The smell of T.N. Dickinsons is horrible, but you can deal with it to get good skin.

Pros:

Light, makes face feel super clean, reduces redness.

Cons:

Dosen't do much in reducing acne, smells HORRIBLE!!!!

I started using dickinson's witch hazel a few months ago and it does help reduce redness but dosen't help with acne itself. It smells HORRIBLE, but you don't notice it when it drys. It also makes your face feel clean and refreshed.

Pros:

clears my acne and prevents new acne from forming, works fast. and its way cheaper than the other stuff.

Cons:

none really, you cant notice the smell unless you put your nose on it. I am looking for something to rid the marks the acne has left me.

Works 90% of the time, during certain times of the month it works but i do get some acne not nearly as bad as it is with out the Witch Hazel. Does anyone have any advice about how to clear the marks from the acne???

Pros:

Inexpensive, accessible, natural, non-irritating

Cons:

The smell

I bought a big 16 oz. bottle of Dickinson's Witch Hazel at Wal-Mart for less than $3. I used to use Pro-Activ's toner, but I wanted to switch to something that was gentler and more effective, so I gave the witch hazel a shot. I have to say that I am not disappointed at all. I apply it with a cotton ball after washing my face twice a day, and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, not tight and dry. My breakouts have been minimized over the past week since I started using this stuff. The smell takes some getting used to (there are no added fragrances -- just the stinky smell of pure witch hazel!), but it's not really a big deal for me. It's a great astringent for those with oily and acne-prone complexions!

Pros:

lessen the redness of pimple
tightens pores
100% natural
Affordable/cheap
suitable for sensitive skin
doesn't dry

Cons:

bad smell
doesn't clear my small bumps (for now)

I use DICKINSON's Original Witch Hazel. It's 100% natural.. I've tried many products from highschool and it only irritated my skin. I spent too much time surfing in the net for the right product that will suit my sensitive, oily, acne prone skin.. and yes!! this is the one!! Skin toners are important. To refine the texture of the skin. The toner doesn't do the job in clearing my whiteheads and blackheads. I'm currently searching for a perfect and natural exfoliating facial wash.. Could you help me guys?? thanks a lot!! ^_^

Pros:

Its in my Proactive Toner and it seems to work pretty well.

Cons:

Stings when first using it but you bring up a resistance to the singing.

Great for keeping your pores open, recommended it for everyone!
