Pros:

cleared up my cystic acne
cheap
easy to get
has a lot of uses
can last a long time

Cons:

STANKS BIG TIME!!!

I have had bad acne for most of my life. I have tried everything under the sun and was tired of spending all of my hard earned $. I would rather shop with my $ :) I decided to try this and this ish worked!!! My acne got better overnight. I applied it directly to a cotton ball and QUICKLY wiped my face with it. Yes it burned, but oh well, who cares? CAUTION: Don't leave the cotton ball on one area too long. I did that the first time I used it and got an ugly burn scar. FOR THOSE WHO DON'T LIKE THE SMELL-HOLD YOUR BREATH FOR A FEW SECONDS WHILE YOU ARE APPLYING IT. That's what I do. Be creative people! I've never had consistent results with any other product (Neutrogena, Murad, Clean and Clear, facials, etc.) and not for this cheap price. My hormones are a hot mess and until I find a product to get them under control, I will continue to use ACV. I also used this on my natural, coily African American hair (along with a ton of conditioner & used as a detangler) and my hair shined and my curls popped! I am going to try it for weight loss for a few weeks and see what results I can get. Heck, I have a gallon sized bottle, why not try it for all the things people are suggesting? I still have to try the organic ACV with "Mother" in it. I heard this works even better. ***PLEASE TRY THIS IF YOU HAVE CYSTIC ACNE & YOU ARE AT YOUR WITS END! I KNOW IT CAN BE DEPRESSING- ESPECIALLY WHEN PEOPLE STARE AT YOUR ACNE AS THEY ARE TALKING TO YOU. HOW RUDE AND LOW- CLASS, RIGHT??!!

Pros:

It helps with EVERYTHING!

Cons:

of course the smell, and stings for just a second.

My skin is used to harsh chemicals, and i don't really have bad acne, but recently i broke out and did not do anything to fix it so it just got worse because of wearing make-up, well anyway i have been using this apple cider on my face and it has dried up the zits over night! its a miracle! i drink a shot a day, but i decided to put it on my face to see what would happen, then i googled it and other people do it to lol. it depends on how sensitive your skin is but i think in moderation this is a healthy safe way to cure acne and overall everything. Its nasty to drink but i have gotten used to it. And honestly i had a hugeeee stress bump (is what i call the cyst like zits) and it went away over night! i think for the people that have been breaking out more because of this product is either because they had an allergic reaction to the acidity, or because they where not informed that acne gets WORRSEEE before it gets better! once you treat it you will not see results untill 3 weeks, when you get a zit it is from whatever you did 3 WEEKS ago. my step mom works in the spa and taught me everything. Anyway you may not know it but you have bacteria under the skin and once you treat it all comes out at once, so give it time :)

Pros:

-Reduces acne very fast
-Exfoliates the skin
-Reduces Hyperpigmentation Scaring
-Reduces Redness
-Reduces Rolling and Boxcar Scars
-Very Cheap
-Readily Available

Cons:

-The Smell (That's a given I guess)
-Burns

This is a pure miracle. The time I first used ACV my skin was relatively clear from using my Regime (At this point I still had a lot of Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation scaring from the acne) -Cetaphil Cleanser -Panoxyl Aquagel 10% -CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion So I didn't think much of the benefits of continued use of ACV Sadly I ran out of money, I couldn't purchase any more Aquagel and I had exams on the horizon, so I got very stressed and broke out terribly. Without any Aquagel I tried to look for other quick remedies to quell the problem, bare in mind I still had a lot of PIH scaring I wanted to deal with too, while researching treatments I stumbled across Vinegar as a treatment for PIH as well as acne, this is because Vinegar contains Malic Acid which is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid, so it performs relatively similair to Glycolic Acid. Malic Acid speeds up the rate of exfoliation on your skin. So I decided to give Vinegar another chance, this time though I only had Malt Vinegar which I read was acceptable, and this time considering I had used distilled Vinegar before (2 parts water to 1 part ACV) I thought I would try the vinegar undistilled. Boy was I glad I tried this method again, this stuff is INSANE before I didn't have that much acne to try it on, but at full strength this stuff literally kills acne so fast it's unbelievable, it completely dries up spots, I apply this stuff and I can literally see the spot get much smaller within seconds after application. Sure it burns and can dry up skin (nothing a good moisturizer won't fix) but these are minor issues considering how well it deals with acne. Results on par with Tea Tree Oil. Before I never gave Vinegar a chance to help with my scars (I didn't know it worked for this) I'm a week in this time and the results are AMAZING!!! Redness has subsided almost 50%, 20% improvement on my dark spots my overall complexion has improved so much and this is in

Pros:

works great!!

Cons:

Stings a little and will leave face slightly red for about 20mins...this is just the ph balance of the skin working

Use as a toner morning and night leave on all day/ night. I use ACV bragg's, what this does is kills all the baterial that causes ance through the Acid...eventually pimples cannot form due to having no baterial!

Pros:

quick solution to clear acne

Cons:

a little stinky but doesn't bug me

I had gorgeous clear skin in my teens but once I hit my mid 20s my skin went haywire. I spent thousands on facials, peels, medications , fancy cleansing routines, vitamins, better eating habits, drinking more water than I think is in the Pacific and NOTHING I mean NOTHING worked. The only thing that slightly helped was steaming my face at home every night for ten minutes. Until my mom told me about ACV. She had used it when she was younger and said it helped so I should give it a go. I have been using it now for a week and haven't seen my skin this clear since I was in my early 20s. I am so excited to see the changes over the next several wks of usage. It is worth the try!!! It is cheap! I use a lot so I'm suspecting it will cost me roughly 10 dollars a month, it could be way less for others! :-)

Pros:

it just helps :)

Cons:

smell and taste, it stings a bit

I use a regular facewash 1-2 times a day and in the evenings I then use some apple cider vinegar like a tonic, I also use scrub 2 times a week. My face has not been so clear in years! For my sensitie/mixed skin, this is a great solution :D.

Pros:

Helps with red marks
brings cysts to a head faster
seems to help prevent new zits

Cons:

kinda stinky (but I'm used to it)
have to use consistently
may cause minor IB

So far, so good. I use the Spectrum organics raw unfiltered kind. I apply 1/2 water, 1/2 ACV plus 2-3 drops of Tea Tree Oil toner to my face 2x daily, Also, I make a poultice of the toner on flat cotton pads and let it sit on my problem areas for 10-20 minutes. It helps to flatten and heal pustules and cysts. I have had a couple new spots spring up in the 10 days I've been using it but it may just be bringing clogged pores to the surface. I read on the message boards that this helps you restore your skin's acid mantle. I'm a believer.

Pros:

It works and is inexpensive.

Cons:

If you use it as a topical and work out later, you'll bring the vinegar smell back up. It stings if you have open wounds.

I started using this after I realized I was getting some perioral dermatitis along with acne. I've been using it for a week and my perioral dermatitis is almost completely gone and I have 1 pimple today. 1!!!!! I usually get multiple spots per day. I've tried accutane 2x, brevoxyl, aczone, clindamycin, benzaclin, differin, tazorac, sulfur wash... The organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar is what has helped the most. I still use tazorac at night. I use the vinegar diluted 50/50 as a toner after washing. I let it dry and then moisturize.

Pros:

It works!
Has tons of uses
Can apply topically and/or drink to get the benefits
Cheap!

Cons:

For some people, it takes awhile to get used to the smell...but I think it fades quickly after you put it on the skin topically.

I'm in my 40's and my hormones are all out of whack...I have been getting the typical acne bumps along the jawline/hairline/neck and on the chin...I guess you could classify it as moderate acne breakouts. My doc wanted me to try spironolactone, but I am hesitant to use oral meds (especially after reading some of the side effects) so I opted for topical treatment. I have been using Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar (with "The Mother") undiluted on my face twice daily...and it is working very well. Although some people dilute it with water, I find I don't need to....it doesn't irritate my skin at all (this might be because my skin has built up a tolerance to glycolics and Retin-A). I use it after I cleanse my face in the am and before I put on Dan's BP. At night, I use it after I cleanse and before I apply my Retin-A. I have also started to drink a little bit daily (mixing it in my water). The little bumps are going away and my pores appear smaller...and it's only been a week. I hope with long term usage it continues to work. It also helps control oil in the T-zone area. As a side note, I got a really bad sunburn on my legs...and used this on it. It took the sting out immediately and healed it quickly. I think it is important when buying to get the kind that has "The Mother" in it. Best of all....it is cheap and has many other uses! It's always nice to find a product that is low cost AND works...highly recommend!

A miracle!
Okay just to start, I am a 19 year old female who has battled minor acne throughout high school. I used proactive which kept everything at bay and my complexion was almost flawless. Around August of 2015, I began breaking out on my forehead and some on my chin and jawline. I began the oil cleansing method which cleared up my skin almost completely. I then started taking a probiotic supplement at the beginning of November and my skin broke out the worst ever. My forehead was covered in red angry acne that only Got worse even after stopping the probiotics. My chin crews clusters of red acne and some scattered along my cheeks. I tried what felt like everything from "leaving it alone" to oil cleansing to benzoyl peroxide. I was waking up with multiple new zits everyday and I cried almost everyday. It effected my confidence so much. I then came across ACV as a toner. I had heard about it before but didn't think it would ever do anything. One night I decided to dilute it with water, apply it as a toner to a clean face and go to bed. No moisturizer, nothing. I woke up with my skin less red. So I stuck with it and it has been one week and my skin has cleared up about 75% of the way which is insane to me! I am so incredibly happy with the results, as my acne has put me through so much emotional stress and ruined my confidence. Now my routine is this: Wake up in the morning and apply 1:1 ratio of diluted ACV with water as a toner. That's it. If if I wore makeup that night for work, I remove it using castor oil and sunflower oil with the oil cleansing method. I then apply ACV diluted as a toner. No moisturizer. My skin is slightly dry but it's a good thing because it's drying out all of my acne! I can't wait to see the results that come after using it more and more. If you have acne and nothing is getting rid of it, I would try this. My skin is sensitive and I cannot use chemicals from products, even moisturizer because it irritates my skin so much
