Pros:

Clears your skin of all acne

Cons:

Acne can come back worst
Smells bad
Burns

I tried this remedy after reading about it on here. Within a week my skin was pretty clear, then totally clear after two weeks. A month into it though my skin retaliated and it came back worst. On top of my regular and cystic zits, I started to break out into a ton of little zits all over my forehead. Back to the drawing board! It may work for you though. Worth a shot.

Pros:

Cheap, may already be in your pantry, if it doesn't work on your face you can still cook with it

Cons:

Stinks
Stings
Caused breakouts

It stings like a mother, but in a medicinal way. I didn't mind the smell as long as it helped my acne, others in the house complained though. I would apply apple cider vinegar with a cotton ball a few nights a week. For a few weeks I thought it was helping slightly, or at least not hurting, but after a while it would actually make me break out after each time I applied it. Not sure why that happened but I stopped.

Pros:

Decreases oil, decreases redness

Cons:

Scarring became more prominent, developed little bumps and of course, the smell.

I thought this product worked great with my oily skin and I was hoping it would do the same for my ice pickish scars. After about two weeks, I noticed that my scars looked worse, they seemed to have expanded and I had developed little bumps that would not go away. Rather than stay the course, I decided that enough damage was done and I did not want to pursue this further.

Pros:

Makes your skin glowy and smooth (at FIRST)

Cons:

Made my skin dry, red, irritated, flaky.
Smells terrible.

I used half strength ACV for a few days, noticed good results (if a bit of stinging) and decided to use full strength. Big mistake. This was a few days ago and today my skin is dry and calloused where I used it, around my nose, and I accidentally scratched at the flakes in those areas and now the corners of my nose are filled with red sores. ACV seemed to work at first but I cannot handle this level of dryness and irritation. If you want something better for your red marks that won't screw up your skin, try aloe vera from the plant. I know this works for some people but you have to know your skin and be CAREFUL with it. It's vinegar. It's acid.

Pros:

cheap and easy to purchase.

Cons:

the smell, its effectiveness, and it actually made my acne worse.

I decided to try this product after seeing the great reviews on this site. I have oily skin and severe acne and have for years so I was really hoping this would work. I used this as a toner twice a day full strength for about 3 to 4 weeks. The first 3 days my skin seemed to be clearing up and I thought this might be THE product to end my horrible acne. After the 3 days my skin became much worse and instead of just getting the normal big/deep pimples I started to get tiny bumps around my face also. I finally got to the place where my acne looked so bad I could not take the product any longer. I only kept at the product for so long because I read on here that it took up to a month to see a difference. This did not work for me at all but I think it is about finding that product that works for you. I feel like I am out of options right now but am going to keep trying and hope there is something out there that can help my skin. I don't know if I can recommend this but I think it is worth a try. It is not super expensive and seems to work for a lot of people so what is there to lose? a couple more weeks of bad acne?

Pros:

None, especially when you're trying to clear up acne in a week or two.

Cons:

Made things way worse, and I'm still trying to get over the scars a month later.

I used apple cider vinegar as a toner on face face 3 times a day, for about a week and a half. I'm not really sure how this worked for everybody else except me, and its really dissappointing. By the second day of using this, I got like 15 new pimples, in spots I normally dont get them at all. And the ones that were already there were brought to a head and became more noticecable. I kept on using this daily, but things just kept on popping up. So I decided to stop using it, and my face returned back to its same old self. I was hoping this cleared up my acne by a big Christmas party I had, but it just made it worse. I will never try apple cider vinegar again.
