Pros:

Saw a positive difference within 24hrs.
Blemishes beginning to not be as noticable.

Cons:

Smell

I was leary at first but after using it for a week - I've found what my skin needs! I would recommend that you use 3 parts vinegar to every 1 part water until you eventually have the two liquids break-even. Also...while your skin may clear up using the combo twice a day - I would recommend that it only be used once because it is harsh on the skin and could dry it out. I go back and forth between the vinegar/water combo and Clean & Clear for sensative skin and haven't had any issues. I'm glad to see something so simple and inexpensive could clear up so much! I love it!

Pros:

Works amazingly well at fading both old an new acne scars/spots.
Saw huge improvements after 1 month of daily use.

Cons:

Can sting

Use BRAGGS ! The only ACV that will work this fast. Incredible stuff. Just make sure to dilute it for the first few weeks. Then use full strength when your skin is used to it.

Pros:

It helps with EVERYTHING!

Cons:

of course the smell, and stings for just a second.

My skin is used to harsh chemicals, and i don't really have bad acne, but recently i broke out and did not do anything to fix it so it just got worse because of wearing make-up, well anyway i have been using this apple cider on my face and it has dried up the zits over night! its a miracle! i drink a shot a day, but i decided to put it on my face to see what would happen, then i googled it and other people do it to lol. it depends on how sensitive your skin is but i think in moderation this is a healthy safe way to cure acne and overall everything. Its nasty to drink but i have gotten used to it. And honestly i had a hugeeee stress bump (is what i call the cyst like zits) and it went away over night! i think for the people that have been breaking out more because of this product is either because they had an allergic reaction to the acidity, or because they where not informed that acne gets WORRSEEE before it gets better! once you treat it you will not see results untill 3 weeks, when you get a zit it is from whatever you did 3 WEEKS ago. my step mom works in the spa and taught me everything. Anyway you may not know it but you have bacteria under the skin and once you treat it all comes out at once, so give it time :)

Pros:

***My Review is for APPLE CIDER VINEGAR not regular vinegar!!***

Cheap, works GREAT for hyperpigmentation marks

Cons:

Smells horrible

This works fantastically well on my hyperpigmentation marks, and believe me those little marks are the bane of my life and annoy me much more than the acne itself. I have used a few variations on this method - originally I first applied bicarbonate of soda (baking soda, sodium bicarbonate, whatever you want to call it) to my face and exfoliated gently, then I would apply the Apple Cider Vinegar on a cotton wool ball, and rub very gently for a few minutes. Now I do the same but without the bicarb, and it works just as well. I cleanse (I use origins checks and balances facewash, if anyone finds it relevant) and then rub this on my skin for a minute or two. If I'm alone I leave it on, but if I'm at my boyfriend's place or he is staying at my place, I rinse it off with water, otherwise my face would taste disgusting and he wouldn't want to be anywhere near it, let alone kiss me! This is definitely one of the cons of this item. However, I've discovered that rinsing it does not really reduce the effectiveness much, nor does dilution, so you really only need to use a tiny amount. Anyhow, I've used this for a while and it is the best thing I've ever come across for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation marks, which fade much, much more quickly with the help of ACV. I'm not sure if I'm imagining it, but I think it also helps my actual zits to heal more quickly too. One thing: do NOT think that ACV and regular vinegar are interchangeable. I can't speak for everyone - maybe others have got good results with regular vinegar, but everywhere I've looked has said the same thing on the subject of ACV for acne and skincare, which is that regular vinegar will not give you the same results and may be far too harsh for your delicate skin. Bottom line is, DO try it. It's really worth it. After having been plagued by those horrible post-acne marks for so long, I couldn't do without this product.

Pros:

-Reduces acne very fast
-Exfoliates the skin
-Reduces Hyperpigmentation Scaring
-Reduces Redness
-Reduces Rolling and Boxcar Scars
-Very Cheap
-Readily Available

Cons:

-The Smell (That's a given I guess)
-Burns

This is a pure miracle. The time I first used ACV my skin was relatively clear from using my Regime (At this point I still had a lot of Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation scaring from the acne) -Cetaphil Cleanser -Panoxyl Aquagel 10% -CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion So I didn't think much of the benefits of continued use of ACV Sadly I ran out of money, I couldn't purchase any more Aquagel and I had exams on the horizon, so I got very stressed and broke out terribly. Without any Aquagel I tried to look for other quick remedies to quell the problem, bare in mind I still had a lot of PIH scaring I wanted to deal with too, while researching treatments I stumbled across Vinegar as a treatment for PIH as well as acne, this is because Vinegar contains Malic Acid which is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid, so it performs relatively similair to Glycolic Acid. Malic Acid speeds up the rate of exfoliation on your skin. So I decided to give Vinegar another chance, this time though I only had Malt Vinegar which I read was acceptable, and this time considering I had used distilled Vinegar before (2 parts water to 1 part ACV) I thought I would try the vinegar undistilled. Boy was I glad I tried this method again, this stuff is INSANE before I didn't have that much acne to try it on, but at full strength this stuff literally kills acne so fast it's unbelievable, it completely dries up spots, I apply this stuff and I can literally see the spot get much smaller within seconds after application. Sure it burns and can dry up skin (nothing a good moisturizer won't fix) but these are minor issues considering how well it deals with acne. Results on par with Tea Tree Oil. Before I never gave Vinegar a chance to help with my scars (I didn't know it worked for this) I'm a week in this time and the results are AMAZING!!! Redness has subsided almost 50%, 20% improvement on my dark spots my overall complexion has improved so much and this is in

Pros:

Natural way to clear skin , normal pH and brings it to a glow.

Cons:

Has an unpleasant smell but please keep reading.

ONLY USE UNFILTERED (Brag is the most notable) apple cider vinegar with the "mother" which is the essential part (does not have to be organic). To decrease smell mix: 1 part ACV, 1 part witch hazel, 3 parts brewed green tea, 5 drops lavendar oil, 5 crushed (non-coated) aspirin (aspirin has salycilic acid). This should last a couple of weeks, I keep mine in a travel size bottle. Wipe this on like a toner, 2x/day. I also suggest researching the oil cleansing method to wash: 80% evoo and 20% castor oil (also takes off eye and face makeup). Massage in for a couple of minutes, lay a hot/warm wet washcloth on your face until it cools and wipe off excess oil. Rinse out the washcloth with hot water. Repeat the washcloth steps 2 more times. Yes, this will take about 10 minutes (like a mini-spa)but it is the natural way to remove oil/acne ( and frugal). If this is too drying, up the evoo %, not cleansing enough, up the castor oil %. If this scares you remember physics, oil attract oil (and removes it from your skin).

Pros:

Lightens acne hyperpigmentation, evens out skin tone, fewer breakouts (especially the pustule kind), slightly reduces oil production, makes skin glow

Cons:

Smells bad, but tolerable when diluted and used at night. May also dry out skin, so you might want to test out a ratio that's right for your skin type and use moisturizer.

I am Asian with olive, light-medium skin tone. My skin is extremely oily and usually produces oil about 20-30 minutes after I wash my face and apply makeup. I have mild acne and tend to break out on my cheeks, jawline, and around the mouth area, especially during that time of the month. I've been using Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar for about 3 weeks now, and I can see a tremendous difference it has made on my skin. I am mostly concerned about the brown hyperpigmentation on my right cheek that's about a quarter-size big (has been there for almost a year now). ACV has lightened that spot up by about 20%, which is a HUGE improvement, considering I've tried every OTC hydroquinone product in the book that all have failed to work. When using ACV, it's IMPERATIVE to use sunscreen because it makes your skin more sensitive to burning, plus you want to protect your skin from further hyperpigmentation. In the mornings, I wash my face with a sea salt water solution (1 part non-iodized Morton's sea salt mixed with 4-5 parts warm water), leave on for about 5 minutes and wash it off with plain water. Then I use Olay Complete Moisturizer for sensitive skin SPF 15. I hardly go out in the sun, so this is sufficient for me. Use a higher SPF if you are outside for longer periods of time. Please buy the Walmart Equate brand because the ingredients are similar to Olay's OLD formulation! The new one uses avobenzone as an active sunscreen ingredient, and I find that this breaks me out. However, Olay will be releasing the old formulation again by April 2010 ^_^). I don't usually use the ACV toner in the morning because of the smell. I also use foundation with SPF 17 for more sunscreen benefits. In the evenings, I wash with a mask of 1/2 tsp of baking soda and 1 Tbsp of honey for 3 minutes (do NOT scrub!). Rinse off with warm water and use ACV toner (1 part ACV to 3 parts water). I only moisturize the dry areas in my skin with jojoba oil and spot treat with tea t

Pros:

Surface of my skin became a lot smoother, even and old marks faded away quickly.

Cons:

Smells a bit.

I started diluting this in the beginning, but after a while just used to apply this neat, with a cotton wool pad, before bed time. I was skeptical in the beginning but was prepared to try anything. It's very cheap (compared to many other products) and worked. For a while (I've had another bad flare up and have new scars at the mo.) my skin was completely mark free and I'm sure that some of the more minor indentations had improved as well. I'm not sure how effective it would be with very dep scarring, but it would still help with red marks etc.

Pros:

it just helps :)

Cons:

smell and taste, it stings a bit

I use a regular facewash 1-2 times a day and in the evenings I then use some apple cider vinegar like a tonic, I also use scrub 2 times a week. My face has not been so clear in years! For my sensitie/mixed skin, this is a great solution :D.
