Pros:

My face was 1/2 clear.

Cons:

After 1 month, the dang stuff gave me a rash!!!

I had a little bit of nausea, fatigue.

My face wouldn't clear up all the way because my acne is HORMONAL. Once I got on some hormonal balancing cream, half my acne disappeared which explains why Bactrim was only able to help with some of my acne. What is not cool is the blue, spotty rash I've have on both my arms since 1-2 months ago when I stopped taking this stuff.

Pros:

cleared up my acne a lot better than any other product i've tried

Cons:

i havent noticed too many side effects and i've been taking it for 7 months. my skin seems to be very oily.

i've tried many products the past 5 years that i've had moderate acne, and septra is by far the best that has worked. and ive tried everything except accutane. this product works very well most of the time, but certian weeks i will break out if i dont take it regularly. i also use klaron with it, which helps clear my skin. i was depressed for months because of my breakouts, but it has improved my skin and confidence a lot, and besides very small pimples and scars my skin is basically clear. my derm. said about 5 % have an allergic reaction, but i never had any side effects from this medicine. it just depends on the person, but i definately recommend it.

Pros:

Not Sure Yet

Cons:

Headaches, dizziness

ive been using this for almost 3 weeks, it seems to be working on the back and chest, but i honestly dont see improvement on my face, i think this may be because i am also on retin a which is known to "surface" all of your acne but i dont kno. But be cautious to take it easy when excercising. i work out alot and i am in pretty good shape, and the last 3 times i have gone to the gym i have received instense headaches and dizziness. I vomited thelast time and i am not even working out as hard as i did before using the medication i dont know why exactly this happenes, but i think the vomiting may of been excercising with a stomach full of water since my mouth dries out so quickly(which is also from this drug) so i drank over a gallon of water. so yeah just be careful. in the meantime i am going to pray i see results soon

Pros:

I have adult cystic acne, and it cleared most of the larger cysts within about a week.

Cons:

Horrible allergic reaction!! I wish I could still use this product, but after only 2 and a half weeks of use I had a really really bad reaction. Fever, chills, couldn't breathe, extreme itching...just plain bad.

It's a wonderful product, if you aren't allergic.

Pros:

None for me

Cons:

Severe reaction. Had to be taken to the ER. Severe joint pain, hot flashes, cold chills, vomiting, other intestinal issues, fever, extreme pain in back, and blood in my urine. Occurred <3 hours after the 6th time I had taken it

Might work for some just be careful. ER doc didn't want to say it was the antibiotic. Talked to 2 other doctors and they told me I was lucky and that next time I may not be so fortunate. There are other alternatives to this treatment. I had no idea that I was allergic until after the fact. Been suggested to me that I need to have a medical alert braclet for this. And I am not one to rush to the hospital unless my arm is falling off. And I have no other medical ailments that could explain it.

Pros:

Works quite well, although not 100%. I'd say it cleared it up by 75% on my face and 40% on my back. Definetly made the big ones smaller.

Cons:

About 5 years ago started with 2/day and had a mild rash, cut back to 1/day and had no problems. Stopped after a year after it lost its effectiveness, came back 6 months ago and its doing pretty good.

Works good for an on again off again solution. My doc suggested using this for 6-12 months, then switching to another drug (can't remember the name) when this loses its effectiveness then back to this again in another 6-12 months. Sounds like a good plan. Really no problems with the allergic reactions.

Pros:

It has been making me break out rather than helping my moderate acne that i have on my cheeks. Called the derm and they said it would get worse before better so I'm hoping i'll see improvement soonn..

Cons:

Breakouttttt, loss of appetite (unless that's good haha), fatigue

Very affordable, very strong, but it may take awhile to work and you may get worse before you get better, i still have yet to be better but we'll hope

Pros:

None

Cons:

Experienced severe allergic reactions and was hospitalized. My spleen and liver became abnormally large, my body temperature fluctated (head was hot, feet was cold) resulting in seizure-like body-shaking, and I broke into a rash (possibly hives).

I almost died 2x; now that I think of it, I wished I sued my doctor. Please be extremely cautious, and remember that you know you're own body better than your doctor.
