Ordered a fresh bottle and redness is gone. Used for 2 months redness back. Buying again.
Been using 8 years. Last year severe redness started to appear making me look like a red racoon. However, this is the only thing that works, it's like my skin is dependent on this stuff. So I ordered a fresh bottle thinking maybe a bad batch. Bottle arrived and BOOM... redness was gone. I look like I have a sun tan.  After two months on the same 8 oz bottle. Redness appeared again. So i am back on the website to order a new one. I'm going to order the small 4 oz travel size because i only do once a night.. it should last me a month.  It's my strong opinion that this formulation of BP goes bad after 30 days and does not maintain the quality and the structure of the chemicals anymore. From here on out i will be ordering monthly BP until i can successfully wean off of this skin dependent product (BP). I will wean off by using a retinoid that my dermatologist recommends. Maybe i'll try every other day, it's called aklief. I tried weaning off bp last year but i had atopic dermatitis so bad with such a broken skin barrier i was forced to go back on BP. I've tried to wean off of it also 5 years ago unsuccessfully. (P.S) it's also my strong opinion that BP affects male testosterone hormones. When i was off of it, voice was deeper and sex hormones off the charts. However, i been taking high dose vit e, Milk Kefir, sauerkraut, and cod liver oil and been eating more fiber, fish and washing my face with distilled water only. I think this next transition from BP to a retinoid will be successful. Pray for my journey and I will pray for the acne community. We are more than our skin, remember to pray and thank god each day.

I've used acne.org BP for about as long as you have and I have also noticed that efficacy quickly wanes. By month 2.5-3, it's not much better than water. I'm looking to transition off of BP for good. The point you made on hormones is a little concerning, since I've been using it for so long. Hopefully that isn't the case!

Good for treating acne

As far as clearing up acne, this product works. But In my opinion, user experience isn't that great.

1. The product, especially the amount you work up towards, tends to rub off. When I wake up in the morning I have little white dots all over my face from the product flaking.

2. For the reason stated above, this product is not good to wear under makeup. You will regret ever trying, trust me. Just don't try it.

3. Upon application, there is a grainy texture that I personally find very disturbing. Im not sure if that is how its supposed to feel or if I got a not so good batch. Its not terrible, but its not great either.

4. When I recieved my package, two of the three product pumps were leaking from the middle of the lid. Again, not a big deal, but still, could be better. I just find that I spent too much money to have 2 of 3 broken pumps.

Other than that, as far as it being a effective acne treatment, it works really fast and really well. My acne cleared up pretty much immediately.

The facial cleanser works wonders for removing makeup, I got some in my eyes and its not as bad as some other cleansers. It also doesn't feel too stripping.

The Aha is some of the best on the market. Ive used other brands and this one is by far the best one I've found.

Jojoba oil is very over priced. If you buy it from here test the quality by sticking it in the freezer and seeing if it solidifies. Lmk of it works cause I'm a bit skeptical.

Very watery, transfers easily

I'm a big fan of the acne.org regimen, but this acne.org brand benzoyl peroxide isn't great. It's incredibly watery even when shaken before use, which makes it travel onto other areas and surfaces more easily. When using target to cvs brand benzoyl peroxide, I don't have to worry about bleaching my clothes and sheets, but the acne.org brand bleaches everything so much. It also doesn't seem to work as well as formulations that are thicker and less watery, and makes my eyes water even when applied to my chin.

The thing is you have to stick to the regimen and literally follow the guidelines. I have been using this product for 4 years now and it’s just amazing.

READ IF CONSIDERING BUYING

This product does work well on my skin but WATCH OUT I use it on my back and it bleached my dark clothes and sheets. I always have to wear a white shirt now after I put it on because if I wear a dark shirt it will leave permanent orange bleached spots on it. So use carefully because it will permanently BLEACH YOUR CLOTHES!!!

It's literally labeled on the Package... That's your own fault.

Overall review

This treatment is great first time using it all my acne was gone with in months!!! Happy days :smileys_n_people_32:! Unfortunately it's not a miracle product that actually gets rid of your acne for good. I stopped using it when all my spots where gone. With in a month my spots started to come back and actually a lot worse than before had major breakouts very painful. The treatment just suppressed my spots and kept them away but once stop using acne.org your spots come back so my advice is to honestly look into something that is more permanent as this is just something you will have to always keep using. Also I noticed after a while your skin becomes used to it and it's not as effective as it was from the beginning so that was another problem that I didn't like. Overall it works a lot better then most creams out there and good for a quick fix

I think long-term solutions involve hormonal measures as that's usually the cause of persistent acne. As far as spot treatments go I think it's clear that you've had great results from this topical product.

Maintains, BUT...
Skin type: Sensitive and Oily. Disclaimer: I only used the acne.org BP. I used the normal to dry skin Cetaphil cleanser, and kept trying different moisturizer to combat the dryness the BP left me with afterwards. Let's get straight to the point: It maintained my skin's clarity, hence the 3 stars. I still had the occasional chin pimple around my period, but other than that; clear. This all came at a price. I followed the acne.org regimen of gently applying a thick layer of the BP on the skin and letting it dry for about 20-30 minutes. While I waited for it to dry, my eyes would burn and water, my skin was extremely irritated, itchy, and it stung. After it dried, I found that a normal moisturizer would not do. It would be hard to spread around my face, it seemed like it would skip over my skin and I would have to use more force in applying the moisturizer (which i really didn't want to do). I never found the perfect moisturizer to use after the BP. I found that I wasn't producing any oil during the day, which was very different for me, and it was nice not having to worry about how shiny I was all the time, but then I found that I also looked like a lackluster zombie. Also, my neck started becoming extremely dry, itchy, irritated, and flaky. I later found this was because when I would apply my moisturizer to my face, I would drag the remaining product to my neck and I'm guessing the BP would also get transferred, irritating the delicate neck skin. User error I suppose. But for me, having to literally sit still for 30 minutes in pain, with my eyes closed to avoid the burning and stinging, and not being able to use a regular moisturizer afterwards to combat the dryness was not worth it. With my skin if something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't. I stopped using it and my acne and oil have returned. I use it as a spot treatment for active pimples in combination with Clindamyacin lotion now, and I know if i'm in a pinch it can be relied on. I know that some people will do anything to improve their acne condition, and have different skin situations, and that's why I still wanted to give it 3 stars. I say give it a shot.

I can't wait
I suffered from acne since I was 14 years old Nothing bad, but I thought it was bad I used the things dermotologist prescribed, antibiotics (doxycline) , spiroctone however you spell it lol accutane, birthcontrol pills and bezoyl peroxide gel from dermotologist. The pills would work while I was on it, but onces I stopped acne came back. Now I have almost 2 years suffering from hormonal acne and it has messed me up so bad my confidence went from 100 to zero. At times I feel like crying I have tried everything aloe vera, face mask, I drink alot of water I tried 3 weeks of cutting out dairy and I didn't see no difference. I recently promised myself to get this BP try it for about 3-4 months with my cerave face wash. I have super sensitive skin, who has seen results with this product that had severe acne? And how long did it take you to see results?

I once had a severe acne when I was 16. I tried literally everything and nothing happened. Before, I was using clindamycin and after a year my skin got immuned to it and made my acne worse. I thought nothing’s gonna help my skin and I was about to give up but then I saw the acne.org regimen kit and I gave it a try. After a month, it made my face really dry and flaky but I noticed that there were no new pimples forming. My pimples are also drying out which is a good thing but even a lot of moisturizer won’t help and I was freakinggg out. But after two months my acne is gone, only pimple marks and dry skin. I bought the AHA and it made my skin smooth and moisturized. After that, I only put BP every night and it’s still working out the same way. March 23, 2017 was the day I tried it out and now it’s been a year already and my face is all cleared up but there are still some pimples whenever I’m about to have a period but atleast it made my skin pretty good. 3-4 months is the month that everything would turn out fine. Don’t freak out at first and don’t stop using it you just need to be patient. :) that’s it. Good luck!

Wonderful at clearing up acne but I just can't make it work
it won't stop peeling me which is IMO even worse than the acne (sometimes) because people have acne all the time but I never see someone with alot of flakes on their skin

Works great, but is not an all-in-all cure
This definitely got the job done in terms of clearing up most of my acne, but because my acne was hormonal, this was not the cure for me. I definitely recommend this product, but for those suffering from more severe acne, this will only help partially, since it may not be addressing the root of the issue. I highly suggest using this regimen WITH an elimination diet to see what foods may be creating hormone imbalances or inflammation, therefore causing the acne.

I agree. It has worked wonders on my skin without a doubt, but when it comes to hormones it has met its match. While it has no real control over those kind of break outs, I will say that it does make them go away quicker. So regardless of it not being able to prevent these or not, it still is a great product for eliminating the majority of acne and lessens the duration of the rest.
