Pros:

none

Cons:

Doesn't stop new acne from forming, takes along time just to kill one zit

I've been on the regimen following it exactly how i'm supposed to for a month now.overall my acne is alittle better but the red spots remain and seem to almost be redding even more. i still get new acne almost everyday. Now they say give it aleast 8 weeks or so but to me it doesn't make sense. if new acne keeps forming almost everyday when in that extra 4 week period is it going to magically stop the new acne from forming...If its not doing it now how does it randomly start working like everyone says it does? i don't really get it.

Pros:

Inexpensive, large tube, odorless, thin gel....not chalky

Cons:

Dried me out terribly even with moisturizer way more than neutogeana spot control 2.5% BP, my face looked parched actually had a bumpy red rash from it......unattractive!!

Will be going back to Neutrogeana, do not care about the price difference when it comes to my face. I am shocked that I did not like this, i thought it was a no brainer. I have very high expections and having less acne on crusty, parched red skin is no bonus to me. Even using it every other day once a day did not satisfy me. Beware of high reviews from people who are also on antibiotics because that is what is helping there acne, not the gel. Not for me....

Pros:

Sometimes works.

Cons:

Often times doesn't.

I think that if you really stick to Dan's regimen this stuff will work for you. However, if you don't want to be forever globbing on chemicals of expensive (and potentially damaging to your skin), I would recommend finding a different approach.

Pros:

Not too expensive

Cons:

Not for everyone

BP is hailed by some as a great method to combatting acne but for me, not so much. It's awesome that it works for some but I think people hopping aboard the bandwagon for the regimen need to keep in mind that everyone's skin is different. For that same reason, the regimen and BP will not work the same for everyone either. I unfortunately did not consider that when I began using it. I in fact, needed professional help for my acne, but because of my stubborn thinking I thought I could clear my face on my own. Instead it worsened over the month and a half that I used the BP. It showed some results but nothing that convinced me that I should stick it out any longer than I already had.

Pros:

Cán't think of one

Cons:

makes my face really red and dry
expensive shipping

I used this product for 2 weeks, starting slowly, just like Dan's instructions. The 1st week was just fine, but during the 2nd, most parts of my face were turning red,and peeling. My parents started to ask me all the time if I was ok, and at the end of the 2nd week, they told me to stop using it. It has been 2 days and my face is still dry. I'll try again, but this time, with a verrryyy small amount.
