Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

This is the best product Ive used. Before I started I had moderate acne all along my jawline. The day I started the regimen the breakouts ceased. My skin has been consistently clearing since I started. Thanks Dan

I don't evven know where to start with this... I just LOVE this benzoyl peroxide, It's amazing. Probably the best and easily the most affordable BP on the market. I hope Dan never stops selling it! P.S - my acne WAS moderate, but now I'm proud to say it's light (and I've only been on the regimen for a bit over a week)

I have had moderate acne since i was 12 (I'm 18) and I've tried almost every over the counter product, plus been perscribed Differin and another product which I forget the name of. Nothing worked long term. I bought this product and used it in combination with Cetaphil face wash and oil free moisturizer from my derm. I followed the regimen exactly and it works AMAZINGLY. The first week or two I noticed a small difference but I figured why not keep going, so I did, and after 6 weeks my skin was clear. When I came home from school my family commented on how clear and beautiful my skin looked. This product is seriously the bomb. You DO have gorgeous skin under your acne and this stuff will make it show. I just went backpacking for a month and couldn't wash my face, so I broke out a little, which shows you have to keep using this stuff. Get the big bottle.

-ive tried over the counter stuff like;neutrogena, oxy clean, proactive (worked ok) -i even went to the dermatologist and took: dynocline, rentin A. ect. ( worst mistake of my life) by far this stuff is the best for my face and my body acne, takes about 2 weeks and you definitely need a moisturizer. its not perfect, nothin is, you do get one random pimple once in awhile. but it goes away in less then 2 days ive been using it for a year and i love it. - try it!

This has made all the difference in my skin! Yes, when i started the regimen i experienced the terrible, flaky, dry effects of the BP but after tweaking Dans regimen slightly I made it work for me. Rather than using the 2 full pumps recommended, I find 1/2 to 1 pump to be sufficient enough. Pair this BP w/ a good moisturizer (i use the Equate Face Lotion from Wal-Mart) and you'll see an improvement w/ a little bit of dedication and lots of patience!!!

This is what I tried over the course of my acne past. I had acne for 13 years, and this is the first topical treatment that works for me. - Accutane for one year - Birth control pill which gave me perfect skin - Chinese tea - Pro active - Murad - Epiduo - Being a vegetarian for a month - Some antibiotics given by dermatologists - I tried 5 different dermatologists - Dermalogica - Zenmed - Dr. Hauschka products, organic line - Doing nothing about it The bottom line, is that I have been searching all over for the perfect product to get rid of acne and I still think that Acne.org, really changed my life because I am able to feel good about my skin now. I owe so much to Daniel, and feel so grateful and appreciative that he is able to impact the lives of so many other peeps with acne issues. Strongly recommended to give it a try.

I wash and moisturize twice a day and I have always had clear skin. But I started having huge breakouts recently. I did a little online research and found this site. First I was skeptical. I followed the regimen with other products I could find in stores. tried burts bees blemish stick, acnefree terminator, and kiehl's blemish control but they all didnt work too well. The acne would not go away and new ones keep on popping up. My face was horrible. Finally, I got on this site and bought the BP. This little thing cured my acne in TWO DAYS. Its truly amazing. Never thought those huge pimples and blemishes can disappear so quickly and with such cheap price. I also got the 10% glycolic acid, you can't find this stuff anywhere else for this price! I had mild acne all my life that became moderate in my early twenties. It really affected my life. I was constantly thinking about my skin and getting down on my appearance--my confidence really suffered. But the BP started working after just a few days, and by about 2 months I was getting no pimples at all! Soon the old discoloured marks from previous breakouts were fading and I was going outside without a stitch of makeup on. You have no idea how amazing that felt. I can't even put it into words. Yes, I did suffer through some rather unattractive redness and dryness for about 3 months. I once had a friend ask me if I had a sunburn (in winter! I just told her that yea, I went outside and the sunlight is stronger because it's reflected off the snow...;) Anyway, I'm so glad I stuck with the regimen. I use my own cleanser and moisturizer (which I mix with Dan's jojoba oil). I couldn't be happier with the results. If you suffer from acne, like I did, you probably spend a lot of time fantasizing about how awesome it would be to talk to someone up close without worrying about their reaction to your acne. Or about how much more confidence you would have talking to your crush if your face was clear. I know I'm sounding like an advertisement here, but I would really recommend to anyone with acne that they give Dan's regimen a shot--and I mean stick with it for several months even if the redness/dryness is no fun. You will be SO glad you did.

I've had acne for about 8 years, but until last year, it was under control. I used Proactiv mostly, which I do not recommend (I wrote another review on their products). I stopped using benzoyl peroxide last year to see if I 'grew out' of acne, but I was sorely mistaken. The worst acne I've ever had sprung up, so I went and tried acne.org treatment, which includes a cleanser, benzoyl peroxide, and a moisturizer. The cleanser and moisturizer ended up making things worse. I incorrectly went to try so-called 'natural' things, yet that failed as well. I had the idea of simply going back to my old regimen, which was pretty much a Giovanni cleanser, some benzoyl peroxide, and aloe vera. This worked wonderfully, but I have had to follow common sense and trial and error. I worked my way up to following Dan's advice, which ended up being a mistake. This was the part where he states to use TWO pumps or an entire fingers length of benzoyl peroxide. This, no matter how far into the regimen I am, ends up being excessive and makes my face as red as the devils butt. I, personally, only use one pump, which, compared to most companies recommendation, is still plenty. I also put it on my face only when it's convenient, but it's usually in the morning. At night will just be a gentle cleanser, as Dan recommends, and aloe vera. I have to use it daily though. If your face gets really red, like mine, stop using the benzoyl peroxide until the redness goes away. Lets your skin adjust. The main thing is that benzoyl peroxide takes time to clear your skin. It took me 10 weeks to clear me from acne, and if I stop taking the benzoyl peroxide, just like I did before, it will only cause a huge amount of awful acne to reappear. The benzoyl peroxide gets rid of, initially, and then prevents acne from forming. Benzoyl peroxide just adds oxygen to your skin, which kills the acne as it can't form when oxygen is present. Although, you may gets one or two pimples, but that should be rare. You can't become immune to benzoyl peroxide, like antibiotics, because that is physically impossible for your skin to become immune to oxygen. I hope this helps. I wrote this because I came to this site to clear my skin of acne, and now that I did, I thought this review would help those who will also come to this site for help in fixing their acne as well.
