Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

The smell doesn't bother me, I don't have adverse reactions to the BP, and it works well. I'm approaching 1 month of the Regimen and my skin is getting better. I was using the 2% BP by AcneFree, but Dan's BP is much cheaper per ounce and for shipping. I can't use 3 full pumps. It's too much, even though it's the recommended dose.

I was 2 days shy of my doctor putting me on Acutane. My acne was that severe and I was 28 and absolutely sick of it. In a last ditch effort, I made a leap of faith and ordered all of the acne.org products. I saw results within two days!!! My husband could not believe his eyes and neither could I. I am 27 year old female and have suffered from acne since the age of... 15? Was started on antibiotics which worked up until the age of 21 ish? Struggled with many different contraceptive pills as all aggravated my acne so am still not taking any birth control now at the age of 27 due to the havoc it wreaks with my skin... I have tried EVERYTHING! I've tried not doing anything (the natural way) - doesn't work, I've tried every pill and cream on the market - really really expensive ones - really really cheap ones.... Recently I tried a course of Jan Marini face peels which worked for a while but then my face soon broke out and its quite harsh stuff and seriously expensive... Then tried to go back to soothing products like Dermalogica and that definitely didn't work! I thought I would give the regimen a go and here I am writing to you with clear skin! I still have scars and I have the odd little spot around my period but nothing like I used to have. And my skin isn't painful any more either! - I'm sure lots of you know what I mean - not only is acne unattractive but it hurts! I have only been using the regimen for about 8-10 weeks but I am very happy. It is tough to start with, lots of flaking of the skin and people look at you a little strangely - but stick with it - its worth it in the end! It took about a month for it to settle down... I really hope it works for anyone reading this review as I know the desperate state we are all in to find something that works.

i first bought the travel size treatment to see if it would work so i wouldn't spend too much. i finished that bottle in 3 weeks, i followed dans directions AND I COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT THIS. i washed with dove sensitive skin bar. and mosturized w. murad skin perfecting lotion! I RUSHED TO BUY THE BIGGEST BOTTLE OF THIS THEY HAD, i use this twice a day, and in between if i feel like i need a little more on problem areas, THIS PRODUCT WORKS EXTREMELY WELL, TRY IT AND DON'T FORGET TO USE A OIL-FREE LITEWEIGHT LOTION ON DRY AREAS!

I wanted to like it, but it just isn't as good as other BP products like clinique. This BP is horrendous at stopping breakouts from happening while you're out and about. I would be out having fun, go to a bathroom and be embarrassed to see a few pimples had risen. So I could never feel secure about my face using this stuff when I was out. I will say that it is quality ingredients, it's gentle and goes on clear, I wish I could like it, but it's just not good enough.

I had basically given up on trying to treat my acne (I've tried everything, including proactiv and accutane), but after reading reviews on this product I decided to give it a try. I have been using this for a month and a half so far and the results have been great. (note: I only apply this at night, and follow the application with jojoba oil enhanced moisturizer.) The major con is dry skin, which is no joke. I thought only applying it at night would deter my skin from drying out so much, but the dryness is inevitable (although adding jojoba oil to my moisturizer has helped, I think). So, if you're like me and have given up on treating your acne, please consider trying this product. I still have some scars and my skin is not magically clear, but I have seen a significant improvement in the time I have been using it.

LOVE IT! Price is great, product is great and it delivers when you use it like you should. I have used Maxclairty, Proactive and soo much more. This works but follow the directions!

I have had severe acne for several years now, but when I went to college it became out of control. It took a good 2 1/2 months, but my face is finally looking great and my acne is about 85% cleared i'd say. This REALLY works, with patience and consistency.

it works. it is irritating at first and will probably dry you out at the first few days or weeks but just use a moisturizer and keep using it because it does help with acne a lot!
