Pros:

Well-priced. The amount lasts a long time even though you use a lot of it, and best of all IT WORKS!

Cons:

Bleached my brunnette hairline BLONDE (but not my eyebrows) when I accidentally got the product on my hair. It has stained a few of my towels and a few shirt necklines.

Here's what I've learned the hard way: Wash your hands after use to avoid staining towels, shirts, etc. Pull your hair back when applying to face. If putting treatment on after showering, make sure you put your shirt on FIRST to avoid getting the product on it. Otherwise, nothing has worked for me as well as benzoyl peroxide, and the 2.5% really does work just as well as the 10% (without drying your face). In the winter I applied jojoba oil before the treatment. If I see a zit that's popped up during the day, I put a little extra treatment on that spot and by morning it's usually almost gone! I use it AM & PM. I don't know what I'd do without Dan's treatment!!

Pros:

works!

Cons:

personal feeling that it is harsh on the skin.

Skin type: sensitive combination skin I'm 20 years old and have been using this since I was a little over 18. IT HAS CLEARED ME UP! When I returned home from college, I received comments about how much clearer my skin has become! I used the product exactly as Dan instructed. As Dan said, this won't perfect your skin, but will make a big improvement! I am proof! An 8oz bottle lasted me almost a year and a half! (I only used once a day on problem areas though. I found it to be drying on the area between my nose and upper lip, but then again I do have sensitive skin.) You must use with moisturizer or else your skin will be very dry. It does increase sensitivity to sun, but all benzoyl peroxide does that. Use sunscreen! I recently just placed my second order (year and a half later)! The price I paid was for an 8oz bottle and shipping to NY. I strongly recommend this product, but be sure to watch Dan's videos for instructions and recommendations.

Pros:

-Reasonably priced if purchasing a large bottle
-Good consistency

Cons:

-Drying and flaking
-The pump doesn't work all of the time

If you break it down by cost per ounce, the price is excellent compared to other brands, even if you include the high shipping charges. Just be very sure you are going to use the entire bottle so you won't feel guilty about dropping so much money at once. I like this more than Neutrogena's On-the-Spot. The application is very smooth. The gel dries quickly on the skin and doesn't bead when I apply moisturizer over it. Because it is BP, it does dry the skin and cause quite a bit of flaking. Also, my skin is more sensitive to the sun. Using a good moisturizing sun screen helps to alleviate any discomfort. I use this once in the morning all over my face and neck, followed by an SPF 15. I don't use it at night any more because I just started tretinoin a month ago. It is gentle enough that I can use the two (at separate times) without any adverse side effects. It is not effective with my cystic acne, but it is very effective with surface blemishes and blackheads. It immediately helped me with oil control. It did take a couple of weeks to see results and for my skin to adjust. I no longer get blackheads or bumps around my nose, temples, or chin. There is a noticeably less acne (about half the originally amount) on my cheeks and along my jaw. After a year of consistent use, it has not completely rid me of acne, but it has greatly reduced it. For an OTC product, I think this gel worked wonderfully.

Pros:

-It works
-It doesn't dry out my skin when used with the acne.org moistuerizer
-Goes on easily

Cons:

-Have to order on line

This product works better than anything I've ever used before, and I've tried a lot of probucts. I only wish that I could buy it in stores. I'm a little impatient and hate waiting for packages in the mail. Plus, it would be nice to not have to pay for shipping everytime. Still....I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is struggling with acne and is getting frustrated with trying to find something that works. If it works this good for me, it could work for you. What else do you have to lose?

Pros:

-Cost effective (16 oz.)
-Affordable
-Dries clear
-Effective BP treatment with desirable results
-No unpleasant fragrance
-Nice texture to put on skin
-No residue

Cons:

-Expensive to ship overseas
-Only available from Acne.org
-Caused me some initial dryness, redness, flaking and purging
-Takes some time to dry once applied
-Results took me a while (3 months)
-Per longs red marks after acne heals

This product is a great BP to use with The Regimen. It is probably the most cost effective as it comes in such a large tub and lasts for a long time before having to buy again. I experienced dry, red skin for a week after starting to use this product, and after that I had some purging for about 3 weeks. After this I started to see some great results and I am happy to say I'm now clear aside from a few red marks which are fading. I use this before moisturising and after cleansing (The Regimen) in the morning and before bed. Compared with most store-bought BP products the cons of this in no way put me off the product. I love it.

Pros:

- Nice consistency
- No extreme over drying
- Works well
- Works fast

Cons:

- Can be a bit drying to some people

This product works. Before I started using it, I was concerned about BP's over-drying effects, considering I don't have oily skin. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I began using it. It slightly dries me out, but the moisturizer definitely takes care of it. Before this product, I was suffering from painful acne on my chin, forehead and cheeks. I've only been using this BP for a few weeks, and my acne has already decreased about 40%, and has started to lighten red marks from old acne. It has definitely positively impacted my confidence. I look forward to continuing the regimen, and getting 100% clear for the first time in 4 years.

I PROMISED MYSELF THAT IF IT WORKED I WOULD TELL MY STORY
I have suffered from acne since I was 13 years old. Every time I thought it was improving for a little while, it would just seem to flair up with a vengeance. TRUST me when I say I've searched every single resource for a solution. I bought every single OTC product available that promised a cure. EVERYTHING. And while some of them might have stabilized me for a few days at a time, I still had a hugeee problem. I was always too embarrassed to face the world. I could not leave my room without a bunch of makeup on. NO ONE, including my mother, had seen me without makeup since I was 13. Is that not just sad... I just couldn't leave my room without it. I though I looked like a monster. Not only did I have acne, but I had the scars and hyper-pigmentation that came with it. That was probably the worst part. I would probably get two pimples a week, or something like that. But they always left me with brown spots. Those always took forever to get rid of. For a while, I tried to mildly control my acne with products that did a mediocre job. But I was really trying to clear the brown spots. Not until August of 2014 did I say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I did my fair share of crying and praying to God for answers through the years. I told myself, "Why are you targeting the hyper-pigmentation? Those will never go away until the acne does!" So I set out to find an answer. I went on YouTube and I searched acne testimonials/cures/treatments. And I finally found my miracle. I write this with tears because I have been waiting 7 years for this!! I have been waiting 7 years to be able to write a review that will touch and inspire someone that was in the same predicament as me. I wish everyone had a chance to get this product. If you suffer from acne, it will change your life! So here's my advice to you: BUY THIS. AND BE PATIENT. This took about 4 or 5 months to completely clear me up. I don't know why I was always hopeful from the start,. Maybe it was because of ALL the videos I saw of people just telling the viewers to STICK TO IT. Even if you can't see a change yet, stick to it. AND YESSS. That is exactly my advice. Stick to it, because it will kick in. I would say that I saw some changes sort of immediately. Immediately as in, I was still getting acne and stuff, but they kinda started clearing up faster. Maybe it was just psychological, however. Two moths in, the changes were still stable. This is the hard part, when you start feeling like, "man.. should I keep on... nothing is really changing.." SO you THINK. I think after the three month line is when you start seeing for yourself a little bit, like "yeah I think this might finally be working." And now there is me, 6 months later. ACNE free. I never thought I would say that again. Now let me make something clear, my skin is NOT perfect. My skin is trying to pick up from all those years of damage, but it is in the best condition it has been since I was 13 years old. Thanks to God first, thanks to ACNE.ORG so much, and all the youtubers that inspired me to get this product. I barely get acne at all anymore. Maybe once a month I'll get a pimple or two around my period. But it won't form into a pustule, usually, and it dries over in a day or two. It's the greatest. My skin is soooo smooth now. And for the first time ever, people are starting to notice a change. My friends and family tell me my skin looks so good. I have not heard that in so many years!! What I use: I do not use the whole entire acne.org system, but I do use what they tell us to use. If that makes sense. I have a fragrance-free, oil-free, cleanser. I use Purpose Cleanser. I use the instructions to wash my face that the website advices. Then I use THIS acne.org treatment (the holy grail of it all), and I moisturize with Cetaphyl Lotion. Once again, I repeat, I follow the website's instructions. (Thank You, DAN!!!) Oh, also I add a drop or two of jojoba oil to my moisturizer. I'm using the acne.org AHA for my scars at night. It looks like its working too! Maybe the products you can purchase straight out of acne.org do a better job, who knows. I use the most otc, and inexpensive products I can. They seem to be working great for me ! I can now say my skin is acne free and almost completely even toned! I have never been so happy in my life and I am so happy to be writing this review. Thanks for reading. And Remember, stick to IT! Hope your journey goes great everyone!

Pros:

It works for me :D

Cons:

It causes a bit of redness and flakiness(Fixed it once I found the right amount to use for my face).

Coming from someone who: -Has oily & sensitive skin. -Has tried Proactive, Murad, Neutrogena, Bioré, and Clean & Clear. Tips for Using this Product: -Watch Dan's "Regimen" videos. They help guide you through the steps and proper use of the products. -Don't give up too soon! Took me about a month to get my great results :) *Important*-You have to experiment with the amount of your product application. (Dan uses more and it works for him, I use a bit less and it still works great for me) Because of my sensitive skin I found that if I use as much as Dan indicates on his video my skin gets flaky and red. SO instead of using a fingers lenght of B.P. I use about and inch of treatment. -I usually use more moisturizer than treatment. So 1 inch of treatment and 1 1/2 inch of moisturizer(to prevent the flakiness). *GIRLS*-Moisturizer takes a little longer to absorb so the first thing I do in the morning is wash my face, dry it, then use the treatment. After I fix my hair(the treatment is dry by then) I apply the moisturizer and then eat and finish getting ready so the moisturizer has more time to absorb. The LAST thing to do is put on my makeup(I do this so my makeup won't blot with the lotion). Conclusion: -I really believe the "Regimen" and the Acne.org products work :D Like me, you have to experiment with the amount and the number of days a week that you use it. I have such good results I recently bought a new supply of the kit(one kit lasted over two months for me).
