would NOT recommend

I first started using this regimen in 2016 and it got rid of all my acne, this was the first product that actually worked. I don’t have acne anymore but I would get the occasional pimple or two so I decided to purchase this regimen again ( worst mistake of my life). i’ve been using this product for a month now and my skin is horrible, I went from clear skin to horrible painful acne from using this product. I have never had this type of acne before it feels like cystic acne now and my skin was perfectly fine before I started using this. They must have changed the formula or added new things to this regimen because it is not the same and it also bleached my pillow cases from grey to orange. I do not recommend buying this, it will damage your skin and cause painful acne.

I love this product and it has completely cleared my skin. I’m just curious as to why you used it if your skin was fine. This product is very strong so I wouldn’t even recommend for light acne.

Do Not Buy

DO NOT BUY! I have been using the product for a while and this is my 3rd time buying, first two times i have received great results, however, this last batch received in June feels like i am going backwards, i believe they have changed the ingredients... this one is now bleaching my bedding to the point i have to bin them, the previous batches didn’t.  DO NOT BUY - the company will not give me a refund either - returning the product from Uk to Us will probably cost me more money and time! Which it isn’t worth.

Seeking Advice

Okay sooo I've been using the regimen for 2 years now and I will say that it definitely cleared up my skin for the most part (Male, 21, oily) after using so many different washes, antibiotics, etc... However, after about a year and a half in, my acne has come back (not as severe) even though I have stuck to this regimen night and day every single day. Over time I found what worked best for me was:

-Acne.org cleanser or Cetaphil gentle cleanser

-Acne.org B.P Treatment

-Cera Ve Moisturizing Cream

-CLEAN DIET aka no dairy

So what I'm trying now is adding Jojoba Oil with the moisturizer (always was hesitant bc my skin is VERY oily) and so far haven't seen results. I've only been doing this for a month so definitely not enough time to tell. But if there are any men out there with oily skin that by some chance have had a similar situation please let me know if there is anything you switched up with the routine or if there is something you found that works for your oily skin. Thanks :)

Worked for my Post-Menopausal Break-Outs

I have been wanting to write a review for the Treatment 2.5% for quite some time. This will only apply to *ahem* older ladies like myself who still suffer from annoying break-outs. I never had pimples with pus..rather just a regular dose of red angry bumps mostly on both cheeks.  Since my teenage daughter was having success with the Acne.org products, I decided to try the treatment myself on my cheeks only.  This was two years ago, and I haven't had any recurrence of the red bumps since.  I give full credit to the 2.5% treatment gel and hope my success may encourage "mature ladies"  with skin break-outs to give this a try.....was definitely a win-win for me.

Not for me

To be fair, I have only been using the product for two weeks. However I am not new to benzoyl peroxide. I used to use Clinique's 2.5% BP cream for 8 years until they discontinued it. I have been looking for an a new acne treatment since. I started using a 5% BP that was working at keeping my breakouts away, but it was a little too drying for me (even with moisturizing), which is why I decided to give this a try. I understand that this product could cause initial purging however downgrading from a 5% BP to 2.5% should not have caused one in the first place (especially as bad as the one I am having now) , considering my skin was relatively clear with a few breakouts here and there at a certain time. My skin got pretty bad within the last two weeks (the worst its been since I was a teen), which is why I am giving up only after two weeks and going back to my 5%. The new breakouts I am getting are definitely more painful and red, they also linger for some time, which is why I am not sure if this is an initial purging period, or my skin just doesn't like it. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because it did not dry me out or cause any irritation. It didn't even feel like I was using a BP treatment. I believe that 2.5% is strong enough and not everyone needs 5/10%, but I am not sure that this exact one works for me. My personal advice to someone starting out BP for the first time, don't give up after 2 weeks like me, stick to it for AT LEAST a month, because you might be purging in the beginning. In my case, I don't think I am due to my past experience with BP (which has never really caused purging in the first place). If you're switching from another BP treatment that was working well to this and keep having a bad reaction, I suggest going back to the old BP. The 5% I was using was medical grade and a lot more expensive than this, which was another reason I wanted to switch, but if it keeps my breakouts away, I am willing to spend the money!

Update: I went back to my 5% BPO and my inflamed red breakouts have calmed down and are healing. This BPO was definitely causing a bad reaction and not purging, considering the breakouts weren't small and in the regular areas but were red and inflamed all over.

peeling

I bought this product back in september, because I was having hormonal acne and nothing was working not even changing my diet. This product truly has stopped any type of acne that I have had before. I didn't even really go through a purge phase. The only downfall is the fact that my skin was sooooo flaky. That lasted for a long time too, like about 4 or 5 months. Nonetheless though I remained clear always. My problem now is that I am going through flakyness once again. It had stopped and now it resumed and it's frustrating because I don't know why it re occured if I've stuck to the product. I use Aveeno as a moisturizer, because it helps a lot more than cerave or other creams. Another problem is since my skin is flaky whenever i try to put foundation it looks ugly, because it looks blotchy or it emphasizes the flakyness. I love that it cleared my acne, but I'm so over the flakyness. Does anyone have any recommendations?

BP is a game changer

I started practicing the Acne.org regimen and it dramatically changed my skin. I use the cetaphil gentle skin cleanser with the Acne.org BP and Neutrogena sensitive skin lotion with 2 drops of Jojoba oil and my acne has been controlled. The BP along with a non comedogenic cleanser and moisturizer is a game changer. Try it! blessings!

when did your peeling end?

Love!

I’ve been using this benzoyl treatment for about 7 years now and I love it! I put it anywhere I feel like a acne is brewing: face, back, derrière, chest, stomach, seriously everywhere and it works! If I catch them early enough and start applying a couple times a day as a spot treatment, they will go away!!! I use as an area treatment when I know my period is coming and I’m typically going to break out around my t-zone and chin area and I can catch the acne before it even starts. I’ve shared with many friends and family over the years and they’re happy with the results too! I don’t have super bad acne, just a handful of zits here and there but I play a lot of sports and I get acne around my sports bra and tights areas and this helps in those areas too. I don’t use any other products, just this treatment and it works amazing for me. I like that it goes on thin and I can put make up over it.
