Pros:

Helps dry out active acne. Also has many other uses. A great antiseptic!

Cons:

The smell is pretty gross. Some people really like the smell, its not for me. I deal with it though

I think the product is worth having around, I find myself using it for many things, from acne to bug bites!

Pros:

It reduces the size of pimples, lightens red marks, is easy to use and is organic.

Cons:

The smell, stings.

Overall, tea tree oil is great for acne. I use a 100% pure liquid as a topical cream on my face in the evening and a blemish stick under my make-up. Both are from the Thursday Plantation which specialises in tea tree Oil. On open cuts it burns; which is good insentive to not pick at pimples. I have post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation and have found that using 100% tea-tree oil on the red marks every couple of days and I have found that it helps fade them away. It is a very gradual process and I have been careful putting tea-tree oil on unaffected areas of my face - if you don't need it on part of your skin, don't put it there. Plain and simple. Another use is to put a few drops of the oil into a bowl of boiling water and steam your face with it. Basically, if you use tea tree oil right it will help with acne and red-marks. It's not a miracle treatment but it does help significantly. Tea Tree Oil = wonder from Down Under.

Works great as a spot treatment!
This works great as a spot treatment, if you have redness from a blemish or have squeezed it. It then heals very quickly and removes redness :D Does not work as a acne cure :(

Good stuff but strong.
Tea tree oil seems to help control some of my flare ups and heal any existing pimples. I primarily add about 2-3 drops to 1 pump of the Acne.org moisturizer. I also get really bad dandruff on my hairline (thinking it may be psoriasis because it's red sometime and really flaky) and tea tree oil really does wonders in getting rid of the redness and flakes. However, this stuff is strong and if you have sensitive skin, I highly recommend diluting it.

Pros:

Dry face the first day, then skin adjusted
Not irritating
Prevents new acne
Non greasy
Nice smell

Cons:

Can become ineffective the longer its exposed to air. So close container tightly and store in a dark place.

I first tried 1/2 tsp TTO with 1/2cup water in a cleaned out glass baby food jar and use a cotton ball. It mixes nicely with water as long as you shake or swirl the jar before opening it. It is important to close the jar tightly after and store in a dark place. The first week of use I had ZERO new zits. Absolutely amazing. Now I mix 1tsp of TTO with 1/2cup water and make sure to feel that strong minty tingle on my face after application, or else its time to mix a fresh batch.

Pros:

Pure
Calms down acne

Cons:

Can be expensive
Not the best smell

I believe I have combination skin, so this item has worked in a weird way for me. I'm using it a lot on my eyebrows (for some reason I keep getting spots there lately) and near my forehead and sides of my head, where my hair begins to grow. At these areas, this product has worked wonders! It really calms down my acne. I have tried to use it on my cheeks though and it's doing nothing :/ Then again, my acne on my cheeks is different from what I get near my hair. So just test it and see how it works guys! Definitely recommend it though, it WORKS!

Pros:

Help dries up pimples and prevents new ones from occuring
Good all-around spot treatment as well as toner
All Natural!!

Cons:

Can be extremely drying to the point of skin peeling
Burns if you have sensitive skin
Smell is acquired

I use this (5-6 drops) diluted with witch hazel twice a day as a toner/treatment. As a spot treatment I drip 1-2 drops right on the spot. It works GREAT. I've been battling with acne ever since puberty and I've tried most of the popular name brands ones, and found that my skin reacted horribly in the long-run to Benzyol Peroxide and other harsh chemicals found in expensive name brands. So I did a bunch of research and came up with a natural alternative to treating my acne, and this tea tree oil is high on the list. In a study, it was actually reported to have the same effect as 5% BP without all the nasty side effects. So bottom line is try it, because it's all natural and potent. But remember to dilute it with witch hazel or other carrier oils (bergamot, lavender, eucalyptus, etc) other wise it will be too harsh. And most importantly, don't forget to follow through with a good moisturizer, even if you have oily skin (for drier skin, I highly recommend 100% Shea Butter)

Works like a Charm!
I was using benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment for nearly 7 months and it didn't seem to really do a whole lot. I did start by putting it all over my face and that really made my face irritated and much worse ,so thats when I started using it as a spot treatment. Someone recommended using tea tree oil as a spot treatment recently and I was skeptical , I tried it like twice and gave up and went back to benzoyl peroxide. 4 days ago I got rid of all the bp and said screw it , I want to use more natural products on my face . And it really does WORK! It dries my pimples out better then the bp did . The only thing I really don't love about it is that it makes the area around the pimple very red. Other then that I would suggest trying this out before bp to anyone :)

Good spot treatment.
Ive had success with tea tree oil spot treatment. I have tried to dilute it and make a spray, but my skin was a bit sensitive to spray it all over my face and I had a reaction to it, diluted it even more and my skin was still kinda itchy when using it all over as a spray so I didn't like it as a spray. But I use it as a spot treatment after I moisturize my face, just using a q-tip exactly onto the spot I want to treat. I think it does really help when spot treating. It also has so many other uses its something handy to keep in the house.
