3 mg drosperinone and 0.03 mg ethinyl estradiol.

Inactive ingredients:
lactose monohydrate NF, corn starch NF, pregelatinized starch NF, povidone 25000 NF, magnesium stearate NF, hypromellose USP, macrogol 6000 NF, titanium dioxide USP, talc USP, and ferric oxide pigment, yellow NF. The white inert film-coated tablets contain lactose monohydrate NF, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate NF, hypromellose USP, talc USP, and titanium dioxide USP.

Pros:

you wont get pregnant and it is cheap but not worth the many side-effects

Cons:

horrible cramps, depression, severe acne, dissiness, blurry vision, forgetfulness, nausea, trouble sleeping, weight gain, increased appetite, sore breasts, longer and heavier period and i get it at weird times

Ocella sucks!!! no words to explain. I feel horrible always sad and in pain. i don't find joy in anything. My acne was finally starting to get better and i was about to go on acutane. but when you go on acutane you have to be on a birth control. so this is where my problems began. now i have trouble sleeping and i wake up a million ties during the night. i am always tired and hungry. not to mention the HORRIBLE cramps I get that make me feel like i'm going to die. I also and always nauseous and depressed. There is no up-side to this medication. It made my bad acne even worse and I see no advantage in taking this except you wont get pregnant.

Pros:

I took Yaz because I heard it made your boobs bigger and cleared up your complexion, it has done neither.

Cons:

I'm on my 2nd month and my complexion is worse than it ever has. I have cramps during my 2nd and 3rd week instead of just around my period. And I have much less energy working out and seem to be gaining fat!

DO NOT USE YAZ.

made me an emotional wreck, rage, anger, deep depressionn, leg cramps, black bruises, darkens facial skin pigment. oily skin increase major. panic attacks and heart palpatations.

I have been healthy my whole life until this pill, i would never reccomend it to anyone, acne is even better than this bcp. it made me have an irregular heart beat that would not stop,fast pulse . panic attacks out of no where for no reason,depression and anger episodes. which all stopped after this pill. I HAVE NEVER BEEN THRU MORE EMOTIONS IN MY LIFE. WILL NEVER TAKE AGAIN. give it a try if you want to play sycho rulette. desogen and mircette are way better and cleared my skin very well without all the side effects.

Pros:

nice packaging?

Cons:

insomnia, extremely bad moods, aggressive behaviour (slamming doors, throwing and breaking things), cysts on face, sore breasts, frequent urination, major anxiety (can't sit still, elevated heart rate).. and i've only been on it for 5 days!!

i have no idea why the doctor recommended this. it has changed me into a completely different person in less than a week and if i were to continue, i would need psychiatric assistance.

Pros:

My periods are lighter, and I have not gotten pregnet

Cons:

Horrible breakouts,cramping in between periods,always hungry.

I had moderate acne before I got on this. When I first started it only cleared up a little. Then shortly after i started getting these huge welt like Bumps all over. after a while it would clear up in one spot then break out horribly in another. It is the most painful acne I have ever had. I DO NOT recommend this product and can`t belive it even had gone up in price dramatically. I am getting on some new stuff ASAP

Emotionally Unbalanced, Severe Migraines, Blurred Vision,Spotting, Discharge, skin tags,acne

Please seriously research this pill before taking it. I wish I had. I orginially took Dianne 35 (Dianette) to control my acne after 10 years of being on it I started to develop migraines so decided to swith to "the rols royce of contraceptives" - Yasmin. Honestly, have NEVER experienced anything like it,I've been taking Yasmin for the past three months and in that period have had awful splitting migraines that seem to last throughout my cycle. I've also been an emotional wreck - crying for no reason, snapping at people, feeling very low in myself etc... Thanks to all those who posted their comments, your posts have helped me make the decision to stop taking this pill immediately.

Pros:

None as of yet as im not using it for birth control

Cons:

Extreme acne break out, nausea, depression, mood swings, crying at the smallest things

I would'nt try this yasmin again, although im going to stick to it for the packets we have in the cuboard cost a fortune! About $50.00 a month. I was on estelle for about 12 months and it was WONDERFUL! Ask your doctor if estelle would be ok for you then try it before yasmin. Its much cheaper to. A dollar a month.

Cons:

worst mood swings ever, suicidal, depression, nausea, headaches, aggresive, lethargic, cramps, crying all the time (symptoms I have gotten after about 9 months of using Yasmin). Expensive. I would not recommend this for anyone.Almost ruined my life.

Not worth even trying.

increased acne, extremely sore breasts, weight gain, depression so bad that i don't want to leave the house,crying spells, irritability, heavy periods that last much longer than before...

I was put on this pill by my Derm. to treat my acne. I was previously on Allesse for about 6 years and loved it!!!! No complaints there. This is the end of my 2nd month of Yasmin and I thought I was going crazy until I started looking around on the net. Turns out I'm not alone. My acne is so bad right now that I have actually made an appt with my MD to discuss Accutane. My breasts are so painful and enlarged that it actually hurts to wash them in the shower. I am extremely active so this poses a huge problem and also makes no sense that I have gained about 10 lbs in the past 2 months. A friend has a good experience with this pill and is urging me to stick it out for one more month but there is no way. I hate this pill. I have three left in this pack and then I will be back on Allesse. Praying everything goes back to normal.

Cons:

gained 10 pounds in 2 months, horrible mood swings, depression, low self esteem, rage and anger, crying all the time for no reason, severe sensitivity, acne, extremely painful leg cramps

IF YOU WANT TO MAKE YOURSELF HATE LIFE, then go for it.
