Pros:

Boobs bigger, periods regular for the first time

Cons:

Made very mild acne into a terrible, crazy mess

I was really optimistic about trying this...I have had acne issues for about 12 years (since I was 12), and I thought maybe this would help out while at the same time regulating my period (which is why I went on it in the first place). HOWEVER, within several months, my face looked AWFUL. I was so upset, because my skin had been pretty consistently clear...just a little breakout around TOM, and some oilyness. Also, in the past I have only dealt with whiteheads and smaller zits...this gave me huge, angry, red pustules. I told my dermatologist that I thought it was the yaz my gyno had prescribed; she waved that off, saying yaz was good for skin and that couldn't be the problem. After I broke out in a horrible, itchy rash over my entire body, I went back to the gyno, who took me off of it. Sure enough, within a month, my skin had markedly improved and was back to normal after about six months.

Pros:

Made my boobs bigger.

Cons:

I keep breaking out very badly and my pimples are not going away, my boobs are extremely sore the week before and week of my period, I've gained a bit of weight and I have frequent mood swings. I am often depressed and now have poor self-confidence.

I've heard so many great reviews about Yasmin so I was ecstatic when my doctor put me on it. However, my skin was NEVER this bad before starting Yasmin and I've never broken out this badly. I've used this product for seven weeks now and people usually say they being seeing results after 2-3 months, so I guess I'll stick it out a little longer and see how it turns out.

Pros:

lighter period, no cramps

Cons:

increased appetite, strange pain in legs, diminished sex drive

the fact is, that all combination pills kill the sex drive. the reason being, that they stop the production of androids (malehormones in woman) that cause the sexdrive. This is why acne clears out as well. Even the official pages say, that Yasmin works byt "tricking" the body thinking it is already pregnant. What does a pregnant lady do? Eat, and again eat. I am worried about the leg cramps, probably will endure the pms and period pain so I can feel healthy and normal again. So wont continue.

Pros:

less oily skin/acne

Cons:

Chest pains!, muscle spasms, headaches, have to pee alot (yasmin has a diruetic in it which makes you lose water), I think i got ever side effect other in the book and I on it for only 1 month!!

Hate this pill! I've been on BC in the past and never had so many side effects. Ended up in the ER 3 nights ago because of the chest pains. All tests were normal, but I'm still feeling it. NOT WORTH IT!!! Some people have no problems, but if you do a internet search on yasmin you'll find alot of negative comments... more than any other pill. I wish I had done my research before choosing this pill.

My uterous is now twice the size it should be, and i might have some type of tumors! I go for an ultra sound next week! THIS PRODUCT IS HORRIBLE! Do not let your doctor change your BCP ladies, "if it aint broke, dont fix it"

Pros:

Prevented pregnancy

Cons:

I never had acne until I started Yasmin. Now, my acne will never go away, and I have more hair growth on my body.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!! I AM SERIOUS. This is probably one of the worst birth control pills on the market. It has even been proven in some medical trials to be the CAUSE of acne, NOT PREVENTION. Also, I never had a Urinary Tract Infection before I started this pill. However, I got UTIs almost every month. This birth control pill is NOT WORTH THE PRICE--even if it was free. I had to make an appointment with the physician to find a different birth control pill. If the acne doesn't kill you, then the bladder infections will.

Pros:

few side effects and i guess it works as a contraceptive if u use it for that?

Cons:

my skin got worse so went to docs to change pill, since stopping taking yasmin my skin has got slightly better so i also think it made things worse, or at least no better! had headches which may or may not be related.

my doc said a lot of women like this pill and that it helps with a lot of problems, but for me it did absolutely nothing and i wouldnt recommend it!
