Inactive ingredients:

Pros:

Does not make me feel nausea.

Cons:

Break out city on chin and moody, crying.

I am so happy I have read other comments about Yasmin. I have only been taking this for 3 months now but it has giving me bad acne break out on my chin. I used to take Brenda/Dianne but after a couple of years I packed on the pounds and it was making me feel sick when I would take it. Finally I thought I would change it, it has fixed one problem but made another. I think I will risk another 3 months and see if it gets better. I have also been feeling more moody (my poor boyfriend!) and been getting upset and small issues which normally wouldn't bother me. Fingers crossed it will sort out in the next couple of months.

Pros:

Lost weight

Cons:

Cystic acne, no sex drive, no appetite, diarrhea

This product was SUPPOSE to help with my complextion. I only took the product for 2 weeks and developed cystic acne on my cheeks. I quit taking it immediatley. Also wasn't able to eat what I normally could without it running through my body in a matter of minutes. I also would like to keep my sex drive. Big mistake for me to get on YAZ. I am going back to using condoms.

didnt get pregnant

Cons:

gained weight, went from a size 5 to a size 11! in jeans!, depression, mood swings,

dont take it if it gives you a hard time

Pros:

Not Pregnant.

Cons:

Horrible Acne, mood swings, feeling lethargic, increased appetite. Extremely expensive.

I hate this birth control and will switch soon. I have never had acne in my life. Now my forehead, neck and mouth area are covered. I usually don't wear foundations & now have to wear it AND concealer. I feel ugly, moody and tired.

Pros:

No cramps

Cons:

BAD acne, the deep cystic kind. Period not any lighter. Depression. Low libido.

I was on it about six months and just threw out a pack mid-way through. I can't stand this product. Only a week later my skin has started to visibly clear up. I also feel better mentally, as in the dark cloud has lifted.

Pros:

I don't think i've been taking this pill long enough to see any positive use out of it. Before this, I was on ortho micronor because of the low hormones. (I have gall stones, so anything with excess hormones can cause an attack).

Cons:

I've never had acne in my LIFE until i started using this pill. I'm mainly having breakouts aroung my cheeks, jawline and mouth. I think I should either talk to a doc and switch soon, or maybe just get an non-hormonal IUD. Any suggestions?

This pill has been reported to lessen breakouts. Maybe I should give it a little longer before I change to another BC method, but Im getting impatient because I'm not used to having breakouts like this. Perhaps this pill just has a different reaction on different people, but I have yet to experience any positive reactions. As a matter of fact, I've read more bad reports on it from people who have tried it than good reports.

SEVERE ANXIEY, SEVERE PANIC ATTACKS UNABLE TO FUNCTION IN LIFE MY LIFE IS FALLING APART CANT BREATH CONSTANT TIRED AND THIRSTY!

Pros:

Weight loss, No pregnancy, no loss of sex drive, periods fine

Cons:

Acne!

I was put on this pill after being on Microgynon for 4 years- i was happy with that pill but had gained a lot of weight and my skin was not perfectly clear- i was still getting the odd spot and the doctor explained Microgynon was probably the cause as it wasnt brilliant for skin. A month into Yasmin my skin had flared up, and by the third month i had full blown acne. The stress this has caused me has now given me eczema on my arms, and although i have lost a stone in weight, my skin has made me miserable, i am now taking antibiotics for my acne and a topical gel,and also cream for my eczema. I have changed my pill now to Cilest, although i have to finish the current pack of yasmin i am on. I cannot believe what misery this pill has caused me.

Pros:

no heart palpitations, no weight gain

Cons:

severe exhaustion, headaches, dehydration, nausea; no evidence so far of skin clearing up

I've been on Yasmin for about 1.5 months, will give it perhaps 3 months and then quite if no change. I'm not taking for birth control, but specifically for skin problems--have been dealing with adult acne for years, and no topical treatment was working--but so far, my skin has not improved. I was on Lo/Ovral previously, and no only was it ineffective against skin problems, but it also gave me heart palpitations (doctor denied it could be the cause, but no doubt in my mind)--that was scary, and it hasn't been happening w. Yasmin. However, feeling really really tired and depleted all the time is no picnic either.

BAD ACNE

I just started taking it because my last birth control gave me bad acne.I hoped it would clear it all up. I look worse. ITs everywhere. I don't get it!
