Pros:

I have found dianette a perfect solution, having suffered since age 12, antioboitcs did nothing, started pill 90 got married in 91 skinn was perfect, no greasy t-zone, came off as had kids have been on & off it, but I am heading for 40 got to cme off

Cons:

none, so what if weight gain i would rather had better skin, moods i can cope with, yes its not for everyone but like me when you have tried it all it is the best & its a contraceptive pill too!!! so it's free

I have been off for 5 months now, skin is greasy, on face, back & chest, spots are coming back on a dn around sides of face not happy, confidence lacking, freinds say its ok but for me its not and i can't get to close to people as i feel thats wehat they sre staring at, hubby says i'm fine. Why is there nothing else that has this ingredient in that work so well......... I feel i will go back on it as i know it works, hate having to wash hair everyday and feel a mess as that is how i feel.

Pros:

Made my skin look & feel great!

Cons:

Once I stopped the pill to try for a baby my skin got worse!!!

It's good if you're gonna use it for the rest of your life cos you have no plans of getting pregnant!

Pros:

BRILLIANT. The only tablet to work so far - it was this or accutane. Also free cos I get it on the NHS.

Cons:

Worse cramps than before. My boobs get water tension more but haven't grown thankfully. I'm very thin so the weight gain (half a stone) was a good thing.

If you think your acne is hormonal I recommend it. If you are about to take accutane women usually have to go on the pill anyway, so if you are using dianette for this reason (like I originally was) maybe wait 3-4 months before using accutane to see if the dianette makes a difference - accutane has more side affects. I noticed the improvement with the pill in a month so refused accutane.

Pros:

Does work and gives you perfect skin and bigger boobs and less facial hair

Cons:

Can't be on it for rest of your life, too much of a good thing has negative effects

It is good and does it's job well. However I am now off it and worried about getting spots which I never had that bad in the first place! don't think anyone should ever go on this spots just come back really really bad and just messes with your hormones.

Pros:

After having tried about 4 different antibiotics which had little effect, I started taking Dianette at 15. After giving it a change (it doesn't work overnight) my acne cleared up and I took it for 8 years. Now I changes pill and still no acne!

Cons:

None noticed

It was a great solution for me. I think as it is a hormonal treatment it needs time to make a change but it was the right thing for me.

Pros:

Cleared my spots from my face, neck, chest and back in a couple of months when i started Diannette 8 years ago. This pill gave me a life. I was so unhappy before this and had tried everything. I have had no side affects with this pill.

Cons:

I have come off the pill 3 month ago to try for a baby and the spots have come back very quick, they are everywhere again and i feel i have gone back in time.

I think i will be back on dianette one day. I thought at the age of 26 i would not have spots when i came off the pill. I couldn't have been anymore wrong!! They are really getting me down.

Pros:

It just worked.

Cons:

Takes about 3 months to kick in. Some doctors say you shouldn't stay on it for too long but my doctor was not concerned, I think because I was a healthly non smoker.

After a decade on dianette and 100% ckear skin I have had to come off it due to hoping to start a family. After 2 months spots (and lots of them) have appeared on my chest.

Pros:

Absolutely fantastic at clearing up skin, whilst on this I did not suffer once with any huge sore spots my skin is crystal clear and smooth - I am so pleased with dianette it has given me the confidence not to wear foundation or cover up anymore :)

Cons:

One day going to have to come off it and watch the oil play havoc with my skin, one day my doctor will not prescribe me them anymore esp if i want to try for a baby in the next 2 years...once im off this i know my skin will be a mess!

Dianette is fantastic at clearing up spot, I have been on it for one year now and it has given me the confidence to go out without having to plaster on the foundation and cover them huge zits. Its not all smiles though I have experienced loss of sex drive - to be honest my sex life has gone down hill whilst I have been on this pill and i do have days when I feel ugly and depressed, I know for a fact its the pill making me feel like this as before I was on it the only hang up I had was with my skin, not my hair or face or looks. Its very good byt be careful with it and do plenty of research before going on it!!

Pros:

cleared up my skin fantastically! bigger boobs, hair less greasy

Cons:

nausea, headaches, experienced 3 panic attacks up to date, bigger appetite.

ive got to make a decision between the possible chance of getting my acne again or carry on feeling like this. i must admit after reading all these reviews on this pill, my problems seem to be reasonably minor. out of 1-10 i feel like this pill scores 6/10, totally not sure of what to do!!! im so scared to get my bad skin back, as it looks so great nowadays. help me!!! need some advice.

Pros:

Cleared acne up face is much clearer and only get the ocassional spot now and then, also made me lose weight

Cons:

when stopped taking it piled 2 stone on!!!

i used this pill for about a year within a few months of taking it it cleared up my acne, i didnt feel any different while taking it,and it was also in my opinion a good contraceptive.
