Pros:

Cheap if u have insurance, cleared skin alot better, acne is better controlled after using cleansers, it seems to work 50% better than before

Cons:

Its not bad im on my 3rd refill and last right now if it wont work then im gonna go for something else. I dont rec because its still there like 30% left but it did get better.

Pros:

This is my second week... My skin is clearing, don't know whether it is from this differin or clindamycin pledgets.... NO SIDE EFFECTS, except a bit more tired.

Cons:

None.

I hope this helps with my hormonal, jawline, cystic acne and CLOGGED pores on chin (that eventually turn into cystic bumps). I am thankful I didn't let all the negative reviews about side effects stop me from using it.

Pros:

Can be taken with food. It worked for me.

Cons:

Only treats red, pus-filled pimples and red bumps of moderate to severe acne. Constant headaches, sense of dizziness right after taking it, stomach pains, bruised easily

If the benefits outweigh the disadvantages, then by god, I'm using it. I can deal with little things. Acne, on the other hand, I can not deal with. Used for at least 6 months. Using the access card, I pay only $10.00 each month for 30 pills.

Pros:

Cleared up my acne very quickly, within a week I was clear but I do get an occasional whitehead.

Cons:

Expensive for me! 60.00 for 30 days.

I'm glad my dermatologist gave me the prescription as I was breaking out with new acne almost daily and cystic ones as well. I also use proactiv face wash, moisturizer and sulfer treatment on my new acne and nutragena spf30 oil free moisturizer over the proactiv.

Pros:

Cleared up skin perfectly, got card from my doctor so that copay was $5/month

Cons:

upset stomach, had to take with food or else threw up, yeast infections, severe bruising, light headed (sometimes it got really bad), and once I went off it I looked like a 15 year old again (I'm 22).

What price are you going to pay for clear skin? Is suffering all of the above symptoms worth it? For a while it was for me, until I started hearing that many acne medications cause liver/kidney failure....I'm NOT okay with that.

Pros:

cleared up skin, is easy to take

Cons:

when i went off of it, my skin went crazy

this was the one antibiotic that worked for me.... but whenever i would go off of it, i had huge flare ups. im finally off it now, and dealing with the effects, and hoping they'll get better. i would recommend it, but not for a lengthy period of time because 1) you have to get blood drawn to make sure your liver is functioning (it can damage it) every 6 months or so 2) your body gets used to it and acne gets worse after you stop

Pros:

Solodyn kept most or all acne away.

Cons:

It needs to be taken with food or else there may be a slight queaziness...especially in the morning. Did not get rid of the small cystic acne below the jawline.

Works well. Nothing can rid your acne "FOREVER" so don't go in with unreal expectations but this product clears up moderate acne but not rid of severe acne such as large cysts below the skin.

Pros:

Amazing! took a little while to work but it has really helped alongside all the washes and creams i use too. i recommend for people with deep acne like i had

Cons:

it hasnt been tested long term...and i am still on it. my derm wants me to try and stop if i can but why would i want to stop if its working? however, i have been getting blood tests since ive been on it and my white blood cell count is lowering....

I would give this a try before using acutane. it isnt as harmful and the only side effect i have had is a lowering white blood cell count. at the beginning i did have stomach pains but they have gone away now and i take the pill every other day. just be careful with it. if something else works for u i'd use that since this one isnt meant for long term yet.... but it does what it's supposed to once u give it time.
