Pros:

Clears up severe/cystic acne.

Cons:

I don't know if I will have to rely on this pill and keep taking it for a long period of time to keep my skin clear.?

I like this pill. I used to have bad acne but now my skin is good. I've been on this pill for 3 months now and it cleared up the acne on my face and chest. I haven't had a big painful pimple in 3 months and for me that seems like a long time. I just wonder how long I will need to stay on this pill without becoming dependant on it. My dermatologist also said this pill was expensive so I feel bad for my mom to have to keep paying for it for me. But having clear skin has changed my life for the better.

Pros:

You don't have to do anything besides remember to take it at night.
Doesn't make your skin sensitive, or does it dry it out, a common side-effect with many acne treatments.

Cons:

It is EXPENSIVE if your insurance does not cover it
Took 3 months to kick in

I took a while for me to stop breaking out, I didn't see any difference until three months later but when I did finally stop breaking out, I only had one or two pimples within a two-month period. I think it's worth buying

Pros:

Started seeing a decrease in pimple size 3 days after using. So far it's working. Only cost me 10 dollars because my dermatologist gave me the card you activate on the phone.

Cons:

Dry lips.

Even though it says you can take this medicine without food, I highly suggest you take it with the biggest meal of your day. It will decrease your chances at the side affects.

Pros:

it works...for me...quickly and effectively

Cons:

with no other changes in my life....diet, excercise, sleep...all good and fine....I have gained quite a bit of weight. Maybe the Solodyne?

I have a wheat allergy and only have bad bad outbreaks when I accidently ingest wheat gluten or use a gluten shampoo/lotion.... anyway...as long as I stay away, 100% from wheat, I have no acne. I used Solodyne when I accidently use gluten...it takes a couple weeks of Solodyne to clear it up....then I'm good until the next accident.

Pros:

It works for me with another medication.

Cons:

A little dizzy with headaches.

It worked for me with SPIRONOLACTO ( which helps with hormones) Together they helped my face clear up and no new breakouts. I used to have those painful cystic ones so I'm glad they are gone. Now if I only knew how to get rid of these deep scars. Oh and It really bugs me when people write a review after 2 days. Give it time before you influence people on here.

Pros:

It works as long as you keep taking it.

Cons:

The price if you don't have decent insurance or the discount cards. Some people complain of dizziness and weakness.

As long as you get the right MG it works. At least it worked for me. I've had acne for over 17 years and this really works for facial acne. I had slight dizziness and weakness when I first started taking it but it didn't effect my workout at all. I've been on the RX for over a year and just got another year RX from the derm. She didn't seemed concerned at all regarding the time I've been on it. No liver problems, no dizziness anymore, and no redness. My derm was kind enough to also give me a handfull of discount cards although I've already paid the $300 deductable for my crappy RX plan. Make sure you try to take it around the same time everyday with at least some water.

Pros:

It cleared the redness of my face within about one week :D At one point i thought nothing was going to work on my face because i tried everything in the stores. Solodyn is amazing, and i recomend it to anybody in their teens.

Cons:

the first few times i used it it made my stomach super sick, still get a few pimples here and there.

if you have really bad acne, this is the stuff for you. It isn't like all of the stuff you buy at the store, it actually works. It gave me my confidence back :)
