Good
Let me just say that I don't use this as a spot treatment, I use it on my whole face. I use it as the BP part of the Regimen and it works very well for me, but for some reason it makes my skin feel tight and cakey.

Pros:

Does not leave my skin feeling sticky/oily.
Lightweight and fresh on my skin.
Reduces redness and smooths skin.

Cons:

Expensive for such a small tube.
If you use makeup, i would not recommend using this under your foundation. It causes the foundation to clump on the skin and looks flaky.

I've only been using this for a couple of days. The morning after using this on the first night with generous amounts of aloe vera gel, my reddish bumpy skin seemed tightened, significantly smoother and slightly less red. After washing my face however, the tightness did not last, a pity there. This also did not dry out my pimple very effectively though, because it is still there and not dried at all. BUT, it did smoothen my bumpy(nodules i think) skin, which was a relieve. Anyway, I will try this product for a longer period and get back to review it again. Last words: Not bad, i'm hopeful!

Pros:

It really drys out the pimple slowly removing it. It has not caused any reaction to my skin though mine is a very sensitive. I used to have red to brown marks on my face because of my pimples. With time it reduced the blemish on my face.

Cons:

It causes slight drying , which can be taken care of by using moisturiiser or using a scrub daily

It is excellent if you are looking for a long term effect. The 3 months I have been using it. My acne outbreak has reduced so much.

Pros:

prevents new acne
dries old zits

Cons:

it might take some time to REALLY start working
dries skin big time
stings the first weeks of application

Over the past years I've tried this product and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I always suffered from moderate acne since my teen years, and the first time I tried On-the-Spot Acne Treatment, it seemed to work perfectly fine. I would stop using it because it was to the point where my skin was completely clear and it was only making my skin dry. Acne came back (of course) for a few times and I went back to use this product, but like I said there were times when it wouldn't work at all and had to use something else to treat my acne. Right now Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment is SLOWLY working again(been using it for a month,) but just last night I decided to try baking soda as a mask (3 times a week) and Apple Cider Vinegar as a toner as well. I just put it on my face last night and already saw improvement. The days I don't use baking soda, I'll keep putting On-the-Spot Acne Treatment... see how it goes!

Pros:

Clears up acne quickly, in many cases overnight. Easy to find. BP gives me better results over all other RXs and OTCs I've tried.

Cons:

Premature Aging, Drying, Bleaches clothing

I am 25 years old have been dealing with acne for over 10 years now. I really thought I would be through with this once I was about 20 or so, and while it is more controllable now, it has not gone away completely. I've read studies that when BP oxygenates the skin, it produces free radicals and when used over long periods of time can be incredibly damaging. I decided to switch to Retin-A Micro, BHA 5%, and using Vitamin C serum under my sunscreen to help treat my acne and reverse some of the previous damage I've done with BP. However, my skin was breaking out. I would have a few days of clearer skin, but it would never be consistent like when I use BP. So, given all this information, I still went ahead and started incorporating BP back into my regimen every other night. My skin has dramatically improved but I've used BPs for so many years. It's sad to have to choose between clear skin and free radical damage.

Pros:

I put it on in the morning before school, and at night before I sleep, and it clears up any small pimple I get in about 5 days.

Cons:

It's lotion like, so it seems like it would be oily.

It's a great product.
